A group of about 20 migrants allegedly tried to enter a California school bus picking up students on Wednesday morning, district officials said.
The incident was one of two that occurred at a bus stop for Jamul-Dulzura Union School District students, with three men previously trying to enter the school bus on Tuesday, Fox 5 reports.
Superintendent Liz Bystedt said in a letter to parents that the group of migrants were walking in the middle of Highway 94 trying to stop one of the buses.
Parents, however, were also at the site helping the bus driver ensure the students were safe and that none of the migrants boarded the vehicle.
Nicole Cardinale, whose 8-year-old son was on the bus, told the outlet that it was “really scary” that the children had such an encounter.
“[My son] said these adults — they weren’t kids — had backpacks on and they were trying to get on [his bus] … He said there was a lot of them,” she said.
Additional details about the incident were not made available.
The district did not immediately respond to The Post’s request for comment.
The district has reported the case to the US Border Patrol, California Highway Patrol and San Diego County Sheriff’s Department.
“We are conducting a follow-up investigation to determine if a criminal act has occurred,” said Kimberly King, media relations director for the sheriff’s department.
“The Sheriff’s Office takes issues regarding student safety very seriously and are working with the school district in order to keep the students and our community safe,” King added.

Gov Newsom might sign legislation to make it mandatory for school buses to give rides to “migrants”. Why not, they’re future votes to keep him in power.
I won’t be surprised to see armed men trying to get onto school buses next.

They probably heard about Massachusetts where the school buses have been redeployed to chauffeur illegal aliens around, so they figure that they should get the same deal in California.
But how long before they start doing wholesale carjacking there too?

Guess they have to update their warning signs to include watching out for men walking in the middle of the road trying to stop school buses, instead of just those boring signs warning drivers that a family might be trying to cross the roads running from border patrol.

The latest we have going on here is Venezuelan gang members going door to door posing as utility workers and then launching violent home invasions. They came here with a deliberate plan to exploit America’s weakness to literally rape, pillage, plunder, and murder.
This is no different than if we were being invaded by a hostile army, and our government was refusing to defend the country. If now isn’t go time, then I don’t know when it will be.

That was my first introduction to that........50 years ago too. That is normal, although they have graduated to nails embedded into cement, razor wire, and in some cases, electrified fences.
