Phoenix prosecutors are seeking the death penalty for a man accused of fatally stabbing a 29-year-old woman on an Arizona hiking trail. Maricopa County Attorney’s Office filed the notice of intent Friday around 5pm - a move the family of late Lauren Heike said they 'support' seven months after the brutal killing. Zion Teasley, 22, is accused of stabbing the esthetician 15 times in the back and chest after stalking her on the Reach 11 trail in broad daylight in April.

VIDEOHOORAH FOR ELECTION INTERFERENCE! Watch as these two demented Democrats celebrate flat out ELECTION INTERFERENCE in Maine. They both conveniently forget that President Donald Trump has NOT been charged with insurrection yet both morons use that as justification for removing him from the ballot. They are about as STUPID (or demented) as the Maine Secretary of State Shenna Bellows who used the insurrection that Trump has NOT been charged with as an excuse to "remove" him from the state's primary ballot. "Remove" has been placed in quotes since Trump has NOT actually been removed from the ballot since this is...

The Sunday that falls in the Octave of the Solemnity of Christmas is dedicated to celebrating the Holy Family. The Readings for this Sunday focus on the rights and responsibilities of family members toward each other, and the Gospel focuses on the role of the “most forgotten” member of the Holy Family, St. Joseph, who cared for and protected the Blessed Mother and infant Jesus through the dangerous early years of Jesus’ childhood. The Lectionary provides different reading options for this Sunday: the celebrant may opt for the “standard” (ABC) readings, or choose the more recently proposed readings for Year...

With the Iowa caucus beginning in just over two weeks and the New Hampshire primary hot on its heels, Gov. Ron DeSantis' once-promising bid to be the Republican Party's 2024 presidential bid seems to be already over. As the (Huffing and Puffington Post) is reporting, the clamor for DeSantis to be the face of the party went nowhere as Donald Trump not only hung onto conservative voters but pulled away from the Florida governor despite DeSantis' political operation that proved to be ineffective — when it wasn't being plagued with infighting and layoffs. Now, with well over $160 million spent...

Friday, during an appearance on FNC’s “Your World,” Gov. Ron DeSantis (R-FL), a candidate for the 2024 Republican presidential nomination, reacted to Maine Secretary of State Shenna Bellows’ decision to remove former President Donald Trump from the state’s primary ballot.DeSantis suggested Florida could remove President Joe Biden from his state’s ballot for his alleged mishandling of border security. However, the Florida GOP governor said the act by Bellows was not an appropriate interpretation of the 14th Amendment and would ultimately be reversed by the Supreme Court.“Well, obviously, to have one executive branch official unilaterally striking someone off the ballot is not...

In an interview with Germany's ARD television in 2008, Russian President Vladimir Putin stated that Moscow recognizes all of Ukraine's borders, and that there is no issue of ethnic conflict in Crimea. His comments, delivered shortly after Russia's military intervention in the Georgian breakaway region of South Ossetia, stand in stark contrast with Moscow's annexation of Crimea in 2014 and its support of armed separatists in eastern Ukraine. Donald Trump has expressed concern that the Supreme Court could back attempts by Colorado and Maine to block him from the Republican primary ballot, according to reports. Both states have moved to exclude Trump over his role in the January 6, 2021, attack by his supporters on the Capitol. The states have accepted legal challenges to Trump's nomination that cite Section 3 of the 14th Amendment to the Constitution, which says office holders cannot 'have engaged in insurrection or rebellion'. Trump has privately expressed concerns that the Supreme Court, to which he appointed three conservative justices while president, may side...

"If there was a free, public domain audio book written by Joseph McCarthy, would you be interested in listening to it?" Just as the question states. Senator Joseph McCarthy wrote several books, what if one or many of them were recorded as open source public domain audio books and given away for/to everybody? Would you be interested in listening and learning from them? Would you share it with others? I'm just curious what people say to this.

Murders and shootings dropped in New York City in 2023 — but the number of assaults continue a troubling upward trend, according to a year-end review of NYPD data. Overall crime in the five boroughs squeaked through the year on a high note — down .5% through Dec. 24 when compared to the same period last year, NYPD data show. Murders declined 11%, with 380 so far this year compared to 429 in 2022. Shootings plunged 24%, with 967 so far this year vs. 1,277 in the same span last year.

If one needs any evidence of American society falling apart, look no further than the newest tradecraft of America's domestic enemies, ‘swatting’; where such enemies exploit the time honored practice of emergency response measures, and turn it into a weapon. Like cross burnings of the past, it is meant to intimidate, produce fear, and in worse cases provoke victims to take actions that could prove fatal. It is in fact, the definition of modern day terrorism. Its continued use will rise exponentially unless Real Americans decide to take action against it.CNN recently defined swatting as “...a prank call made to...

