A new report from CNN has revealed that the suspected shooter of UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson, Luigi Mangione, told a Pennsylvania judge during his arraignment on weapons charges that $8,000 in USD and $2,000 in foreign currency was planted on him. While standing before a judge at the Blair County Courthouse in Hollidaysburg, Pennsylvania, the judge read the entire criminal complaint against Mangione after he noted that no one had read the complaint to him since he was arrested. While arguing why Mangione should be denied bail, prosecutors stated that police found $8,000 in US cash and $2,000 in foreign...

A New York Black Lives Matter leader has called for “black vigilantes” to retaliate following Daniel Penny’s acquittal on Monday. Penny, a 26-year-old former Marine, faced charges of second-degree manslaughter and negligent homicide in connection with the 2023 death of Jordan Neely on a New York City subway after Neely was threatening passengers. "Just like everybody else has vigilantes, we need some black vigilantes,” New York BLM co-founder Hank Newsome said in the wake of the verdict. "People want to jump up and choke us and kill us for being loud. How about we do the same when they attempt...

The Vatican has unveiled its 2024 Christmas display—which met with Pope Francis’s approval—and it deliberately advances the leftist/Muslim narrative that Jesus was a “Palestinian.” This is a historical rewrite of the worst kind and gives fuel to the worst people. History is not complicated: The Bible says—and nothing contradicts it—that around the early 17th century B.C., the Israelites settled in the Land of Canaan, which became the Nation of Israel. Around the year 1,000 B.C., King David defeated the Philistines, who were the Israelite’s ancient enemies. For the next slightly more than 400 years, whether as a single nation or...

Four years after Huntington Beach came to symbolize resistance to California’s pandemic-era mandates, “Surf City USA’s” shift toward staunch conservatism became complete last week, after three new members of the city council were sworn in on Tuesday. Now, every seat on the seven-person council is filled by a Republican, and the members celebrated the milestone on Tuesday by donning red caps that said “Make Huntington Beach Great Again,” an homage to the famous “Make America Great Again” hats popularized by President-elect Donald Trump. The numbers “7-0” were emblazoned on the caps’ right side. It’s a supermajority that Councilmember Tony Strickland...

Good riddance! FBI Director Christopher Wray is preparing to resign as President Trump moves forward with nominee Kash Patel. Republican Senator Chuck Grassley (IA) sent Christopher Wray a blistering letter on Monday and told him and his deputy Paul Abbate to step down for the good of the country. “For the good of the country, it’s time for you and your deputy to move on to the next chapter in your lives,” Mr. Grassley wrote in the letter to Wray, according to The Washington Times. “I therefore must express my vote of no confidence in your continued leadership of the...

Dec. 9 (UPI) -- A California highway was left in a sweet and sticky state after a truck fire caused the roadway to become covered in more than 30,000 pounds of melted chocolate. The California Highway Patrol said firefighters were summoned to the scene on westbound Interstate 580, near Grant Line Road in the Dublin area. Crews were able to extinguish the flames engulfing the truck, but firefighters soon discovered the vehicle's cargo -- 30,000-40,000 pounds of chocolate -- had melted and was spreading across the road. The resulting clean-up operation lasted for several hours. Initial investigations indicated the cause...

The Lebanese Al-Mayadeen network, which is affiliated with Hezbollah, reported early Tuesday morning that Israeli tanks are now positioned approximately 20 kilometers from the Syrian capital of Damascus. Reports also indicated the IDF has taken control of nine villages in the southern outskirts of Damascus, near the border with Lebanon. At the same time, there were reports of extensive strikes in the Damascus area. Earlier, Syrian media outlets reported Israeli strikes on the Al-Shuairat military airport, east of Homs, and on Syrian army targets in the provinces of Raqqa and Al-Hasakah. The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, an opposition organization...

It’s unclear if this falls under the category of unsportsmanlike conduct, but what a Giants player allegedly did to distract the opposing team on Sunday is on another level. OnlyFans model Ava Louise claims she was gifted free tickets to the Giants-Saints game at MetLife Stadium on Sunday, but only if she flashed the Saints to distract them. The unnamed player requested that he remain unidentified to prevent being “fined” or “fired.” Louise shared screenshots from her OnlyFane page, which reportedly show the text of a conversation between her and the unnamed Giants player. Louise captioned the post with a...

I have known of this cycle for about 20 years. MA health provides a motorized WC, which he is eager to get out with - if/when he can. PCA pay is about $20 an hour, with 3 shifts needed, but only pays for 2 hours for overnight shift, under the premise that the PCA only actually works for about that time (try that with guards). He is presently in a nursing home, which one cannot leave from, and sometimes he is not turned as often as is needed for his wounds to heal. He cannot even turn over at night....

A bacterium found in the wound microbiome can accelerate healing, highlighting the potential for microbiota-based wound therapies. Skin wounds that fail to heal in a normal timeframe are considered to be chronic, and an estimated two percent of the global population will experience a chronic wound in their lifetime.1 In addition to severe pain, individuals with chronic wounds can face mental health problems due to the persistent nature of the condition and the risk of recurrence. This significantly affects their quality of life, highlighting the need for effective treatments. Given this unmet clinical need, researchers have been exploring a new...

I offered my Monday morning analysis on what happened in Syria and what it means for the region, first with Judge Napolitano and later, with Nima. The Judge also interviewed Alastair Crooke, Scott Ritter, Ray McGovern, Pepe Escobar and Jeffrey Sachs. All had interesting perspectives and are worth investing the time to watch.I want to share with you a fascinating Russian perspective from esteemed war correspondent, Marat Khairullin:Syria is important. No matter how bitter it is to realize this. But there is such a maxim, “no matter how hard the failure is, if you have learned from it, then it...

The Pasco County Sheriff’s Office has admitted in a settlement agreement made public on Wednesday that its policy of keeping a list of people considered likely to commit future crimes and sending deputies to their homes violated the U.S. Constitution. As part of the settlement, the office will pay $105,000 to four Pasco County residents who were targeted by the law enforcement agency and is barred from implementing any similar program in the future. The program, dubbed “Intelligent Led Policing” by the Sheriff’s Office and “predictive policing” by its critics, first came to light in a series of reports by...

~The FReeper Canteen Presents~National Lager Day!National Lager Day on December 10th raises a glass to the third most popular beverage after water and tea. While lager is typically characterized as a light, summer beer, every season deserves to be celebrated with a few of your favorite beers.Lagers are distinguished from other beers by using a cold-conditioning process.
