Many people, including Catholic bishops and numerous Christians throughout the world, have condemned the blasphemous event that took place during the opening ceremonies of the Summer Olympics in Paris. As almost everyone now knows, there was a mocking display of the Last Supper where Jesus was portrayed as an obese female dressed in white. She was surrounded by a gaggle of drag queen “apostles,” and a young girl was also – we should worry why? – included in this hypersexualized and sacrilegious depiction. Amidst all the condemnations and claims of the display’s offensiveness, what has not been stated, even by...

And now, a barrio revolt is unfolding ... An old truism in politics is that if the win is big enough, the other guy can't steal it. Venezuela's latest election just put paid to that nonsense. Any filthy tyrant, especially a socialist with a lot to hide and a will to entrench himself in permanent power, can steal an election ... right in front of his voters' faces. And in the case of Nicolas Maduro of Venezuela, be perfectly confident that he'll always get away with it. The opposition will be told to accept the result and go prepare for...

Fred Trump III, the nephew of former President Donald Trump, said his uncle is "atomic crazy," that he witnessed him using racial slurs decades ago -- and that he plans to vote for Kamala Harris. The Trump way was to be "complex and sometimes cruel," Fred Trump said in an interview with ABC News' Aaron Katersky."And within every family -- people know this -- families are complicated. Every family has their crazy uncle. My Uncle Donald is atomic crazy. And … he has put his mark on the family history," he said, as he promoted his new book, "All in the...

Given her penchant for contrived drama, however, Harris has remained curiously silent about having her life “directly endangered” on Jan. 6. On March 19, 2021, UCLA student Christian Secor learned that the Department of Justice planned to keep him in jail. A month earlier a federal judge had denied Secor bond after a D.C. grand jury indicted him on ten counts of nonviolent January 6 mischief. Secor’s alleged offenses, argued Assistant U.S. Attorney Kimberly Paschall, “from him pushing on a crowd of people to breach the Rotunda door to sitting atop the Senate dais in the chair occupied minutes before...

Iran is using covert social media activity and related influence operations in an effort to undercut the candidacy of former President Donald Trump, a US intelligence official said Monday in an updated assessment of threats to the November election. The US intelligence community has “observed Tehran working to influence the presidential election, probably because Iranian leaders want to avoid an outcome they perceive would increase tensions with the United States,” the Office of the Director of National Intelligence (ODNI) said in a statement.

William Calley, the army officer who was the only person to be convicted in relation to the mass murder of Vietnamese civilians, including children, in what came to be known as the My Lai massacre, has died at the age of 80. Jesus asked the chief priests and elders to take a stand an a simple truth claim: Either John’s baptism is from heaven or from man. Declare what you believe to be the truth. They ponder: If we say that John’s baptism is from heaven, then we will be shamed because we don’t live like it is from heaven and Jesus will show that we are hypocrites. (1)On the other hand, if we say that John’s baptism is from man, we may be attacked by the crowd, because they all believe he was a prophet. So since we don’t want to...

After being asked to leave Stab's Tuesday for a confusing dress code violation at Stab's Prime Steak and Seafood and posting about it on Facebook, Y'Mine McClanahan's post has taken a new turn. Late Wednesday evening, she posted a statement on her personal Facebook page from the NAACP Baton Rouge Branch addressing her experience at Stab's Prime Steak and Seafood where she was asked to leave because of her attire which, many argue, was less "revealing" than the restaurant's wait staff's attire. McClanahan is the vice president of the Baton Rouge Branch of NAACP.

Facebook wrongly called the popular image of Donald Trump pumping his fist in the air after an assassination attempt against him an "altered photo," a spokesperson admitted Monday. Users across X shared reports that their Facebook accounts were labeling the image as "altered", explaining "Independent fact-checkers reviewed a similar photo and said it was altered in a way that could mislead people." Meta Public Affairs Director Dani Lever later explained on X it was done in error as the systems were meant to detect a separate version of the image. "This was an error. This fact check was initially applied...

A RADICAL religious group has raised more than £3 million to buy an entire Scottish island, with the aim to create a closed community which practices sharia law. On Sunday, the Daily Mail reported that the London-based preacher Sheikh Yasser al-Habib and his followers were in “advanced talks” to purchase the island of Torsa, in Argyll. The 271-acre Torsa island, which is roughly 20 miles south of Oban, is currently being marketed by Savills, which is inviting offers of over £1,500,000. Al-Habib is the founder of the Mahdi Servants Union (MSU), which runs military-style training camps and the Fadak Shia...

N AN UNPRECEDENTED NIGHTTIME ATTACK on April 13, 2024, Iran launched more than 300 drones and missiles at Israel. Simultaneously, Hezbollah fired dozens of Grad rockets at Israel Defense Forces positions in the Golan Heights. What followed was a barrage of missiles that met a wall of resistance. Israel’s Arrow 3 interceptors hit ballistic missiles while they were still in space. At lower altitudes, David’s Sling missiles, which resemble the U.S. Patriot, took out even more. Meanwhile, U.S. warships and aircraft shot down some attackers. The last line of defense was Israel’s famed Iron Dome, a network of short-range interceptor...

Sen. John Kennedy (R-La.) on Monday said Americans view Vice President Harris as “a bit of a ding-dong,” a comment that was met with some pushback from Fox News host Neil Cavuto. Kennedy fired off a series of attacks against Harris on Fox News’s “Your World with Neil Cavuto,” repeatedly claiming polls show that Americans view Harris as “a bit of a ding-dong.” Cavuto continued to push back on Kennedy’s comments, questioning how beneficial it was for the senator and other Republicans to call the vice president names. “Margaret Thatcher didn’t giggle, Golda Meir didn’t giggle. When you look at...

The video is as triumphant as it is gruesome. Rebel fighters, rifles slung over their shoulders, step among more than a dozen bodies strewn across the sand and rocks. Off camera, the pop of gunshots can be heard. The scene is from another battle in the vast deserts of northern Mali – except that this time the victims were Russians. At the end of the video, the camera pans to a bearded white man on the ground, apparently begging for mercy. A different video shows several white men, still alive, kneeling amid the wreckage of a vehicle, as guerrilla fighters...

The situation with Russian payments to China continues to deteriorate: Chinese banks have begun to return about 80% of transfers in yuan to Russia, informed sources told Kommersant. According to them, the Chinese side has been tightening requirements "increasingly" since December 2023. Then US President Joe Biden signed a decree allowing the US Treasury to impose secondary sanctions against credit institutions of third countries for cooperation with Russian sanctioned companies and assistance to the military-industrial complex (MIC). After another tightening of sanctions in June, when the United States included all sanctioned persons, including Russian banks, in the definition of the...
