A Swiss tourist was murdered outside a cafe in Algeria’s Djanet in early October by a man who screamed “Allahu Akbar” and “long live Palestine,” according to international media reports on Thursday.
The attacker slit the woman’s throat, according to RTS, but she did not die instantly.
The Swiss woman did not survive the wounds she sustained during the attack, which happened in front of her three children, according to the Daily Mail. She reportedly died on October 11.

Why would anyone visit Algeria as a tourist? Have they visited all the other Muslim shithole countries too?

A couple Swedish coeds on a backpacking tour of Algeria had the same thing happen to them a couple years ago. Both beheaded alive and screaming on camera and the video was pretty widely circulated.
Not good.
Last I heard, the culprits were expected to get very minimal sentences due to “mental instability”.
A lot of Europeans think of those countries as simply exotic vacation destinations.
Who in their right mind goes to Algeria for vacation?! It’s been a sh*thole since the French left sixty years ago.
She probably just wanted to give her kids the "real Muslim experience".
Well, they certainly got that!! To their everlasting trauma.

Very possibly a sex tourist, but she didn’t deserve what she got.
To me its kind of like playing around the edge of the Grand Canyon. Do stupid things win stupid prizes.
Being a solo white female tourist in Algeria is an incredibly stupid thing to do. More so with your kids.
