NASA has canceled its plan to land a robotic rover on the Moon to search for ice and other potential resources, after spending $450 million. The plan involved landing what is dubbed the Volatiles Investigating Polar Exploration Rover, or VIPER, near the lunar South Pole, which scientists suspect may harbor ice. It was planned for the mobile robot to spend 100 days scouting the area for ice deposits and producing a first-ever resource map, which NASA said was critical for its future Artemis missions to establish a long-term human presence on the Moon’s surface. The decision to axe the VIPER...

After the assassination attempt on the former President and potential future President, murder of a firefighter protecting his family and the critical wounding of two other rally attendees it got me wondering: Where is the Monday morning email from the CEO of my company to all of the employees stating that violence is not the answer. I believe there was an email after Kyle Rittenhouse, BLM riots, 2020 Election, COVID, Supreme Court decisions and such but absolute silence about this past Saturday.I would like to know if your company has sent out any communications about the horrific events of this...

A record number of Americans believe that former President Donald Trump is going to beat President Joe Biden in November. In a poll released Wednesday by The Economist and YouGov, 49 percent of U.S. adults said that they think Trump would win the 2024 presidential election with him as the Republican nominee and Biden as the Democrats' pick. A spokesperson for YouGov confirmed with Newsweek that the recent poll result is the highest number of support Trump has received when compared to past surveys where participants were asked who they viewed as the likely next president. Last week's poll found...

Dear Republicans - this is how you fight. Secret Service Director Kimberly Cheatle is either the most incompetent person on planet earth, or she was in on it. (4 minute and 15 seconds video of the exchange in the link below) https://x.com/catturd2/status/1813882220865630668

MSNBC’s Joe Scarborough all but called on President Biden to drop his re-election campaign Thursday — as the TV host ripped the commander-in-chief’s inner circle for keeping him in the race. “This is not going to end well if it continues to drag out,” Scarborough said during a lengthy spiel on his “Morning Joe” talk show. Scarborough, who has staunchly defended the 81-year-old president in recent weeks despite the mounting calls for him to step aside, called on those closest to Biden to help him “do the right thing.” “It’s really incumbent on people that are around Joe Biden to...

In a moment of raw personal courage at local fair-grounds in Butler, Pennsylvania, Donald Trump upended America’s presidential race by surviving an assassin’s bullet and then leaping to his feet and punching the air while proclaiming “USA!” and “Fight! Fight! Fight!” The resulting photographs may well change America and the world in ways no one seriously imagined even last week. Trump’s heroic response to an attempt on his life is a reminder of the extent to which, even in our technologically-mediated universe, the arts of narrative manipulation and framing only reach so far. At the core of every story is...

During an interview on Tuesday for Wednesday’s BET News interview special “Black America Votes: The Biden Interview,” President Joe Biden said that he tells people who are dealing with high prices that inflation is falling, he believes the Federal Reserve will reduce rates, we have to confront corporate greed, he has policies on housing, and he implemented his student loan plan. Journalist Ed Gordon asked, “What do you tell people who are paying six bucks for cereal, they can’t take their kids to a movie or a ballgame, memories that last with you? What do you tell them?”

Joe Biden got nasty at times in a “tense” Zoom meeting with dozens of moderate Democratic lawmakers who called his viability on the presidential ticket into question on Saturday. Among them was Rep. Jason Crow (D-CO), a former Army Ranger who served three tours in the Middle East, who found himself on the brunt end of a personal attack from Biden after he asked about the importance of national security to voters in November, Puck reported. “First of all, I think you’re dead wrong on national security,” the president said to Crow. “You saw what happened recently in terms of...

This assassination attempt on Trump is only the latest endeavor to stop him from leading the United States in 2025. A SIGN near the site of last week’s attempted assassination of Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump in Butler, Pennsylvania, reads: ‘Prayers for Peace – Donald Trump 2024.’ US President Joe Biden’s choice of Kimberly Cheatle to lead the Secret Service is a failure, the writer opines.(photo credit: CARLOS OSORIO/REUTERS) By the grace of God, former President Donald Trump turned his head and the assassin’s shot sliced into his ear instead of piercing his skull. We could very well be planning...

