Trump’s Triumph At The RNC Suggests Something Bigger Than Politics Is Unfolding In AmericaOn a convention night infused with an air of divine providence, Trump gave a speech for the history books. It’s difficult to describe historical moments as they’re unfolding, but let me hazard a few initial observations about former President Donald Trump’s speech at the Republican National Convention on Thursday night.Watching a presidential candidate (and former president) describe his near-assassination less than a week after a bullet came within millimeters of ending his life is quite simply the most captivating, awe-inspiring thing that has ever happened at a political...

CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa (KCRG) - A global internet outage early Friday morning is impacting major industries around the world, including banks, airlines, and TV stations. Our computers at the TV9 studio in Cedar Rapids were down for a period of time. The Cedar Rapids Police Department tells TV9 it was also affected. The FAA is issuing ground-stops for major airlines. The Eastern Iowa Airport said the outages happened at a time there were no flights, and so far there has been no impact.

In a new memo obtained by NBC News, the campaign’s battleground states director, Dan Kanninen, says that despite intense media coverage on Democratic divisions, organizers talking to voters consistently found that issues such as women’s rights and the potential GOP agenda of Project 2025 are paramount. “While voters consistently mention President Biden’s age when contacted, our target voters — both re-engagement and true swing voters — are still planning to vote for him, making it clear the debate has not hurt support among the voters who will decide this election,” he writes in the memo. Kanninen says he won’t “sugar...

We don't know about you, but watching the Left flailing to come to terms with their frail candidate and the bump in support for former President Trump following the attempt to assassinate him is, frankly, hilarious. They don't know how to cope. An assassin's bullet tried to kill Trump and ended up finishing off the Biden campaign instead. Over the past few days, they've been spinning themselves into an insane frenzy because they don't have a detailed medical report on the damage to Trump's ear. Did MSNBC just equate the Trump campaign not yet releasing information about Trump’s ear (which...

I've tried probably half a dozen or more food kit subscriptions. I have an active lifestyle and find that supplementing at least a few of the meals during the week is well-served by these resources. Which have you tried? Which did you really like and didn't like? Which seemed like the best value? Which ones do you share their ideology with? Personally, the first I tried was Blue Apron and it remains my favorite. Though it's become a little pricey (like everything else) the value seemed to be superior as well as their service. Recipes were always unique and something...

A conspiracy theory has run unabated in Democratic circles following the assassination attempt against former president Donald Trump on Saturday. It posits that Trump staged the shooting for a photo op, that the wound on his ear was caused by something other than an assassin's bullet, and that he was never in mortal danger. It's a baseless conspiracy theory disproven by reams of documentary evidence and eyewitness accounts. And it's a belief held by one-third of the Democratic electorate. One in three registered Democrats believe it is "credible" that the shooting Saturday in Butler, Pa., was staged and not intended...

thank you for coming it's been two years since we've sat across from each other didn't expect to have a second interview 0:06 with you um I'm grateful that uh we're able to um thank you so when we spoke 0:13 before you described what you believed were Hunter Biden and the Biden 0:18 families effectively um offenses against the United States ways that their 0:23 business practices that undermined US National Security but there was also an offense against you it what seemed like 0:30 seemed like fraud um and now two years later we have I think a...

WASHINGTON, July 18, 1864. By the President of the United States of America: A PROCLAMATION. Whereas, by the Act, approved July 4, 1864, entitled "An Act further to regulate and provide for She enrolling and calling out the National forces, and for other purposes," it is provided that the President of the United States may, at his discretion, at any time hereafter, call for any number of men as volunteers, for the respective terms of one, two and three years for military service, and "that, in case the quota or any part thereof, of any town, township, ward of a...

What does President Joe Biden’s exit from the 2024 White House race look like? According to an NBC News report Friday, members of the octogenarian’s own family are working through scenarios dealing with that very question right now. The report cites two people familiar with the discussions. It sets out one proviso of the discussions is that Biden has to keep his reputation in tact through the exit while not giving former President Donald Trump any leeway to add to his growing political capital. The outlet continues: Biden’s family members have specifically discussed how he would want to end his...

No one could have foreseen, when the works started, that the construction of a ventilation tunnel on the east side of the San Paolino building, the new headquarters of the library of the Archaeological Park of Pompeii, would lead to such an important discovery. The works, which were necessary to avoid water infiltrations that threatened the integrity of the site's book heritage, in fact, led to the discovery of the two ends of a schola tomb, with a tuff seat ending in elegant lion's paws, also known from other examples in Pompeii, such as the tomb of Mamia and that...

Just when the people thought they could let down their guard, their enemies showed up again. The wall was near completion. All that was left was to hang the doors in the gates (v. 1). When their enemies heard about it, they schemed to do harm, being driven by bitter envy. Envy occurs when a person lacks another's superior quality, achievement, or possession and either desires it or wishes that the other lacked it. The enemies didn’t want to accept that the Jews had a new wall that would allow them to reclaim their city. So this time the attack...

An anti-Israel demonstration shut down Grand Central Terminal’s iconic main concourse to rush-hour travelers Thursday evening over security concerns before hundreds of angry protesters marched downtown. Several protesters were arrested in the demonstration, dubbed “Flood New York for Gaza,” which was organized by the Palestinian activist group Within in Our Lifetime. Protesters converged on Pershing Square outside of Grand Central Terminal around 5:30 p.m., where they briefly clashed with about 50 pro-Israel counter-protesters. The crowd quickly ballooned to hundreds strong — many of them masked — as they took to the streets and headed down Park Avenue, waving Palestinian flags...

I am not excusing the poor behavior of these students or their parents who are too tired, oblivious, or proud to correct it. I am not blaming educators who were doomed to fail by a system so convoluted it sabotages its own purpose. What I am calling for in the clearest possible words is this: raze the Department of Education and build a public education system worthy of American exceptionalism.

Simple ballistic math showed that capturing a bullet as Mr. Mills likely did in a photo was possible, Mr. Harrigan said. Mr. Mills was using a Sony digital camera capable of capturing images at up to 30 frames per second. He took these photos with a shutter speed of 1/8,000th of a second — extremely fast by industry standards.

With the arraignment of Donald Trump on charges brought under the Espionage Act, America’s cold civil war pitting blue cities against red regions has gotten considerably hotter. But that’s inevitable when you manipulate the nation’s laws to designate the leader of a movement representing one half of the country a traitor. Legal experts say the Justice Department’s case against Trump is strong. Even many on the right agree. “This indictment contains serious charges,” says Trump’s former Vice President Mike Pence. The former president is “toast,” says his onetime Attorney General William Barr. But to others, the 37-count indictment looks like...

Time magazine has decided to change its August cover from the iconic image of Donald Trump raising his fist moments after surviving the assassination attempt after complaints from left-wing media writers that it will help his popularity. The propaganda rag has now opted to use a monochrome picture of the evacuated rally site, with the words “What Unites Us.”

A few uneducated comments about President Trump's conduct at the convention. I do think he has a degree of PTSD. (who wouldn't after an assassin's near miss?). Trump is getting his therapy from his loyal followers at the convention. His daily attendance was there to strengthen and support America's Lion. His long and ad lib middle speech was there to enjoy the love and support of his adoring supporters. As for the boilerplate promises that we have always heard from politicians these are goals and Trump will do better than anyone else to accomplish them. The Bible tells us that...
