A recent Remington Research Group/Missouri Scout survey showed what appears to be an uphill battle for far-left Democrat Rep. Cori Bush (D-MO) in her primary race, as she trails her Democrat challenger by double digits. The survey asked Democrat primary voters who they would support in the primary race, offering a choice of three candidates: Rep. Bush, St. Louis prosecuting attorney Wesley Bell, and State Sen. Maria Chapelle-Nadal. Half chose Bell as their candidate of choice, followed by 28 percent who said Bush and four percent who chose Nadal. Nearly one in five, 18 percent, remain unsure.

NETANYAHU: I think that any civilian loss, any civilian casualty is a tragedy, and it's a tragedy that is forced upon us by Hamas. But let me tell you something. I'd be cautious with the Hamas statistics. And I can tell you that, according to these urban warfare experts and other commentators, we've brought down the civilian-to-terrorist casualties, the ratio, down below 1-1, which is considerably less than in any other theater of similar warfare. And we're going to do more. We're going to provide... KARL: Wait a minute. Wait a minute. You're saying it's only been one civilian that's...

Consumer prices jumped hotter-than-expected, and leftist media outlets were predictably fumbling over themselves trying to spin the bad news in any which way they could to protect the floundering Biden economy. The latest Bureau of Labor Statistics inflation report showed that consumer prices spiked 3.1 percent year-over year, with a 0.3 percent increase month-over-month, both exceeding expectations. CBS News even conceded the new hot numbers “complicat[ed]” the Federal Reserve’s decision to cut interest rates. The outlet also noted that higher prices “remain sticky.” The Dow Jones Industrial Average also tumbled over 400 points following the news. But that didn’t stop...

If the leading candidate was to drop out of the campaign after most primaries or even during the convention, individual delegates would likely decide the party’s nominee on the convention floor. That would shine a spotlight on the normally niche question of who those actual delegates are. There would be a messy political battle in every state over who would get to be a delegate (if the vacancy happened before many of those people were chosen) and then who they would ultimately support. Even people who did not run primary campaigns could ultimately be considered. You can assume, for instance,...

This is the moment a transgender high school student won a girl's high jump state championship - sparking backlash from tennis ace Martina Navratilova. 'And I will keep saying this as nauseum until the rules change- women’s sports are not a place for failed male athletes.' the sports legend, who is openly gay, posted on X. Navratilova added: 'I am not the one competing. Most women and girls do not want male bodies competing against them. And this boy just grew long hair- no mitigation. Keep males bodies out of women’s sports- they are free to compete in the men’s...

Sen. John Cornyn (R-Texas) said Tuesday morning that Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton (R) was “pushing Russian propaganda” by criticizing Cornyn’s support for the long-delayed Ukraine funding bill that passed the Senate overnight. In a post on X, formerly known as Twitter, Cornyn took aim at Paxton, a close ally of former President Trump who was acquitted last year of corruption charges in a historic impeachment led by members of his own party. Paxton is scheduled to head to trial on securities fraud charges in April in Houston, a case that began in 2015. He also remains under FBI investigation...

Critics are slamming Disney as “woke” and “anti-white” over an episode of a kids show that features a song covering the history of slavery in the US and the need for “reparations.” The backlash stemmed from a Juneteenth episode of “The Proud Family: Louder and Prouder,” a reboot of the popular early aughts cartoon that airs on Disney’s streaming service Disney+. A clip from the episode that’s been making the rounds on social media shows characters singing a tune about how America has “still not atoned for” slavery and systemic racism. “Slaves built this country and we the descendants...

Boston City Council member Julia Mejia told WBTS Boston on Thursday that suburban residents need to step up and begin offering their homes as migrant shelters. The at-large city councilor insisted that the suburbs have more resources available than the city, and she thinks it is time for suburbanites to chip in on the border crisis. “Dedham, Wellesley, Brookline — cities and towns that have so much more resources than the city of Boston. People who actually have more financial support,” Mejia told the station. “We need to do everything in our power to make sure that we are setting...

What are we usually missing from the ancient world? Wood! Fortunately, the eruption of Vesuvius in AD 79 preserved a lot of wooden objects- ranging from a bed and crib, to a table, bench, and shrine, and more! Usually, these items are not on display, but on the occasion of a new exhibit, we are now able to examine the world of carpentry through these objects of everyday life- and many other artifacts- rarely preserved from Antiquity. By a vote of 214 for and 216 against, Secretary of Homeland Security Alejandro Mayorkas narrowly escaped being impeached by the US House of Representatives. Republicans had argued that his complete failure to interdict illegal immigration warranted his removal from office. However, every Democrat and three Republicans voted against impeachment. Rep. Ken Buck (R-Colo) voted against impeachment saying that "Secretary Mayorkas has completely failed at his job. He is incompetent. He is an embarrassment. And he will most likely be remembered as the worst secretary of Homeland Security in the history of the United States. However, he was only following...

Two hawk-eyed Senators are asking the Attorney General and his special counsel a big question: Did you guys just pull another fast one? Sens. Chuck Grassley and Ron Johnson say the same special counsel report that called Biden forgetful, old, and guilty of stealing and keeping highly classified documents left out a big chunk of evidence. They're wondering what happened to nine boxes full of documents that Joe Biden illegally took and then sent to his lawyer's office, and that were then picked up by the National Archives. The contents of those files and documents were not in the Hur...

The Senate early Tuesday passed a massive $95.3 billion aid package for Ukraine, Israel, and Taiwan with no border funding while almost all Americans were sound asleep. Canadian lawmakers recently introduced legislation to delay a planned expansion of their Medical Assistance in Dying (MAID) program for three years. Without this delay, the rapidly increasing Canadian suicide rates will explode as those suffering from mental health conditions will be allowed to commit suicide with the help of a medical professional. Not to be outdone, some Colorado legislators seem eager to expand the culture of death outside the womb and constitutionally enshrine a nonexistent “right” to death inside the womb. They are making the expansion of death a “hill to die on.” House and Senate legislators have introduced the...

Appeals to authority among the political class are substitutes for actual policy arguments, especially when it comes to funding Ukraine.Sen. Thom Tillis of North Carolina apparently thinks you have to be a “well-briefed U.S. senator” to understand the nuances of the Ukraine war, and that ordinary voters are simply too ignorant to have an opinion on the matter.“Our base cannot possibly know what’s at stake at the level that any well-briefed U.S. senator should know about what’s at stake if Putin wins,” Tillis said on Monday, according to Punchbowl News. He then blasted fellow Republicans who “are being driven just...

Tucker Carlson defended on Monday his decision not to question Russian President Vladimir Putin about allegations that the Kremlin has ordered assassinations of political dissidents. "Every leader kills people. Some kill more than others," the former Fox News host said. His comments came during a discussion at the World Government Summit in Dubai that touched upon his interview last week with the Russian leader. The interview, taped on February 6 and aired two nights later, has made international headlines for numerous statements made by Putin, including his supposed rationale for invading Ukraine. During the Dubai summit, Egyptian journalist Emad el-Din...