Some Secret Service snipers put in place to protect former President Donald Trump during Saturday’s rally were positioned so that a tree may have screened Thomas Crooks from them as he rained bullets on Trump’s rally, according to a new report. CBS said that based on lines of sight at the Butler, Pennsylvania, venue where the rally was held, a tree near the building where Crooks positioned himself may have screened him from one of two sniper teams who were positioned to respond to threats such as the one Crooks represented.

We have received Richmond papers of the 14th inst., from which we make the following extracts, which show among other things the view taken and the hopes excited by the late Maryland raid at Richmond:AROUND PETERSBURGH.From the Richmond Dispatch, July 14. In front of Petersburgh, yesterday, matters continued comparatively quiet. Nothing occurred to interrupt the prevailing monotony beyond some picket firing and the occasional boom of a heavy gun. The impression is very general that the enemy is withdrawing his troops, and, indeed, it is a pretty well ascertained fact that one corps of the Yankee army has already taken...

NEW YORK CITY (AP) — Brad Song thought he was about to get his e-bike stolen a second time in a less than a month after delivering an order for Chinese food app Fantuan Delivery. Asylum-seekers have gravitated to working food delivery in New York and other major cities, drawn by an abundance of customers and ease of getting started. But the job carries hazards, particularly thieves who target food delivery bikes. Newly arrived asylum-seekers have been easy targets. Some work without legal permission, which can make them fearful of seeking help in an emergency. New York migrant shelters have...

House Speaker Mike Johnsons, R-La., said Wednesday he will look at all available avenues should Secret Service Director Kimberly Cheatle buck calls for her resignation following the attempted assassination of former President Donald Trump. He reportedly said earlier Wednesday he will be forming a special House task force to investigate the attempted assassination at a rally Saturday in Butler, Pennsylvania. Trump’s right ear was bloodied by a bullet fired from suspected shooter Thomas Matthew Crooks, 20, who also killed a rally attendee and injured two others before being gunned down by a Secret Service sniper.

We have created a generation of deeply damaged young men. On Sunday, South Carolina’s Lindsey Graham said that the blame for the assassination attempt on President Trump falls upon the shooter, Thomas Matthew Crooks. True, but I’d like to add to that indictment that our culture is also to blame. What I know of the 20-year-old Crooks is what you know of him, and while it’s tempting to say that nothing we’ve heard can be trusted to be true, we can at least assemble a picture of who he was—and wasn’t. Crooks did an evil thing, but we can point...

President Joe Biden has become more receptive in the last several days to hearing arguments about why he should drop his reelection bid, Democrats briefed on his conversations said Wednesday, after his party’s two top leaders in Congress privately told him they were deeply concerned about his prospects. Biden has not given any indication that he is changing his mind about staying in the race, the Democrats said, but has been willing to listen to rundowns of new and worrying polling data and has asked questions about how Vice President Kamala Harris could win. The accounts suggest that Biden, privately...

“Who you gonna believe, me or your lying eyes?” The Democrat press agents known as “the media” are frantically attempting to convince us that until the June 27 presidential debate, they didn’t know the extent and severity of Joe Biden’s cognitive and physical decline. That’s why since 2020 they smeared thousands of columns and videos documenting the decline as “disinformation” or “deep fakes” manufactured by the MAGA Ministry of Information. Essentially, they’ve been relying on the Marxist––of the Chico variety–– question, “Who you gonna believe, me or your lying eyes?”But for over a century we’ve known that the left is...

Celebrate diversity. Diversity is our strength and all that, and we all saw it in our social studies books back in seventh grade: smiling children, all carefully chosen to represent a smorgasbord of races and ethnicities, happily playing together without a care in the world. A recent incident in Queens, N.Y., however, shows how our indefatigable commitment to diversity really works in practice. The New York Post reportedSaturday that “a NYC taxi driver was hit with a hate crime [charge] for allegedly beheading a statue depicting a young Jesus outside a Queens Catholic church, prosecutors said.” The iconoclast who did the...

Deal with it. You knew that the New York Times wouldn’t let a patriotic holiday like Independence Day pass without taking a subversive shot at patriotism or America itself or her founding. Sure enough, author, editor, and Times columnist Pamela Paul wrote a July 4th opinion piece with a headline that, in addition to being wrong, was insulting to all Americans of faith: “Your Religious Values Are Not American Values.” Predictably, it regurgitates many of the Left’s usual negative tropes about Christianity and our country’s founding.Allow me to address some of those tropes, and please forgive the belated response to...
