The Lebanese Al-Mayadeen network, which is affiliated with Hezbollah, reported early Tuesday morning that Israeli tanks are now positioned approximately 20 kilometers from the Syrian capital of Damascus. Reports also indicated the IDF has taken control of nine villages in the southern outskirts of Damascus, near the border with Lebanon. At the same time, there were reports of extensive strikes in the Damascus area.
Earlier, Syrian media outlets reported Israeli strikes on the Al-Shuairat military airport, east of Homs, and on Syrian army targets in the provinces of Raqqa and Al-Hasakah. The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, an opposition organization based in Britain, stated earlier that Israel had struck more than 250 targets across Syria in less than 48 hours, following the collapse of Syrian President Bashar Al-Assad's regime.
Sources told Fox News on Monday evening that Israel and the US are taking advantage of the fact that Russian fighter jets that had been deployed to Syria are grounded.

12.5 miles................
If true I wonder if it is a clean up operation to take out Iranian and hezbollah weapons dumps and Syrian chemical stockpiles.
It’s just a ruck march away….
Distance from Hillcrest park, Fullerton to Santa Ana Courthouse. 30 minute drive on surface streets. The US/Israel is not wasting time carving up Syria
The Bible says Damascus will be destroyed completely.
Perhaps Israel can move all the Gaza residents to Damascus before that happens.
And the jihadis want Dabiq.
Just for context, Damascus is only 57 km from the Israeli border.
Regular Syrian Army depots were the target.
Plus simply to cut off attack routes.
They’ve been blowing up stuff all over Syria to keep it out of worse hands
.
Isaiah 17
17 The special word about Damascus: “See, Damascus will no longer be a city. It will be destroyed and laid waste. 2 The cities of Aroer are left empty. They will be for the flocks to lie down in, and no one will make them afraid. 3 The strong city will be gone from Ephraim. Damascus will no longer rule. And those of Syria who are left alive will be like the shining-greatness of the sons of Israel,” says the Lord of All.
Dang, Syria had mustard gas, chlorine gas and sarin(nerve agent). If they blow up canisters, some it could escape into the air-not a good place to be right now.
I’ve been to the Golan Heights and viewed Syria from one of their old bunkers. Damascus could be seen far away.
I am not sure they really ever had all that Gas.
ISIS fantasies of an apocalyptic showdown in Dabiq,Syria.
Well, perhaps, but they had it in 2012

What scripture is that? Why?

I remember that deal but I thought it was proven not to have been the Syrians that used gas on anyone.
