In anticipation of rioting or even a second civil war following the upcoming election, the Department of Defense (DoD) is preliminarily gutting the Posse Comitatus Act of 1878 to allow for the U.S. military to execute law, i.e., martial law, on American soil. As it was written, Posse Comitatus does not allow for any constitutional exceptions. The U.S. military is not supposed to be involved with law enforcement activities in any capacity whatsoever, and yet the Congress-passed bill has been so watered down over the past 50 years or so that armed soldiers could soon become commonplace on the streets...

Unveiled by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy earlier this week, Kyiv´s so-called “victory plan” hopes to compel Russia to end its invasion of Ukraine through negotiations. The proposal is being considered by Ukraine´s Western partners, whose help is vital for Kyiv to resist its bigger neighbor. A key element would be a formal invitation into NATO, which...

I was sitting beside a lake recently, admiring the beautiful autumn sunset and thanking God for the serenity of that place, the beauty of His creation and the peace in that tiny part of the world I was sitting in. It was still warm out for this time of year in Wisconsin; an “Indian summer,” but the falling leaves will soon give way to falling snow. And I believe the Holy Spirit spoke a single, simple word to me: “Remember.” “Remember this time of serenity, beauty and peace in this place, because it won’t always be this way, and things...

Europe’s electricity has become so expensive that trade unions have started warning of the threat of deindustrialization. Deepening Europe’s crisis, the Biden administration has announced a pause in liquefied natural gas export license approvals. Copied After years of misguided energy policies, Europe’s electricity has become so expensive that trade unions have started warning of the threat of deindustrialization. The warning will hopefully prove a salutary one for the U.S., which is now headed down the same...

**SNIP** The first big blunder for Harris and her team was taking the Keystone State for granted. “Uncle Joe” is from Scranton and loves to tell stories about his family’s days there. That has helped secure thousands of blue Democratic votes in an increasingly red northeastern Pennsylvania. Take away Biden, and San Francisco Harris has little chance of keeping those voters. Add to it that for three decades, voters in Philadelphia and its suburbs saw Biden as our “third senator.” He showed up at the Navy Yard, at ballgames, at ribbon cuttings — you name it. In 2020, when the...

"Shout your own name for a minute. That's what I'm talking about. Because its about you, its about your families, its about you. That's what I'm talking about," Harris said to cheering supporters. The campaigns have been trading barbs back-and-forth in the closing days of the election cycle, with Harris' X campaign account accusing Trump of falling asleep at a town hall event earlier Friday.

House Democrats’ campaign arm sued the Federal Election Commission (FEC) on Thursday to block Republicans from using a campaign finance strategy that Democratic committees employ. The Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee (DCCC) alleges in its lawsuit that Republican joint fundraising committees are exploiting a campaign finance loophole by running attack ads, which they are prohibited from doing, and simply categorizing them as fundraising ads, which are allowed, Axios reported. A joint fundraising committee formed by the DCCC and Democratic Michigan Senate nominee Elisa Slotkin, however, is running an attack ad against Republican Michigan Senate nominee Mike Rogers that seemingly uses the...

DailyMail.com reported that Emhoff impregnated the family's nanny while married to his first wife, allegedly slapped an ex-girlfriend at the Cannes Film Festival and was 'inappropriate' and 'misogynistic' at work. During last week's Overtime segment, Maher pointed to this reporting and asked his panelists if the liberal media would keep ignoring it.
