We don't yet know if the hump disappeared after childhood. None of the previously discovered mummies had a hump. Image credit: Tiberio via Wikimedia Commons (public domain) For the first time ever, researchers have uncovered the mummified remains of a woolly rhinoceros with a big old hump on the back of its neck. Curiously absent in all other known specimens of the Ice Age megafauna, this fatty bulge attests to the remarkable accuracy of ancient cave paintings depicting rhinos with hunched backs. More than 35,000 years ago, prehistoric artists decorated the walls of the Chauvet Cave in France with stunningly...

In 1981, beachgoers at Marina Beach were surprised to spot hang glider Patty Butler soaring through the skies with her pet cat, Puddy. Originally from New Jersey, Butler, a professional ice skater turned glider, said Puddy was confused at first but soon settled in. "People are pretty amazed," she said. "They don’t notice him until I land." Butler crafted a custom papoose so Puddy could experience the thrill of flying safely right on her back. The sight of a cat gliding over the ocean with his owner was enough to make anyone do a double-take, proving that flying isn’t just...

The long-awaited arrival of ballots from Arizona’s Maricopa County has brought good news to Kari Lake, the firebrand U.S. Senate candidate still in the running against Democratic Rep. Ruben Gallego (D-AZ). The Lake campaign on Thursday night revealed that the Republican picked up 57.39% of the nearly 70,000-ballot drop from Maricopa County. The result puts her a hair’s width of overtaking Gallego’s 0.7% lead; he holds a 43,846-vote lead with over 75% of the vote counted, according to NBC News. A third-party candidate, Eduardo Quintana, managed to siphon away more than that, or 53,596 votes.

The Deep State’s go-to guy is scrambling to get back into President Trump’s good graces. Bill Barr, one of the most disloyal AGs on record, is suddenly back—and wow, has he changed his tune? ... ... Nothing scares these unelected bureaucrats more than seeing their psyops, schemes, and propaganda backfire, forcing them to realize, “Crap, we’ve lost power.” You can see it clearly in Barr’s new calls for the regime to drop all charges—a statement that reads like a white flag blowing in the wind. .

President Donald Trump has confirmed he plans to make good on his promise to enact mass deportations of America’s massive illegal alien population. Speaking with NBC News, Trump said he was faced with “no choice” but to start deporting the over 10 million illegal aliens who have entered the country since the Biden regime stole the 2020 presidential election and seized the White House. “We obviously have to make the border strong and powerful and, and we have to — at the same time, we want people to come into our country,” he said. “And you know, I’m not somebody...

It would appear Team Biden and Team Harris have moved on from blaming white men, white women, black men, black women, straight men, straight women, and everyone else under the son to blaming one another. Note, we've known for a long while now that there is no love lost between the two campaigns and c'mon, everyone noticed how almost gleeful Biden appeared yesterday when he spoke about Trump's win. Keep in mind, Kamala was more than happy to take Biden's place after the very powerful Democrats in their party (Pelosi, Obama, and Clooney) decided to kick him off for being...

.. ...SHASTA COUNTY, Calif. — A local meeting turned contentious as discussions centered on alleged issues with Runbeck voting systems during election night. Supervisor Jones claimed there were numerous errors in the duplication process, though no evidence was presented. "Unfortunately from the first time that I watched the duplication process there were a high number of errors," Jones said. "And what was happening was that, on the original, marks were made by the voter and not all the time did those marks get reproduced on the separate ballot." ...

Election 2024 is now mostly over. The Blue Team is trying to steal the down ballot races, and we need to get the celebratory marching band off the field to stop this stealth, mini, “Big Steal.” Presuming we stop the down ballot steal; the scope and scale of President-Elect Trump’s victory is decisive. Trump won the popular vote, the electoral college and smashed the Blue Wall of defense in Pennsylvania, Michigan, and Wisconsin. Vice President Harris has conceded, and President Biden proffered a peaceful transition and showed his disappointment at Harris’s loss with a broad smile at his news conference....

Washington — The federal district judge overseeing the case against President-elect Donald Trump related to the 2020 election agreed to forego current deadlines to allow special counsel Jack Smith and his team more time to assess the "unprecedented circumstance" arising out of his election Tuesday to serve a second term in the White House. Smith asked U.S. District Judge Tanya Chutkan in a one-paragraph filing for additional time to "determine the appropriate course going forward consistent with Department of Justice policy." He said prosecutors will provide more information to the court by Dec. 2. Chutkan quickly granted Smith's request and...

South Carolina officials are actively searching for over 40 primates that escaped a facility Wednesday. According to the Yemassee Police Department in South Carolina, 43 Rhesus macaque primates escaped the Alpha Genesis Primate Research Center on Castle Hall Road around 1 p.m. The website says the facility provides nonhuman primate products and global bio-research services. A spokesperson for Alpha Genesis said the macaques are described as very young females, weighing about six to seven pounds. Officials said the monkeys have never been used for testing due to their young age and size and are too young to carry disease. Currently,...

Billionaire Elon Musk joined Donald Trump in the president-elect’s phone conversation with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky this week, a new report says. Zelensky — who wanted to talk about Trump’s victory and the future of US-Ukrainian relations amid the ongoing war with Russia — was surprised to learn that Musk was on the line with Trump when the call began Wednesday, Axios reported, citing officials familiar with the situation. Zelensky later issued a statement describing his call with Trump as “excellent” and congratulating the former president for his “historic landslide victory. “We agreed to maintain close dialogue and advance our...

EL PASO, TEXAS – U.S. Customs and Border Protection officers working at the El Paso port of entry seized 11,100 rounds of 7.62 ammunition November 5, 2024. The ammunition was concealed in the quarter panels of a vehicle crossing the Bridge of the Americas (BOTA) international crossing. “The volume of this seizure is substantial,” said CBP El Paso Director of Field Operations Hector Mancha. “To put it in perspective CBP officers working at El Paso area ports seized 15,678 rounds of ammunition in all of fiscal year 2021, 7,224 rounds in fiscal year 2022 and 11,205 rounds in fiscal year...

In December 2019, I traveled to Hong Kong, where a heavy unease hung in the air. For months, young people had taken to the streets to protest the encroachment of the Chinese Communist Party on what was supposed to be a self-governing, democratic system. On walls they’d scrawled: “Save Hong Kong! If we burn you burn with us!” All the protesters I spoke to knew their movement would fail; it was a last assertion of democratic identity before it was extinguished by a new order which saw democracy as the enemy within. I met with a government official preparing to...

Donald Trump’s victory in the U.S. presidential election was big news across Africa, although much of the news coverage was not jubilant. U.S. influence in Africa collapsed under President Joe Biden and many Africans profess to admire Trump’s style, but some resent his tough talk about African leaders or worry that his trade policies could hurt their economies. African leaders mostly offered warm congratulations to Trump, with an especially effusive Kenyan President William Ruto (pictured) praising Trump’s “visionary, bold, and innovative leadership.” Nigeria’s Bola Tinubu and South Africa’s Cyril Ramaphosa looked forward to “beneficial” relations with the second Trump administration.

American citizens who in recent years raised questions about possible voter fraud in the 2020 election were censored, deplatformed, and stigmatized. The results of the 2024 election appear, however, to have vindicated such skeptics, at least in their understanding that there was something anomalous about the number of votes Joe Biden supposedly received. The official story regarding the 2020 election is that President Donald Trump received 74.2 million votes and Biden received 81.2 million votes — a combined total of over 155 million votes. According to Decision Desk HQ's latest count, Trump secured over 73.2 million votes in Tuesday's election...
