Pray For The Peace of Jerusalem (1/26/25)[Prayer]Names and Titles of God the Holy Spirit (Comforter) John 14:15-2015 If ye love me, keep my commandments. 16 And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever; 17 Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you. 18 I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you. 19 Yet a little while, and the world seeth...

Like many Americans, I became so angry at the things Joe Biden did — or did not do — that I would have to psychologically manage it through a variety of stress-reducing techniques. For example, immigration: It seemed to me as if I was being driven from my own country, and I am supposed to just take this because Joe Biden supposedly won the election? Can feckless, gutless, and weak Joe Biden do anything to me and then justify it through the press, and then the press uses its massive media might to demonize me? It seemed to me as...

*** A full 59 percent of Americans aren’t in a position to use their savings “to pay for a major unexpected expense, such as $1,000 for an emergency room visit or car repair,” said a Jan. 23 report from the company. This is up from 56 percent a year back. “We are essentially a paycheck-to-paycheck nation,” said Mark Hamrick, senior economic analyst at Bankrate. *** To help alleviate the financial crunch, President Donald Trump issued an executive order for*** “emergency price relief” for families and tackling the cost of living crisis facing America on his first day in office. The 12-month...

President Donald Trump’s executive order to rename the Gulf of Mexico and Alaska’s Denali, the tallest peak in the country, has resulted in lots of discussion. While for some, such renaming might seem less important than the big problems the country faces, there is a formal process in the United States for renaming places, and that process is taken seriously.Usually, so people don’t get confused, official, agreed-upon names are used by the government. In the U.S., place names are standardized by the U.S. Board on Geographic Names, which is part of the U.S. Geological Survey, the agency in charge of...

Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg reportedly trash-talked his former top lieutenant Sheryl Sandberg during his visit to Mar-a-Lago, blaming her for implementing controversial DEI initiatives at Facebook that “encouraged employees’ self-expression in the workplace.” Zuckerberg, who has drawn criticism for cozying up to the new administration, made the comment during a sit-down with President-elect Donald Trump’s advisers at his Florida retreat shortly after the Republican’s historic election victory in November, according to the New York Times. The discussions on Nov. 27 — which included Stephen Miller, who will take over as White House deputy chief of staff — covered a range...

GUATEMALA CITY, GUATEMALA — U.S. military planes carrying dozens of expelled migrants arrived in Guatemala, authorities said Friday, as President Donald Trump moved to crack down on illegal immigration. A total of 265 Guatemalans arrived on three flights — two operated by the military, and one a charter, the Central American country's migration institute said, updating earlier figures. Washington also sent four deportation flights to Mexico on Thursday, the White House press secretary said on X, despite multiple U.S. media reports that authorities there had turned at least one plane back. The Mexican government has not confirmed either the arrival...

So if Trump goes after the cartels, that will make things...worse? Mexican cartels are making billions trafficking illegals and drugs across our border. They are allowing dangerous gangs and terrorists to invade the U.S and destroy our country. They are raping and killing women and children. Mexico essentially does nothing to control the cartels. The cartels control the politicians. But somehow, going to where the cartels are with special forces will make things worse. They say it will destabilize things. Cartels making billions each year committing crimes is destabilizing. Why would we want to keep things stable? Trump says he...

Oh, some liberals are surely trying to take a victory lap because Mexico purportedly rejected one military flight carrying a horde of illegal aliens. And it’s NBC News again that’s guilty of spreading this odd story that essentially undercuts itself in the opening paragraphs. First, it wasn’t denied. The flight proceeded as planned, but there was an administrative hiccup that was quickly resolved.

Strong leaders cannot carry the weight of history from their knees. After four years with a mumbling fool stumbling around in the role of “president,” we have a strong communicator back in the White House. The difference is striking. While President Trump was simultaneously signing executive orders and answering questions from the press on his first day back on the job, he suggested to those in attendance that he might have taken more questions in those first few hours than Joe Biden had taken during all four years in office. The assembled journalists seemed to quietly concur. Joe’s handlers spent...

President Trump gets a thing or two done. In his first term in office, President Trump apparently thought he could operate as if the federal government were a corporation he headed as Chief Executive and Commander in Chief of the armed forces. He assumed those beneath him would give him honest counsel, would perform their assigned duties, and follow his directives. He learned otherwise. All the steps he took the first week after beginning his astonishing second term are those a wise CEO and commander in chief must take to do the job he promised and was elected to do....

Dozens of New York City educators have been accused of having inappropriate, often sexual relationships and communications with students, with some requesting nude snaps or plying them with money, gifts or drugs, newly released records show. Thirty-two more cases of educators and other school staffers engaged in improper communications with kids were substantiated by the city’s Special Commissioner of Investigation — boosting the total to at least 121 cases from 2018 to 2024, up from 89 tallied in May, according to reports released to The Post. Special Commissioner Anastasia Coleman has recommended 54 times from 2019 to 2023 that the...

A highly sought-after drug kingpin was captured when officials tracked his wife’s social media account and pinpointed his location during their lavish European vacation. Luis Manuel Picado Grijalba, 43, was arrested at a London airport in December after he was accused of shipping cocaine from Limón, Costa Rica to the US, Nicaragua’s La Prensa reported. Grijabla, who goes by his alias “Shock,” was wanted by the US Drug Enforcement Administration for several months for his alleged involvement in international drug trafficking, said Randall Zúñiga the director of Costa Rica’s Judicial Investigation Department (OIJ). The alleged kingpin – who rarely traveled...

President Trump has vowed to crack down on the extreme left-wing agenda — but a woke stronghold lurks a stone’s throw away. The United States Senate Library — located in the basement of the Russell Senate office building in Washington D.C. — offers a slew of prominently displayed woke titles pumping everything from diversity equity and inclusion, far-left policy manifestos, polemics against Christians, and even deep dives into the long-discredited Russia probe. The taxpayer-funded library — its 21-person payroll expenditures exceed $1.9 million per year — maintains a collection of 45,000 books and serves a population of roughly 6,000, mostly...

“But He answered and said, ‘It is written . . . it is written . . . it is written . . .’” (Matthew 4:4, 7, 10). The Lord Jesus Christ is indeed our supreme example for how to resist temptation. Hebrews 4:15 reminds us, “We do not have a high priest who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses, but One who has been tempted in all things as we are, yet without sin” (cf. 2:18). Our responsibility is to consider the many ways He was tempted, look to Him, and follow His example in turning away from sin. Jesus met...
