BUJUMBURA, Dec 30 (Reuters) - Burundi's President Evariste Ndayishimiye has called on citizens to stone gay people, escalating a crackdown on sexual minorities in a country where LGBT people already face social ostracism and jail terms of up to two years if convicted of same-sex offences. "If you want to attract a curse to the country, accept homosexuality," Ndayishimiye said in a question and answer session with journalists and the public held in Burundi's east on Friday. "I even think that these people, if we find them in Burundi, it is better to lead them to a stadium and stone...

Well, this week Republican Presidential candidate Nikki Haley said something that upset people who weren’t going to vote for her anyway. At a Town Hall setting someone asked her “What caused the American Civil War?” It’s not at all a question with great relevance 163 years later, but it is a modern litmus test for many people on the left, i.e. people who likely weren’t going to vote for her anyway. History is amazing. Like all hindsight, it can be 20-20 in vision and clarity. Over the past 30 years, this is less and less the case. Led by late-night...

One of my cats had a lot of trouble with constipation. She would spend much time just hanging around the littlebox with no success. The vet recommended mineral oil mixed with food, but that didn't work. I tried squirting it into her mouth with a needleless syringe. That's was difficult for a whole bunch of reasons...and she hid when she needed it most. But Happy Days Are Here Again.I found a solution that works like a charm and thought that some of you pet people might like to consider it.I mix a 1/4 teaspoon of generic non-flavored Miralax (an osmotic laxative)...

Bank records exclusively obtained by DailyMail.com show Hunter Biden used his business account to pay for suspected prostitutes, pimps, smoking paraphernalia, and a DC club frequented by congress members – as well as sending money to his father. The newly uncovered bank records are among the voluminous evidence used by Special Counsel David Weiss to bring nine federal tax charges against Hunter in an indictment claiming he lived a 'lavish lifestyle' while deliberately failing to pay his taxes. The 22-page Wells Fargo statement from September 2018 details a wild and profligate month had by the First Son, even as his...

LOS ANGELES (AP) — Comedian Kathy Griffin has filed for divorce from longtime partner Randy Bick just shy of the couple’s fourth wedding anniversary. Los Angeles Superior Court records show Griffin filed for divorce Thursday, citing irreconcilable differences. The pair dated for several years before marrying on New Year’s Day 2020. They have no children together, and Griffin’s filing says a prenuptial agreement dictates how their assets should be divided. Griffin, 63, was a star of the NBC series “Suddenly Susan” and poked fun at her celebrity on “My Life on the D-List.” Bick has worked as a marketing executive...

Explanation: Known to some in the northern hemisphere as December's Cold Moon or the Long Night Moon, the last full moon of 2023 is rising in this surreal mountain and skyscape. The Daliesque scene was captured in a single exposure with a camera and long telephoto lens near Monte Grappa, Italy. The full moon is not melting, though. Its stretched and distorted appearance near the horizon is caused as refraction along the line of sight changes and creates shifting images or mirages of the bright lunar disk. The changes in atmospheric refraction correspond to atmospheric layers with sharply different temperatures...

Here are some of the key campaign promises Trump has publicly made thus far.1. End Woke Gender IdeologyWhile it did not stand as an issue as pressing as the current day during his...

MTA police officers fatally shot a parolee armed with a loaded Uzi machine pistol in the head as they tried to arrest him late Friday for groping a 19-year-old woman in Queens, authorities said. The armed parolee, identified by police sources as Bashe McDaniel, had done five stints in prison, mostly for weapons possession and was convicted of manslaughter in 1990, according to court records. The woman entered MTA’s Long Island Rail Road headquarters on 91st St. in Jamaica, next door to Jamaica Station at about 10 p.m. Friday and claimed that McDaniel had groped her, MTA Chief of Police...

I think I’ve got this illegal immigration thing figured out! The fact that most of our illegals are military aged males seals the deal. The Democrats and deep state Republicans are taking us to war, in Ukraine, in Israel, in Iran, in Africa and most especially in Tiawan with China. It’s good for the defense industry, it feeds their corruption and bolsters political popularity. They need cannon fodder. Americans will not tolerate for long losing their sons and daughters in the neither regions of the world, but when the “Recruiters” for the reestablished draft show up at the immigrant shelters...

A new Emerson College Polling survey of U.S. voters finds President Biden continuing to trail former President Donald Trump, 43% to 47%, with 9% of voters undecided. Twelve percent are undecided. In a matchup between Joe Biden and Nikki Haley, 39% support both candidates respectively, while 23% are undecided. These numbers reflect last month’s polling, and this month’s survey oversampled young voters to better...

Bidenomics is the pride of the donor class. After all, much of the Federal spending splurge in green energy has gone to big donors, including the Chinese. The top 1% of US earners now have more wealth than the middle class. Biden’s song. All he wanted to do was destroy the US middle class. And The Fed’s snakejuice flows to the 1%.

Californians are bracing for third day of monster surf that has already damaged countless ocean-side properties. During the first round of severe surf Thursday, nearly 20 beachgoers were swept away by a particularly powerful wave that slammed into a barrier in Ventura County. First responders also rescued about 10 people there Friday after the group 'thought they were able to navigate that high surf,' officials said. Two beachgoers then had to pull a lifeguard out of the water as he struggled to make it back ashore, a firefighter told CNN. Though hazards are expected lessen Saturday, waves slamming into California’s...

"Since . . . the children share in flesh and blood, He Himself likewise also partook of the same, that through death He might render powerless him who had the power of death, that is, the devil; and might deliver those who through fear of death were subject to slavery all their lives" (Heb. 2:14-15). Christ came to break the power of Satan which He did by conquering death. To be free to live with God and share in all His blessings, someone had to shatter Satan's death grip on us. Sin is what gives Satan his powerful hold on...

Try to buy anything these days – at a grocery or department store, at a discounter or specialty shop alike, from low end to high end – and you will likely have the same experience, especially in the busy hours of lunch hour, the early evening after work, and of course the weekend: You are going to stand in line longer than you remember from before the so-called pandemic of 2020. Why the difference? Why has so much changed in just a few short years? We all have the same experience – more often in blue states than in red,...

Since opening the gates to unfettered mass migration in 2015, at least 7,000 women have been raped or sexually assaulted in Germany by alleged asylum-seeking illegal migrants, an analysis of government figures has found. A report from the Swiss-German paper of record, Neue Zürcher Zeitung, claimed that statistics from the Federal Criminal Police Office (BKA) show that more than one thousand women — mostly Germans — have been sexually assaulted by migrants seeking refuge every year since 2017.

A highly venomous snake interrupted play during Dominic Thiem's victory against James McCabe at the Brisbane International qualifying event. Former US Open champion Thiem was a set down to Australian McCabe when the snake was spotted near the courtside electrical wires. A 40-minute break in play followed while the reptile was safely removed by a professional snake catcher. "I really love animals, especially exotic ones," Thiem said afterwards. "But they said it was a really poisonous snake and it was close to the ball kids, so it was a really dangerous situation. "It's something that has never happened to me...

I need some advice. I am 67 years old and in a little over a Month I will be having my right shoulder replaced. I am actively enrolled in Medical-Care for health care, but not in any prescription policies. However, I need to figure out which prescription policy would be best for me before I have the surgery. As of right now I have no current prescriptions for anything. Until I began having shoulder problems I have not even seen a general practitioner for over 10 years. Other than my shoulder problem I am healthy as an ox, or at...
