Matthew Graves, the now-resigned U.S. Attorney for the District of Columbia, leaves behind a legacy of corruption, partisanship, and a weaponized Department of Justice (DOJ). His tenure, marked by the targeting of President Trump, his allies, and everyday conservatives, has drawn widespread condemnation. Graves’ resignation comes as the incoming Trump administration, led by Attorney General Pam Bondi, prepares to hold rogue officials accountable for their abuses of power. Graves is not stepping aside with dignity—he’s running from the justice he knows awaits him

CNN contributor Scott Jennings said Monday on CNN’s “Newsnight” that the late President Jimmy Carter was a “terrible president” who saddled up with dictators. Jennings said, “Let me preface my take by offering condolences to the Carter family on his death. He was obviously one of the most unique post-presidents we’ve ever had because he lived so long and he did so much. That having been said, he was a terrible president. He continued, “That’s why he lost in a landslide after his one term, and if it’s possible, I think he was even a worse ex-president because of his...

Former Secret Service agents paint a starkly different picture of President Jimmy Carter's character than the one recently praised by President Joe Biden, author and investigative journalist Ronald Kessler revealed Monday on Newsmax. In an interview on "Finnerty" discussing his book "The First Family Detail," Kessler claimed that Carter was viewed as "the most detested president in modern times" by many Secret Service agents who protected him. Kessler's view opposes Biden's recent praise of Carter. Following Carter's death at 100 years old, Biden told reporters that Carter exemplified "decency." Biden remarked when asked what President-elect Donald Trump could learn from...

Over the course of my lifetime I have watched the role of men taken away. The role of the male as provider, defender, and disciplinarian is no more. It was destroyed by feminists. To clarify “feminist”: In the past when I have criticized feminists older women who had careers asked why I thought women shouldn’t have careers. Their idea is that a feminist is a woman who has a career. But women have always had careers as mothers, homemakers, grandmothers, school teachers, nurses, secretaries, writers, artists, musicians, scientists, and even spies such as Eve Gordon who made during World War...

Here was a man once captaining France at the inaugural FIFA World Cup in 1930. He became a symbol of betrayal, infamy, and unthinkable cruelty as a Nazi collaborator. How does such a transformation occur? What compels someone to exchange glory for infamy? This is the story of a man who squandered greatness for greed and moral decay.

The Biden administration imposed new sanctions on Russian and Iranian entities over their attempts to interfere in the 2024 election, the Treasury and State Departments announced Tuesday. "These actors sought to stoke sociopolitical tensions and undermine our election institutions during the 2024 U.S. general election," Miller said in a statement. The Treasury Department said the Russian entities used generative AI tools to create disinformation to distribute across websites designed to create false corroboration between the stories. The Treasury Department said Russia also manipulated videos to its benefit. Treasury said Iran used social engineering to access people with direct access to...

2024 was so off-the-charts that, when SpaceX accomplished the greatest engineering feat in human history by literally catching in the air the heaviest rocket ship ever launched, leaving it theoretically ready for refueling and re-launch, the world yawned and flipped to a different streaming service. Meanwhile, the malfunctioning Federal Aviation Administration said yes, nice landing and everything, but what about the gopher tortoises? And nobody even blinked that the world’s richest man, top presidential whisperer, and owner of the most influential social media platform made fire come down from heaven unto the earth in the sight of men. Ho hum. This...

Alright, real talk. I know most of you reading this have likely always been relatively bookish. You were probably in your high school’s AP class, loved summer reading assignments, and were thrilled when you got to show off your knowledge of Dickens, Chaucer or Shakespeare. I mean, you’re spending your free time reading a website called Book Riot. But, let’s be honest… You TOTALLY used CliffsNotes at one point. You know it, I know it, and (sorry to inform you of this, but) your teacher knew it as well. Whether it was to supplement your knowledge of a book for...

