According to the company's website and other reports, the following locations are now listed as permanently closed:
New York
Middletown, 23 Crystal Run Crossing
Poughkeepsie, 2594 South Road (Route 9)
Clifton Park, 1 Southside Drive
Connecticut
Enfield, Freshwater-Stateline Plaza, 130 Elm Street
Pennsylvania
Allentown, 395 S Cedar Crest Blvd.
Virginia
Leesburg, 235 Fort Evans Rd NE
Customers at several of the locations were surprised by signs posted announcing the sudden closures.
Founded in New York City, TGI Friday's has over 200 restaurants in the US.
Earlier closures were mainly in the Midwest.
Just don’t close my Golden Corral.
This chain is dying.
It was a very busy restaurant at the time, in a bedroom community that needed places like that.
The one in The Woodlands, TX, was a dump and was torn down last year (along with the Macaroni Grill next door).

Hey Friday....someone stole our copper clappers!
Casual Dining is dying.
It costs as much now to eat at McDonalds as it did not long ago to eat at TGIFs.
The servers weren’t wearing enough flair to keep the customers coming back.
I have not seen one in a number of years. I thought they were already out of business.
OK… Am I the only one who is shocked that there were ANY TGI Fridays left anymore?
Problem with casual dining is they don’t actually make anything anymore.
Most of it is frozen and shipped in and then fried.
You can do that just as well at home.
You’re better off at going to Five Guys.
i’m surprised it’s not 120 closing ... truly awful places with awful “food” ...
Bars & restaurants are hurting in NEPA. Local bars inundated with LCB visits to nitpick, diners with limited hours (can’t find people to work at a price diners can afford), inflation pinching discretionary spending.
Not to worry, I’m sure the politicians and elites are enjoying meals and drinks galore.
I don't know if it's because I'm getting older and my taste buds have changed but I'm finding there is very little restaurant food that I can't prepare better myself. And I'm not even that awesome of a cook.
It's just all so uninspired and seems to be made without care. And yes, it seems much of it now comes in a can.
Forty years ago, I thought TGIF has a pretty good burger.
I ran across an extant branch a few months ago, so I gave it a shot. It was edible, but just barely. I had no interest in going back. The chain is running on fumes at this point.
Middle and Lower classes are being crushed so the 7-11s and the TGI Fridays will not be viable. Of course the high end shops in the Washington DC area will all be fine as the government votes themselves as much of our money as they want.
The last time I was at TGIF was many years ago with 3 of my girlfriends. There was a waiting line about 15 people out the door. I walked up to the maitre de flashed him a $10 bill and asked how long is the wait? He said “right this way ladies” 😆
I’d say Outback is next to go down. The one near us and a block from Universal Studios has been going down for the last 2 or 3 years. So we recently went to a different one about 10 miles away in Clermont. Same thing.
7-Elevens are nothing more than a pitstop for foreign landscapers now. Disgustingly filthy most times.
