“But we all, with unveiled face beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as from the Lord, the Spirit” (2 Corinthians 3:18). The Holy Spirit’s transforming work is a central part of the believer’s sanctification. The children’s fable The Ugly Duckling wonderfully illustrates the Holy Spirit’s transforming work in believers. The story is about an ugly young bird who can’t fit in with any of the other animals. It’s not until he encounters the beautiful swans that his life starts changing. The swans are an...

Colorado’s new LGBTQ social studies standards, which include first grade lessons on LGBTQ history, transgenderism, and the rainbow flag, is age-inappropriate and pushes a radical agenda, some parents in the state complain. “I don’t want my first grader learning anything about LGBTQ issues at all in school,” a Colorado father of a first grader who asked to remain anonymous told The Daily Signal.

Many Americans were surprised to recently see a coalition of the country’s most radical politicians — Sen. Elizabeth Warren, D-Mass., Rep Maxine Waters, D-Calif., and Sen. Richard Blumentha l, D-Conn., to name a few — teaming up to introduce heavy-handed legislation against the peer-to-peer payment companies (like PayPal, Venmo, Zelle and CashApp) that have improved all our lives. Blumenthal even went so far as to dispatch a separate letter to the head of the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB) demanding an investigation into Zelle... The Biden administration brass, especially CFPB Director Rohit Chopra, have fought aggressively to convince the American...

Researchers at Yale have identified a protein that triggers loss of immune regulation associated with multiple sclerosis and other diseases. This discovery, which highlights the role of environmental factors like high salt intake, offers a new target for developing universal autoimmune treatments. Groundbreaking Discoveries in Autoimmune Research More than two decades ago, a research team in the lab of David Hafler, a Yale researcher who at the time was at Harvard, discovered a type of T cell in humans that suppresses the immune system; they later found that these so-called regulatory T cells, when defective, are an underlying cause of...

What’s the deal with converts to Islam? Last April, a teenager in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho, named Alexander Scott Mercurio was caught plotting jihad massacres in local churches, “using weapons, including knives, firearms, and fire.” On New Year’s Eve in 2022, a 19-year-old named Trevor Bickford traveled from his home in Wells, Maine, to Times Square, where he attacked three NYPD officers with a machete. In April 2021, a Zion, Illinois, man named Edward Schimenti got thirteen and a half years in prison for aiding the Islamic State (ISIS). These are just three men who are on a long and ever-lengthening...

As envisioned in Vice President Harris’s economic plan, the FTC plans to use antitrust as a fulcrum to regulate prices and therefore private business itself. Have you ever shopped for groceries at a Walmart, a Trader Joe’s, an Aldi, a Costco, a Whole Foods, or a Target? If you have, you know that clubstores and supercenters offer a wealth of fresh produce, quality meats, frozen foods, bakery items, and canned goods. When you go to a big box retailer with a grocery section, it is no different than going to a stand-alone supermarket like Safeway, Wegmans, or Harris Teeter. You...

~Last week, à propos America's presently presidentless republic, I remarked: Meanwhile, the Ukrainians say Moscow is 'threatening the world with nuclear catastrophe'. Given that an American client state has spent the last month bombing Russia daily, it would be unusual if they were not. But that's no reason to divert the dead husk from another week at his beach house in Delaware. To which Roy Koczela responds: "Given that an American client state has spent the last month bombing Russia daily, it would be unusual if they were not." Steyn goes full-on Putinist, literally more submissive to the Kremlin than...

An Army investigation found an F-35 pilot with no previous experience in the type was at the controls of an Apache attack helicopter when it crashed at a base in Utah last February. According to KUTV, which got a copy of the report, the pilot was a colonel and he had 35 minutes of sim time in the Apache before he took off on an orientation flight with a Master Warrant Officer who was qualified in the type. The investigation found that on the colonel's fourth attempt to hover and land the Apache at the army facility at West Jordan...

When a hurricane is coming, you board up the windows. When the IRS is planning a storm of audits of people who look just like you, you need an audit response plan. The IRS has been dropping a new press release with an explicit threat to the bank accounts of successful Americans every other month or so. Their messaging sounds increasingly political, and high-income taxpayers would be foolish to ignore what they’re saying: the IRS plans more audits of successful Americans to force them to pay more taxes. When a hurricane is coming, you board up the windows and stock...

This is the terrifying moment a Ukrainian 'flamethrowing drone' set Russian defences alight with incendiaries that can burn up to 2,400C. Footage taken by another drone shows the flamethrower unit methodically tracing a forest understood to be hosting Russian troops, spitting hot thermite down below. The length of forest can be seen quickly catching alight, as smoke billows upwards. The video was posted by Ukraine’s 108th Separate Territorial Defense Brigade with a single word, referencing the dragons in Game of Thrones: 'Drakaris.'

Matthias Desmet is the Dutch psychologist that got into trouble pushing against the Narrative on COVID. La Wik: Desmet became known for his negative assessment of the corona measures… He also made a number of statements that were considered untrue and/or misleading by fact checkers[.] I picked up his book The Psychology of Totalitarianism last week, in which he argues that the kind of “mass formation” we saw during COVID where everyone rushed to get with the latest ukase from on high, is characteristic of modern totalitarianism and its “mechanistic” worldview. At the end of the book he cites modern...