As we prepare to enter the new year, we’re taking you back to some of The Daily Wire’s best reporting from 2024. This article was originally published on July 22. Elon Musk, the billionaire owner of Tesla and SpaceX, told Dr. Jordan B. Peterson that he was “tricked into” allowing one of his sons to undergo gender procedures, saying his child was “killed” by the “woke mind virus.” Musk sat down with Peterson for an interview that covered a range of topics and was streamed live on DailyWire+ and X. During one segment, Peterson and Musk discussed children being targeted...

Laura Loomer, a staunch ally of President-elect Trump and far-right activist, suggested that some Republicans in Trump’s circle don’t want to cross billionaire Elon Musk. “It sounds like people are scared of crossing the king, the king of the world, Elon Musk, the monarch,” Loomer told longtime conservative broadcaster and pundit Eric Bolling on Monday. “Nobody wants to cross this guy,” she added in the interview, as highlighted by Mediaite. Loomer also suggested during the interview that Musk’s multimillion-dollar campaign that helped propel Trump back into the Oval Office may have intimidated some within the president-elect’s base. “This is the...

The Biden administration on Monday took steps to protect the Ruby Mountains in northeast Nevada from oil, gas and geothermal development for 20 years. The Interior Department said it had approved an application by the U.S. Forest Service to withdraw 264,442 acres of federal lands in the Ruby Mountains from mineral and geothermal leasing. The application's approval removes the lands from development for up to two years and kicks off a 90-day period for the public to comment on the proposed 20-year withdrawal. The proposal comes three weeks before President-elect Donald Trump, who has vowed to step up domestic oil...

Norovirus cases are surging across the country this winter, according to Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) data. There were 91 outbreaks reported by state health departments during the week of Dec. 5, up from 69 in the last week of November, according to the CDC. The highest number for the same period over the last several years was 65 outbreaks. But the data are not comprehensive. Currently, state, local and territorial health departments are not required to report individual cases of norovirus illness to the CDC, and only 15 states participate in the National Outbreak Reporting System.

Three senior Justice Department officials violated internal policies and engaged in “misconduct” when they leaked details about a non-public investigation to the media “days before an election,” the agency’s inspector general revealed Monday. The DOJ’s Office of the Inspector General (OIG), which has been run by Michael Horowitz since 2012, launched a probe after it received a complaint alleging that a “politically motivated” disclosure related to “information about ongoing matters” was made in the runup to an unspecified election. “The OIG investigation found that three then Senior DOJ Officials violated DOJ’s Confidentiality and Media Contacts Policy by leaking to select...

We did it. The greatest comeback in political history, President Donald Trump taking back the office he held four years ago, is historic and nothing short of remarkable. The message it sends is that “Make America Great Again,” the MAGA movement, is here to stay. Long gone are the days of the old GOP establishment, the controlled opposition that had no problem managing the decline of the nation along with the Democrats. Now, Americans are no longer the forgotten men and women. We are ascendant, and we must make sure that our party will continue this path for the foreseeable...

Hundreds of foreigners will be recruited to Australia's navy, army and air force as the federal government looks to Five Eyes allies to fill a shortage. The recruitment drive came as our newest military assets arrived, also from overseas. A trio of supersonic stealth fighters from the US have touched down at Williamtown RAAF Base to complete a fleet of 72 new F-35As. "The platform brings lethality, it brings survivability, and it brings a technology that increases Australia's air combat capability by a huge amount," Air Commodore Peter Robinson, Air Combat Group Commander, said. Now, overseas defence imports will extend...

As with many voters on Maui, Joshua Kamalo thought the race for president wasn't the only big contest on the November ballot. He also was focused on a hotly contested seat for the local governing board. He made sure to return his ballot in the virtually all vote-by-mail state early, doing so two weeks before Election Day. A week later, he received a letter telling him the county couldn’t verify his signature on the return envelope, jeopardizing his vote. And he wasn't the only one. Two other people at the biodiesel company where he works also had their ballots rejected,...

The passing of former United States President Jimmy Carter was met with mixed reactions in China and Taiwan. Chinese President Xi Jinping praised him for helping to establish diplomatic ties between Beijing and Washington while some in Taiwan remain critical of his decision to sever official ties with the island to this day.