South Africa has filed an application at the International Court of Justice to begin proceedings over allegations of genocide against Israel for its war against Hamas in Gaza, the court said on Friday. South Africa accuses Israel of being “in violation of its obligations under the Genocide Convention” in its application and argues that “acts and omissions by Israel … are genocidal in character, as they are committed with the requisite specific intent … to destroy Palestinians in Gaza,” according to the ICJ.

Was it the jabs? We won't be told unless they definitively prove otherwise. Like so many stories over the past three years, this will be dropped in the memory hole forever... It's almost 2024. Thousands of young and otherwise healthy athletes have died suddenly from either "unknown" causes or "mysterious" heart-related ailments. Numerous tracking groups and researchers have noted the unambiguous correlation between the rise in unexplained deaths and the introduction of the Covid jabs. Some have even implied direct causation. Despite many if not most right-leaning Americans being at least suspicious of the vaccines, not to mention a growing...

Blessings: A pastoral development anchored in traditionItalian Professor Rocco Buttiglione, a member of the Pontifical Academy of Social Sciences, describes the Declaration Fiducia supplicans of the Dicastery for the Doctrine of the Faith as almost revolutionary and a return to the Church's origins and the missionary presence of Christ in human history. The Declaration “Fiducia supplicans” on the pastoral meaning of blessings of the Dicastery for the Doctrine of the Faith marks an authentic pastoral development solidly anchored in Church tradition and its moral theology. The Dicastery's Cardinal Prefect, Víctor Manuel Fernández, wisely prefaces the Declaration with a brief presentation in...

..... Speaking during a visit to the Ramat David Airbase, Gallant said, "The action of the Air Force in all sectors is very impressive, and it is appropriate that the roar of the jets drown out the unnecessary chatter and allow the IDF soldiers to carry out their mission quietly and safely." Bennett, in his op-ed, mentioned that during his term as Prime Minister, Israel destroyed a UAV base on Iranian soil, thwarted an attempted Iranian terror attack on Israeli tourists in Turkey, and shortly afterwards "the commander of that very unit was assassinated in the center of Tehran." Responding...

Did Chinese agents run a hotel at Meiringen military air base for years with the aim of finding out the secrets of the US F-35 fighter jet? There is no direct proof of this. But the evidence was apparently enough for the Bern cantonal police to evacuate the hotel in a discreet operation in late summer. Because of suspicions of Chinese espionage, authorities have also become active elsewhere in recent years. For example, on the campus of the University and ETH Lausanne, where a group of Chinese installed themselves in the publicly accessible library of the Swiss Institute for Comparative...

Journalism schools may someday point to 2023 as the year of a final moral collapse for the corporate media – a point of no return ultimately reached after years of ethical decline and loss of credibility with the public. This year, perhaps more than any other in history, America’s once lionized major news organizations proved they were not about “the news” at all, but about the protection of those in power and partisan politicians they favored. In doing so, they toppled the ethical pillars that once stood as the greatest traditions of American journalism—principles such as: - Expose and relentlessly...

As international pressure grows on Israel to end this war started by our enemy, remember, there is only one victory in Gaza and we must continuously put pressure upon all Jewish organizations as well as all Israeli government officials to understand that. Any other end to this war is unacceptable, since it will allow for the continued threat of the Islamic evil enemy of ours to lash out at us again, any day. There is only one victory in Gaza. We stay in Gaza forever. First with an IDF presence and then with a return of Jewish civilians to the...

A major trend among mainstream media outlets and pundits in 2023 was them attempting to convince Americans the economy has been doing well under President Biden. A majority of Americans consistently tell pollsters that they believe the economy is doing poorly, however, leading to a disconnect of sorts as conditions on the ground don't appear to match with positive economic data like low unemployment and a booming stock market. Several of these outlets have even gone so far as to claim that Americans’ dour outlook on the issue is due to them not seeing things clearly, and clinging to bad...

Is the migrant crisis plaguing the U.S. just the spontaneous movement of the globe's peoples to the U.S. ... or the work of an evil little banana-republic dictator plotting to take down the U.S.? Based on a new report from Agence France-Presse, which ran on the Voice of America's website, it actually looks like the latter: … analysts say that the government of Nicaragua's President Daniel Ortega, a longtime nemesis of the United States, has deliberately made it easier for migrants to bypass the Darien by flying straight into his country and then heading north overland. Manuel Orozco, a migration...
