Germany and France have warned Donald Trump against threatening Greenland, after the US president-elect refused to rule out using military force to seize Denmark's autonomous territory. German Chancellor Olaf Scholz said "the principle of the inviolability of borders applies to every country... no matter whether it's a very small one or a very powerful one". French Foreign Minister Jean-Noël Barrot said "there is obviously no question that the European Union would let other nations of the world attack its sovereign borders". On Tuesday, Trump reiterated his desire to acquire Greenland, saying that the Arctic island was "critical" for national and...

Congressional Democrats appeared to greatly enhance their wealth in 2024, despite only earning a yearly salary of $174,000. Democrat stock portfolios in 2024 far outpaced the S&P 500, a study by Unusual Whales found Tuesday, spiking on average 31 percent, seven points higher than the S&P 500 (24 percent) and five points higher than Republican colleagues (26 percent). Unusual Whales estimated each member’s stock portfolio performance by calculating the value of each stock from the beginning of 2024 to the end of 2024. The biggest Democrat offender was Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz (D-FL), whose portfolio spiked 142 percent, the report...

The actor, 77, became emotional as he shared how his wife's niece offered to help after their home was destroyed by the fires that have decimated at least 1,000 structures and left two dead. Woods said his wife's eight-year-old niece 'came out with her little piggy bank for us to rebuild our house.' 'I’m sorry, it’s just one day you’re in the pool and the next its all gone,' Woods added as he teared up. The Oscar winner continued:...

The new study, led by Kirsten Bos and Johannes Krause of the Max Planck Institute for Evolutionary Anthropology, analyzed ancient DNA from skeletal remains in Mexico, Peru, Argentina, and Chile. Using state-of-the-art paleopathology techniques, the researchers reconstructed five genomes of Treponema pallidum, the bacterium responsible for syphilis and its related diseases, yaws and bejel. These genomes date back as far as 9,000 years, predating Columbus's voyages."We've known for some time that syphilis-like infections occurred in the Americas for millennia, but from the lesions alone, it's impossible to fully characterize the disease," explained Casey Kirkpatrick, a postdoctoral researcher at the Max...

Labour MPs tonight voted down a Tory demand for a new national inquiry into grooming gangs. It was voted down by 364 votes to 111. Chris Philp MP, Shadow Home Secretary, hit out at Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer calling and accused the premier of using 'his supermajority in Parliament to block a national inquiry into the rape gangs scandal'. It came amid a furious political row over the issue, which has seen pressure piled on Sir Keir...

Rep. Ralph Norman, R-S.C., introduced an amendment to the Constitution on Wednesday to limit the amount of terms a House member and U.S. senator can serve. Senator Ted Cruz, R-Texas, introduced the Senate version. Under the amendment, a senator could serve two services and a House member could serve three terms. In terms of a special election, the amendment defines a "qualifying term" as one year or more in the House of Representatives and three years or more in the Senate. The amendment would not be retroactive and would apply to terms lawmakers serve after its adoption. Term limit bills...

We’ve been waiting for the updated Porsche 911 Carrera S to arrive for a few months, and although it features a significant jump in power, some loyalists might be disappointed. See, it’s the first 911 Carrera S ever to arrive without a manual gearbox, and that leaves a massive gap in the 911 range for customers who want to row their own gears while going heavy on equipment. Let’s start with the headline figure, 473 horsepower. With new turbochargers and revised intercooling, the new 911 Carrera S is officially as powerful as the old 911 Carrera GTS, but it doesn’t...

VIDEOOne of the "Fact Checkers" (Censors) fired by Facebook is Alan Duke who is now loudly whining about losing his job. However, feel no pity for him. Duke made the mistake of appearing on Bannon's War Room in 2021 and revealed himself as a complete clown who should in no way be the arbiter of what information you should see.

With all the ballots counted and all the races decided, in today’s post, I want to unpack what we already know about how Trump “won” the popular vote.1 I use quotes around the word “won” for two reasons. First, to keep in full view what I wrote earlier in “Is This What Democracy Looks Like?” – that Trump’s candidacy was only viable because the justices he appointed to the Supreme Court: (1) disabled the insurrection clause of the 14th Amendment (which should otherwise have barred him from holding office again) and (2) shielded him from standing trial before the election...

A major scientific review may have found a possible cause of many of the cancers for which genetics, diet and lifestyle cannot explain. After reviewing more than 3,000 studies on microplastics, researchers concluded that these tiny toxins are linked to lung and colon cancer, as well as other lung diseases and infertility. That could be significant because, unlike dozens of cancers that are in decline, colon cancers are rising, especially among young people who are not normally at risk. Likewise, lung cancers not caused by tobacco are also on the rise Microplastics are pieces of plastic smaller than 5mm in...

'It gives Johnston cover, should it become public.' Mike Coffman (R), the mayor of Aurora, Colorado, accused Denver Mayor Mike Johnston (D) of facilitating a covert migrant relocation scheme that led to a severe increase in gang activity in Aurora. In a Monday op-ed for the Denver Gazette, Coffman blamed Johnston for the ongoing immigration and gang crisis, claiming he partnered with two non-governmental organizations to move foreign nationals from Denver, a sanctuary city, to other neighboring towns. Coffman, who has come under fire for his role in allowing illegal aliens to settle in Aurora, defended his decision in November...
