Former President Trump held a rally in the Detroit area, and he invited a local legend to the stage.
The three-time Republican presidential nominee was at Huntington Place in downtown Detroit, and, before he took the stage, he took a photo with boxing legend Thomas “Hitman” Hearns, a Detroit native.
Trump then spotted Hearns in the audience and invited him to the stage.
“I won so much money betting on this guy. … Some of the greatest fights in history,” Trump said.
“One of the greatest fights of all time, and man, I’ll tell you what, he was something special.”
Hearns eventually joined Trump on the stage and seemed in disbelief.
“Hearing those nice words coming from you, man, this can’t be real. … Hearing it come from you, I’m very excited. I want to fight now.”

Other than a few years at Howard University Kamala never lived the black culture. Even then I bet she isolated herself. She is a fake just like Obama. How do the Democrats find these puppets.

Hearns/Hagler were some great fights. HOORAY Tommy Hearns!
Awesome. I was always a Hagler fan but Hitman Hearns is a boxing legend, too.
Kinda surprised Mr. Trump recognized him.
I have some family in Detroit who despise Trump. We know Tommy and several who were active in amateur boxing back in the 1980s. I cannot wait to call certain family members and say “Guess who just enthusiastically endorsed Donald Trump!
Everyone’s talking about it!”
Sometimes, it seems Trump has got more energy than the Sun.
Me, going through just one week of his typical schedule, on or off campaign, would be impossible.
After 3 days, I’d be on a stretcher, in a straitjacket.
Seems like most democrats are voting against Trump and not for the good of the country.
Most conservative people who are not voting say Trump is not Christian enough.
I guess people think this is a popularity contest and not good against evil.
This country is screwed.
Trump will only postpone it.
Your last 2 lines “this country is screwed. Trump would only postpone it”, may indeed be true, baring world events, calamities included, that may bring us together as a people for a couple more generations. World events, such as WW3.
I have to remember, no empire lasts forever, at least not without morphing several different times and ways.
Rome, Britannia, Portugal used to be a huge deal, due to trade advantages, now look at it. A small, faded spot on a map, good for wealthy tourists to hide from the world for a while. I was fortunate to be in America during its best and most influential years.
They ran him out of his New York home, didn’t they?
As a rule he doesn’t sleep on the plane, unless Thus Guy is mistaken.
In other words, and this is kind of a rhetorical question, but where and when does he ever sleep?
“I was fortunate to be in America during its best and most influential years.”
Ugh...past tense hits different.
>>This country is screwed.
Trump will only postpone it.<<
You’re absolutely right, unfortunately.
It is good v evil. Those Christians who consider Trump is not Christian enough fall to Satan’s twisted logic that a candidate has to have Jesus’ quality to be worth voting for.

“As a rule he doesn’t sleep on the plane”
Someone on Newsmax yesterday said Trump told him in no uncertain terms, “I don’t take naps!”
I to am very appreciative of living in America at this time.
I give all the credit to my ancestors who sacrificed so much to get us here.
That makes it very difficult watching the downfall.
Knowing they suffered so much.
