A group of about 20 migrants allegedly tried to enter a California school bus picking up students on Wednesday morning, district officials said. Racist and anti-immigrant signs were found Thursday morning bolted to three bus stops along East Colfax Avenue, according to the Regional Transportation District. An RTD bus driver first reported one of the signs about 5 a.m., according to RTD. The metal signs were attached to the bus stop's pole at East Colfax Avenue and Oneida Street in Denver. Two other signs were found at bus stops near the intersections of East Colfax Avenue and Garfield and of East Colfax Avenue and Yosemite Street, RTD said.
