In a defiant New Year’s address, President Volodymyr Zelensky vowed that Russia would feel the “wrath” of Ukrainian weapons production, including a million new attack drones, and the expected arrival of F-16 fighter jets from the West in the coming year.
Speaking from Kyiv on Sunday evening, Zelensky proclaimed that “Ukraine is alive. Ukraine lives. Ukraine fights” while thanking the efforts of the hundreds of thousands of men fighting on the frontlines and the civilian population for their contributions to the war effort and “holding back the evil that has become even greater.”

Zelinsky lives solely at the pleasure of Putin. One day, he’ll say “enough”, and they’ll vaporize him and his Nazi guards with a hypersonic missile.
He’s sounding like Baghdad Bob, actually.

Give him an F-16.
The F-16 is OLD by modern jet fighter standards.
The Russians will shoot them down quickly.
Common sense tells us the world no longer embraces this old technology because modern jet fighters are far superior.
The delivery and actual use of F-16’s will have little effect on the war. Symbolic only. Keeping these planes safe from air attack while on the ground will be difficult enough.
That’s just my armchair opinion.

Supposedly, they’ve been training...but more likely...they’re hiring pilots and mechanics....off the record.
The F-16 is vulnerable without other planes protecting and coordinating.
How many ‘game changing’ weapons systems have we already wasted on that place?

The problem is that there’s a lot of Intel leak from Ukraine to Russia and vice versa. I assume NATO will probably keep the f-16s in Poland so they don’t get bombed, and then quickly fly, refuel, and arm in Ukraine before operating. An islander could hit them otherwise and they only have a limited amount.
This latest Wunderwaffe will change the course of the war and lead to victory!
