CLAIM: White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre claimed Tuesday that grocery prices went down under President Joe Biden’s leadership. VERDICT: False. “Food prices jumped 6.3% in 2021, and 10.4% in 2022. In 2023, food-price increases slowed, with the index up 2.7%,” TheStreet reported. To put that in perspective, Yahoo News reported that “a basket of groceries that cost $100 in November 2020 would now set you back $125.80.” Prices continue to rise despite the slowing rate of inflation.

In March, Youngkin skipped a rally to attend a basketball game, citing a scheduling conflict. In October 2021, Youngkin gave the cold shoulder again, saying prior arrangements kept him from appearing at a Trump rally featuring then-chief Trump strategist Steve Bannon. With new polling indicating Trump is on the rise in Virginia, Youngkin seems to be hopping back on the Trump train.

The Planned Parenthood abortion business has revealed a $40 million commitment for the 2024 election cycle, intending to bolster its lucrative abortion business and endorse President Joe Biden along with prominent congressional Democrats. This announcement follows the U.S. Supreme Court’s reversal of Roe v. Wade two years ago, which ended the made-up “right” to abortion. Planned Parenthood’s initiative seeks to support candidates nationwide who advocate for abortion rights. The heavy election investment comes after the abortion giant got hundreds of millions of tax dollars. Planned Parenthood made use of $699 million in United States taxpayer funds to perform over 390,000...

Following the reporting requirements under the Federal Information Security Modernization Act (FISMA), CISA notified participants in the Chemical Facility Anti-Terrorism Standards (CFATS) program about the intrusion and the potentially impacted information. snip CISA was not...

Conventional wisdom holds that the GOP is split into two factions: A Reaganite wing that still holds on to old ideas of U.S. leadership on the world stage and a populist MAGA wing that is deeply skeptical of U.S. global leadership and wants to retreat into a fortress America. That conventional wisdom is dead wrong. In fact, the opposite appears to be true: Populist MAGA Republicans are actually more supportive of strong U.S. leadership and engagement in international affairs than establishment Republicans.

Federal, state and local officials are focusing their efforts on a voluntary evacuation of Dakota Dunes and a levee construction project across Interstate 29 near McCook Lake as they continue responding to historic rainfall and flooding in southeast South Dakota that has claimed at least one life. Gov. Kristi Noem led a press conference Sunday in North Sioux City. She shared news of the death but declined to provide any information about the person, circumstances or location, other than saying the death was related to flooding. “Because of respect for the family, I’m not going to share any details around...

The Texas Rangers have sparked anger among LGBTQ+ groups by again refusing to host a Pride Night during the Major League Baseball season. Texas stands alone among the 30 MLB teams but they responded to fury from campaigners by insisting that they are welcoming to all baseball fans. In September 2003, however, two years after the Chicago Cubs hosted what is considered the first Pride game, the Rangers invited local LGBTQ+ groups to a game as part of a fundraising event. Some Rangers fans expressed opposition and there were even some protests outside the stadium before the game. DeeJay Johannessen...

Pro-lifers are often accused of opposing abortion solely for religious reasons. If you follow Secular Pro-Life on Twitter long enough, you will see tweets from pro-choicers claiming SPL is really a Christian group. Some pro-abortion people say that atheists like me who oppose abortion are closet Christians who have no reason for our views except for our (alleged) faith. Pro-abortion people have also used this argument to discredit religious pro-lifers. Even when a religious pro-lifer relies solely on secular arguments, they almost invariably hear that they only oppose abortion because their religion tells them to. Sometimes, though, it is pro-choicers...

A violent antisemitic mob descended upon a Los Angeles synagogue on Sunday and harassed the congregants, injuring several. Yet the response from the LA media and authorities has been pitiful. Many VIDEOS AT LINK............. The initial protests were organized by Palestinian Youth Movement LA and Code Pink LA, the same coalition of people who’ve organized the protests on college campuses and in our cities. Some of the protesters filmed their march down the streets of Los Angeles holding Palestinian and pro-Hamas flags. They screamed chants like, “There is only one solution, intifada revolution.” This is what the protest ended up...

How many Ukrainian civilians have been killed by missiles, drones and artillery fired from the Crimean peninsula? How many of those munitions were made in Iran or North Korea? It is highly doubtful that the Armed Forces of Ukraine would use its limited ATACMS munitions to attack non-military targets — particularly as at no point during the war up to now has Ukraine intentionally targeted Russian civilians. Rather, it is more likely that the Russian beachgoers were killed not by ATACMS or other US-made weapons, but by Russian military 9M330 air defense missiles fired by Moscow’s TOR-M2 anti-aircraft platform. Early...

The Supreme Court case Idaho v. United States is less about abortion and more about federal control over state and individual rights. Thwarted by the U.S. Supreme Court [SCOTUS] in its effort to make abortion as easy to get as possible, the left is now hoping it can get the court to restore some of the power Democrats lost in the Idaho v. United States case. The case considers whether federal law can supersede state law. In this case, whether the federal government can require states that participate in Medicare to perform abortions in violation of a state law. “The...

Two-time failed presidential candidate Hillary Clinton used an op-ed Tuesday to publicly swoon over President Joe Biden ahead of the first presidential debate of 2024. Her gushing piece in the New York Times heaped unstinting praise and flattery on “decent” Biden while dismissing Trump as “a convicted criminal out for revenge.” After opening the essay talking about herself and her times at the debating podium, Clinton quickly waded into Trump by defining his character as somehow less than worthy of high office compared with his octogenarian opponent.

After a prolonged, deafening silence, the fat community has finally taken a stand on Gaza. Introducing “Fatties for a Free Palestine”, the latest woke social-media trend to take the Middle East’s most intractable, awful conflict and reduce it to a fashion statement. This is the brainchild of Hannah Moushabeck, a Palestinian American author and activist, in collaboration with designer Phoebe Wahl and a lifestyle blog called Fat Girl Flow. Essentially, it looks like a t-shirt design with pretensions to being a political movement. For $39 you can get your hands on a standard or a cropped tee, emblazoned with “Fatties...
