NIFB pastor Steven Anderson, who was recently involuntarily committed to a mental institution for 24 hours, has shared details of the incident, calling it “horrific” and straight “evil.” The controversial Arizona pastor from Faithful Word Baptist Church in Tempe, AZ, has been under fire these past few weeks after his four oldest children started speaking out publicly against the firebrand KJV-Onlyist, alleging vicious instances of domestic abuse against their mother, as well as physical and psychological abuse against themselves and their siblings, as can be seen in the articles below. During his Sunday sermon, Anderson shared what the experience was...

Republican Vice-Presidential candidate JD Vance has slammed ABC News host Martha Raddatz during an interview on Sunday. Vance and Raddatz discussed the influx of illegal migrants and Venezuelan gang members who took over apartment buildings in Aurora, Colorado. Of the migrants arrested back in September, many of them had possible connections to Tren de Aragua (TdA), a violent Venezuelan migrant gang. The host pressed Vance on comments he and former US president Donald Trump made about migrant gangs during a campaign rally. “I’m going to stop you because I know exactly what happened. I’m going to stop you. The incidents...

Quotation from Page 2 of the book Bureaucracy by Ludwig von Mises (preeminent leader of the Austrian School of Economics) Paperback edition by Important Books 2012. Available in the bookstore at Mises.org https://store.mises.org/Bureaucracy-Paperback-P11312.aspx -------------------- An American, asked to specify his complaints about the evils of progressing bureaucratization, might say something like this: “Our traditional American system of government was based on the separation of the legislative, the executive, and the judicial powers and on a fair division of jurisdiction between the Union and the States. The legislators, the most important executives, and many of the judges were chosen by election....

Francis Takes Revenge on the (True) AfricansFrancis has often expressed his alleged "love for the peripheries", writes Carlos Esteban on InfoVaticana.com (10 October). But this love does not include the peripheries of black Africa, perhaps because the continent has rejected Francis' homosexual manifesto "Fidicia supplicans".For Esteban, it is a "striking anomaly" that Cameroon, with 4 million Catholics, a quarter of the population, has more than 1,200 priests and as many seminarians in formation, but not a single prelate in the College of Cardinals.Nor does fertile Benin, with its three million Catholics, almost eight hundred priests and more than a thousand nuns.Not...

In a seismic shift, Republicans overtook Democrats in voter registration in Orange County’s highly competitive 47th district, boosting Scott Baugh. The flip is part of a larger trend of Republican gains across competitive California races. Republicans in Orange County — and across the state — have been making inroads this election cycle with registering voters. That shift to the red has been seen across the state as well, according to recent research from the Public Policy Institute of California, a nonpartisan think tank. PPIC found that Democrats are losing younger voters, as well as Latino, Black and Asian American voters....

California has recently experienced a subtle yet significant shift in its political landscape. Recent voter registration data reveals a reddening of the Golden State, with Republican registration increasing compared to the 2022 election, while both Democratic and No Party Preference—or independent—registrations have declined. This redder tinge is largely driven by voters switching from other parties to Republican, and it marks a departure from the broader pattern of independent voters moving to Democratic registration. A closer look reveals some surprising trends, particularly among core Democratic constituencies such as Latinos, Blacks, and young people. (See our interactive feature for detailed registration data...

What’s up everyone! In today’s video, I’m sharing my thoughts on President Obama’s "unacceptable" lecture in Pittsburgh. As a Black man, I found his comments on racial justice and unity to be out of touch with the real struggles we face. Question, why are black men being lectured by Obama? Instead of addressing the deeper issues, he offered a surface-level and downright shallow perspective.

Two members of a North Texas school board that voted to remove a superintendent who objected to a same-sex "kiss" during a school play belong to the same LGBT-affirming denominational church. A recent investigation commissioned by the Sherman ISD Board of Trustees revealed that former Superintendent Tyson Bennett intervened in the casting of the high school musical "Oklahoma!" with the intent to prevent same-sex kissing. This intervention came to light after a female student who identifies as a male was removed from her leading male role in the production last November, a decision that sparked a national conversation surrounding gay,...

SOUTHLAKE — New developments have emerged in the class-action lawsuit filed against Southlake-based Gateway Church last week. The lawsuit filed Friday demands Gateway refund donations, known as tithes, made by church members. Lawyers in the class-action suit report significantly more Gateway members are now seeking refunds of their tithes. "This case is about two things. It's about fraud and breach of contract," said Micha Dortch, lead legal counsel for the class-action suit. "To not let us see the books and to bring this new defense of 'it's not legal to return the money,' it's just absurd." The lawsuit is the...

Last week on “The View,” co-host Whoopi Goldberg attempted to make a moral appeal to Christians and Catholics to remind them of what she viewed as Jesus’ thoughts on caring for women who want to end the lives of their preborn children by abortion — and naturally, the sentiment is that the only way to care for women seeking abortion is to essentially forget about the fact that a preborn human is killed by abortion. These comments came about after the co-hosts discussed Melania Trump’s statements regarding her own support for abortion access. Co-host Sunny Hostin then remarked that although...

This year is shaping up to be one of the most legislatively successful in U.S. sound money history. Money Metals Exchange was instrumental in achieving six new sound money victories... as well as one key defensive win. The upshot is that sound money legislation, carefully crafted and propelled by grassroots enthusiasm, is proving to be both practical and achievable. The seven legislative successes, coming on the heels of five in 2023, range from new sales tax and income tax exemptions to policies that undermine the Federal Reserve's problematic monopoly on money. Here's the rundown... Sales Taxes on Gold & Silver...

Maternal Abortion Injuries Continue in Illinois and Other States Where Abortion Rates Increase Flossmoor, Illinois – Once again the myth of “safe abortion” has been proven to be just a myth. On August 20, yet another woman was rushed to the emergency room after an abortion procedure – an occurrence which comes as no surprise in Illinois, a state which has become an abortion destination. The mother underwent an abortion at Planned Parenthood in Flossmoor and sadly joined the list of many women who have become victims of the abortion cartel’s greed. An employee from Planned Parenthood called 911 to...

GoldMoney research director Alasdair Macleod, speaking three weeks ago to a conference sponsored by Southbank Investment Research in London, warned that inflation is far from finished and that the decline and fall of the U.S. dollar and the rise of gold will continue as much of the rest of the world looks for new ways of conducting international trade. His remarks were 18 minutes long and can be viewed at Vimeo here: https://vimeo.com/1017577311/aaaf32f856

When Mackenna Greene took the abortion pill to end the life of her unborn daughter, she immediately knew she had made the wrong choice. “I’ll admit that in the days leading up to it, I was not excited,” Greene told The Daily Signal. “I was second-guessing myself. I found myself trying to convince myself that I was making the right decision.” “Immediately after taking it, I felt regret,” she said of the abortion pill, “and I had a feeling that that was a very bad decision.” Greene said she googled her options and found Chelsea Mynyk, a nurse-midwife and owner...

We found this amazing praying mantis on our front porch today. This is in the Silicon Valley, CA area near Palo Alto and Mountain View. I've never seen a yellow praying mantis before, always green. The mantis is good at camouflage and it's interesting this yellow guy is on our doormat of about the same color. We moved him off the doormat several times today, but he always goes back to the door mat. At first, we thought it was a leaf on the doormat, but realized it was a praying mantis.
