Luke 2:16-21 Friends, today we celebrate the Blessed Virgin Mary as the Mother of God.St. Irenaeus says that, throughout the history of salvation, God was trying on humanity, gradually suiting divinity and humanity to one another—preparing for the Incarnation. All of that preparation was a prelude to the Israelite girl who would say yes to the invitation to be the Mother of God.To say that Mary is the Mother of God is to insist on the density of the claim that God truly became human. The global economic system is built on trade, and to trade, you need ships and safe, efficient routes. Often, that mean travelling through maritime choke points, where geography squeezes trade through a concentrated point. In the Red Sea, one of those chokepoints has come under pressure as a result of attacks by the Houthi movement based in Yemen, driving hundreds of vessels to divert to much longer routes around Africa. Now, US and Houthi forces have exchanged fire, with several Houthi boats reportedly being destroyed attempting to board a container ship. And beyond the risk of this particular campaign, the...

Researchers have unveiled crucial insights into the factors that might influence Intervertebral Disk Degeneration (IDD). IDD is a predominant cause of lower back pain, impacting millions worldwide. The focus of this research revolved around nucleus pulposus cells (NPCs), pivotal in IDD, and how oxygen levels and the HIF1A gene could influence them. Employing advanced RNA sequencing (RNA-seq), the team meticulously captured a comprehensive transcriptome of NPCs exposed to different oxygen conditions and instances of HIF1A deletion. The study leveraged tissues sourced from patients who had given informed consent before undergoing surgery. The efficacy of HIF1A modifications was authenticated using q-PCR,...

Verify that the link points to the......" I have been all over the internet, used three different search engines, and all of the...

The authors of the report say the catalyst behind the dire warnings is escalating concentrations of carbon dioxide (CO2). To salvage what remains, the authors say a much faster phase-out of oil, coal, and other fossil fuels is necessary. Failure could cause water and...

Ukraine fights” while thanking the efforts of the hundreds of thousands of men fighting on the frontlines and the civilian population for their contributions to the war effort and “holding back the evil that has become even greater.”

Democrat strategist Simon Rosenberg predicts that President Biden will win reelection despite polls showing Trump ahead for the 2024 presidential election. "First, Biden kept his 2020 campaign promises," he said. "By compelling everyone who had a job to get a COVID shot he ended the pandemic. Bidenomics has restored the economy. Money that would've been wasted by private citizens selfishly spending on themselves has been diverted to exciting new green technologies like wind farms and electric cars at the same time that billions have been invested in Ukraine's war with Russia." "Second, the Democratic Party has won the popular vote...
