The Israeli strikes on Iran hit several of Tehran’s most advanced air defenses, exposing Iran’s vulnerability to future attacks as the two enemies engage in a new era of direct confrontation. During the hourslong attack early Saturday, Israeli warplanes struck Iranian military assets in three provinces, including three Russian-supplied aerial defense systems known as S-300, according to U.S. and Israeli officials. A fourth aerial defense system was also hit. An Israeli official added that all the air-defense systems were rendered unusable.

Actor and comedian Billy Eichner lashed out on Instagram over the current state of the presidential race, declaring that it’s "time to f---ing panic" over former President Trump’s momentum in the polls. Eichner, who starred in Disney’s live-action "The Lion King," posted a video to the social media site Thursday with a desperate message for liberals to get out and vote because he doesn’t "like the vibe" of this election season. "Everyone has to get in the game here. We have two weeks. We can’t let what happened with Hillary [Clinton] in 2016 happen again," Eichner said, elsewhere calling Trump...

Emperor of Rome (244-249), the son of an Arab sheik, born in Bosra. He rose to be an influential officer of the Roman army. In 243 the Emperor Gordianus III was at war with Persia; the administration of the army and the empire were directed with great success by his father-in-law Timesitheus. Timesitheus, however, died in 243 and the helpless Gordianus, a minor, appointed Marcus Julius Philippus as his successor. By causing a scarcity of provisions Philip increased the exasperation of the soldiers against the emperor and they proclaimed Philip emperor. Philip now had Gordianus secretly executed. However, as he...

Auschwitz survivor Jerry Warstki, 94, denounces Kamala Harris in a new Trump campaign video for endorsing claims that former president is a “fascist” akin to Nazi dictator Adolf Hitler. “I know more about Hitler than Kamala will ever know in a thousand lifetimes,” he says.

Joe Biden has complained that Elon Musk broke U.S. immigration laws nearly 30 years ago. Over the weekend, The Washington Post published a hit piece complaining that when Musk arrived in the United States in 1995, he was supposed to be on a student visa. However, Musk never actually enrolled in his graduate program and instead focused on developing Zip2, a software company that he eventually sold for $300 million.

Is this Millennial generation out of their minds or what?! I have tried hard to do my best, I've been generous. My son married a paranoid narcissist woman who suffered from pretty bad childhood abuse. Father ran out on her, stepfathers/mother's boyfriends abused her. She left home at 16 to escape it. I have offered to pay for her to get therapy. Please be gentle, I'm doing all I can to help my grandchildren, and I worry about their mental health

CLAIM: The Trump rally in Madison Square Garden, Manhattan, is a reenactment of a Nazi rally from the 1930s. VERDICT: FALSE. The claim is so absurd as to be disqualifying, and suggests a desperate, and losing, campaign. Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz (D), speaking to supporters in Las Vegas, Nevada, claimed Sunday that former President Donald Trump’s rally at Madison Square Garden was an attempt to reenact a Nazi rally held there in the 1930s.

New Mexico is on the verge of living a real, not imagined, dystopia of one-party rule. The one party is the radical progressive Democrats. The New Mexico House and Senate already have overwhelming majorities of these progressives — many hand-picked and endorsed by my opponent, Martin Heinrich. A dystopia is the opposite of a utopia. In a dystopia, one party rules; the citizens chant slogans, don’t think and don’t connect the dots regarding actions and consequences. It is a society where there is no common sense. Progressives want to ban fracking. Martin Heinrich doesn’t think public lands should be used...

It’s been called the “red mirage” or the “blue shift.” It’s the recent phenomenon by which an apparent Republican lead early after polls close on election night is erased by the counting of mail-in ballots later in the evening or in the days after Election Day. Former President Donald Trump has pointed to the red mirage to back up his baseless allegations of election fraud, when in fact it has been a function of the rise of mail-in voting and the often-peculiar rules about when those ballots can be counted. What happened in 2020? When most Americans went to bed...

The parents of a Utah woman accused of murdering her husband after he confronted her about an affair have been arrested for allegedly helping her clean up the crime scene. Thomas Ray Gledhill, 71, and Rosalie Christianson Gledhill, 67, were arrested Thursday on four felony counts of first-degree obstruction of justice, ABC4 reported. The couple allegedly helped their daughter, Jennifer Gledhill, to clean her home after she supposedly fatally shot her husband, Matthew Johnson, on Sept. 21, the outlet said. Witnesses placed the elder Gledhills at their daughter’s home over a five-hour period around the time of the killing, police...

Not only have polls and prediction markets tilted recently toward Donald Trump winning the presidential election, they are also pointing to Republicans flipping the Senate and retaining control of the House. A GOP sweep would give Trump a freer hand to enact his agenda. While U.S. presidents have broad authority on immigration and tariffs, changes to tax and spending policies would require congressional approval. The latest polling analysis from 538 gave Trump a 53-in-100 chance of winning the election versus 47 out of 100 for Kamala Harris. It also gave Republicans an 87-in-100 chance of taking the Senate majority away...

(SAN FRANCISCO) – Teamsters are calling on the San Francisco Ethics Commission to investigate Waymo, the autonomous vehicle (AV) subsidiary of Google, after several of the company’s employees illegally failed to register as lobbyists for meetings with San Francisco International Airport (SFO) officials. Waymo was pressuring the officials for access so their driverless cars could “map” the airport. “These companies know that their products are unpopular, unsafe, and bad for working families, so they’re trying to steamroll policymakers and the public by putting AVs on the road before anyone has a chance to find out just how dangerous they are,”...

Explanation: What is the most spook-tacular nebula in the galaxy? One contender is LDN 43, which bears an astonishing resemblance to a vast cosmic bat flying amongst the stars on a dark Halloween night. Located about 1400 light years away in the constellation Ophiuchus, this molecular cloud is dense enough to block light not only from background stars, but from wisps of gas lit up by the nearby reflection nebula LBN 7. Far from being a harbinger of death, this 12-light year-long filament of gas and dust is actually a stellar nursery. Glowing with eerie light, the bat is lit...

Israel’s retaliatory attack on Iran’s missile facilities and air defenses on Saturday is a major win for the West — and a major setback for the Iranian regime, as well as for Russia and China, which back it. Though Iran officially minimized the impact of the attack, it severely damaged Iran’s ability to threaten its neighbors, and left it virtually defenseless in future. It also boosted a pro-Western alliance against the “Axis of Resistance” propped up by Moscow and Beijing.

According to local media reports, witnesses saw people dressed in dark clothing fleeing in a black car towards a nearby highway. During the heist, thieves stole 130,000 euros in cash. They also caused an estimated half a million euros worth of collateral damage, according to...

VIDEOWith only NINE days left until what Jake Tapper fears will be the Trumpocalypse, his sheer desperation caused poor Jake to drop any pretense of being a journalist and attempted not an interview but a deranged star chamber interrogation of J.D. Vance. Note the stark contrast of Tapper shouting like a lunatic at Vance with his calm demeanor while calmly interviewing Liz Cheney immediately afterwards. Mark down Jake Tapper as perhaps needing to be strapped down to a gurney on the evening of November 5 as he screams incoherently about what a cruel world it is just before a leather...
