Well, that was cold. Sen. John Fetterman (D-Pa.) arrived at the Capitol for President-elect Donald Trump’s Inauguration in a black hoodie, gray gym shorts and sneakers — staying true to his traditional fashion style, despite the freezing temp outside. Everyone else was seen wearing formal attire. Temperatures in the nation’s capital hovered around 20 degrees with a wind chill in the teens, as the senator entered the Capitol. Washington, DC, declared a cold weather emergency ahead of Inauguration Day and the swearing-in ceremony was moved indoors due to the potentially-dangerous weather. But that didn’t deter Fetterman, 55 — who has...

WASHINGTON, D.C. — The next era of life in the United States promised to be a sobering one, as Americans learned today that an elderly dementia patient had been cruelly evicted from his own home. The news came early Monday morning and provided the country with an unsettling glimpse into how the incoming Trump administration will operate, as a man described as a devoted public servant for over a half-century and suffering in the advanced stages of cognitive decline had been informed that he was not only out of work but also being forced to leave his house. "Such a...

Elon Musk is the last hope for European citizens. Europe’s nations teeter on the brink of socialist autocracy, even as they accuse Musk of being an existential threat to “democracy” in Europe. Across Europe, increasingly totalitarian European governments are desperate to destroy Musk, whom they say (echoing Democrats at home) threatens democracy: Zlatti71 @Zlatti_71 🇩🇪Scholz called Musk a threat to democracy in Europe. Speaking at a press conference in Berlin, the German chancellor accused the businessman of supporting far-right parties in the EU: "This endangers the democratic development of Europe, it endangers our community and must be criticised." Earlier, Musk...

When 1,009 registered voters were asked for their one-word verdict, the most popular answer was: Good. The results come in the latest J.L. Partners poll for DailyMail.com, just ahead of Trump's inauguration on Monday. It found that voters overwhelmingly believe tackling illegal immigration and deportations should be Trump's priority on day one. Starting mass deportations was seen as most important by 23 percent of respondents. Next came sealing a peace deal with Ukraine, cited by seven percent, and removing tax on tips (one of Trump's most eye-catching campaign promises), on six percent.

MSNBC host Joy Reid said Monday during the inauguration of President-elect Donald Trump that it was tough to watch the “takeover of the United States by a base mentality of greed and corruption.” Reid said, “The promise of the incoming administration is to wipe away the civic memory of Washington, to get rid of and to fire all of the people who normally transition as civil servants from one administration to the next. The promises on the table are 200 some odd executive actions, an attempt to get rid of birthright citizenship, an attempt to do mass deportation.”

(Credit: Hebrew University) A new variety of synthetic meat, comparable in flavor to lamb or beef, has been created by an Israeli-based research team using metamaterials and injection molding technology. The artificial meat is reportedly difficult to distinguish from its naturally farmed counterparts, according to scientists with the Hebrew University of Jerusalem involved in the research. The team calls their meat substitute a “major step” toward producing sustainable alternatives to traditional protein sources derived from livestock. The innovation is described in a new paper that appeared in Nature Communications. Artificial Whole-Cut ‘Meta-Meat’ Whole cuts currently represent more than half of...

Washington CNN — President Joe Biden on Monday issued an extraordinary slate of preemptive pardons for prominent critics of President-elect Donald Trump and members of his own family, using executive prerogative as a shield against revenge by his incoming successor while also guaranteeing his closest relatives aren’t subject to future prosecutions. Clemency for Gen. Mark Milley, Dr. Anthony Fauci and members of Congress who served on the committee investigating the January 6, 2021, attack on the Capitol, was announced early Monday morning. Later, minutes before Trump was to be inaugurated as the nation’s 47th president, Biden also issued pardons for...

Donald Trump will sign an executive order Monday halting all new foreign aid unless it fits with U.S. strategic goals, according to two incoming senior White House officials. The aim is to prevent American taxpayers' cash falling into the hands of groups working against the U.S. or promoting 'diversity, equity, inclusion' agendas, for example. And it will likely immediately halt new U.S. money going to the United Nations Relief and Works Agency (UNRWA). It is the agency that distributes aid in Gaza but it has repeatedly been accused of close ties to the terror group Hamas. The UN admitted that...

Pope describes Trump’s planned deportations of immigrants as a ‘disgrace’Pope Francis has criticized US President-elect Donald Trump’s plan to deport immigrants as a “disgrace.” The pontiff, speaking during an Italian television interview, was asked about the incoming Trump administration’s plans to expel undocumented immigrants through an aggressive slate of immigration executive orders by the incoming president, who will be inaugurated Monday. “If it is true, it will be a disgrace, because it makes the poor wretches who have nothing to pay the unpaid bill. It won’t do. This is not the way to solve things,” Francis said during the Sunday...

... Since seizing office in 2021 following a presidential election that was tainted by widespread voter fraud, Joe Biden has overseen rampant inflation, disastrous foreign policy, a rise in poverty, the invasion of over ten million illegal aliens, the persecution and torture of political opponents and an obsession with identity politics, among many other failings. In addition to his political failings, Biden has also been in a state of constant mental and physical decline that eventually culminated with him being forced to drop out the presidential race and make way for his vice-president Kamala Harris. Thankfully, the American people recognized...

Donald Trump and Joe Biden exchanged smiles for the cameras as they met at the White House on Monday morning ahead of the president-elect formally taking power. The president-elect and Melania Trump walked up the front stairs hand-in-hand, where President Biden and first lady Jill Biden awaited them. 'Welcome home,' Biden told Trump. The two couples shook hands and briefly posed for pictures, looking visibly cold in the wind. Unlike eight years ago, when Melania arrived with a gift wrapped in Tiffany blue for Michelle Obama, she was empty-handed when she greeted Jill Biden. The two couples will enjoy coffee...

Multiple reports over the weekend indicated that President-elect Donald Trump is promising near-immediate action to shut down offshore wind farm projects throughout the Northeast United States, which were widely unpopular with locals who feared the industrialization of their natural shorelines and environmental destruction. The administration of outgoing President Joe Biden had prioritized funding and support for offshore wind projects during its four years in power, including major wind farm subsidies in the so-called “Inflation Reduction Act” and relying on leftist governors in New Jersey, New York, and Massachusetts to back the projects. The projects attracted loud opposition from local tourism...

Now-pardoned Adam Kinzinger said he didn’t want one two weeks ago: The second you take a pardon, it looks like you're guilty of something." ... So is Adam now admitting he is guilt of committing crimes? ... What illegal things did DC and Capitol Police commit .. ? the stench of treason and obscene cronyism. ... He still has the Biden crime family pardons to do ... Nothing admits guilt quite like a preemptive pardon in the final hours of an administration. ... They’ve now set an “immunity” precedent — party members and allies of the president can do whatever...

Hamas terrorists “hold back” the Gazan mob menacing Israeli hostage Doron Steinbrecher at the moment of her release. To all those in the west who have perpetrated the lie of Israeli genocide in Gaza for the past 15 months: look at the pictures of the mob surrounding the three Israel women hostages who were freed today, and see thousands of Gazans who are well-fed, well-groomed and well-dressed. What do you have to say now about the murderous libel you have perpetrated against the Israeli victims of these people, the lie that the Israelis were deliberately starving them, that they were...
