An upper respiratory infection has been sickening dogs across the country, sometimes leading to acute pneumonia and death might now be at bit more understood. According to Dr. David Needle and colleagues at the University of New Hampshire College of Life Sciences and Agriculture, note a mysterious respiratory illness that has sickened at least hundreds and perhaps as many as thousands of dogs across the country could be caused by a new type of bacterial infection that may be very good at evading the canine immune system, as well at least some antibiotics. In a development that might help shed...

Black Friday isn’t what it used to be! Shoppers in the Big Apple favored affordable brands like Zara and Abercrombie & Fitch over high-end retailers like New York’s famous Bergdorf Goodman on the busiest shopping day of the year Friday — as concerns about inflation hit a 12-year high. Bargain hunters who hit the brick-and-mortar stores to try and snap up Black Friday deals told The Post that the savings are getting smaller.

Some respondents noted why they believe that former President Trump and Republicans may attract an unprecedented portion of the African American vote next year, claiming that Black men like the party’s message of financial independence. The Times' "The Run-Up" podcast involved its host, reporter Astead Herndon, going home for Thanksgiving and interviewing his various...

Hundreds of “radicalized” kids rampaged through the halls of a Queens high school this week for nearly two hours after they discovered a teacher had attended a pro-Israel rally — forcing the terrified educator to hide in a locked office as the teen mob tried to push its way into her classroom, The Post has learned. The mayhem at Hillcrest High School in Jamaica unfolded shortly after 11 a.m. Monday in what students called a pre-planned protest over the teacher’s Facebook profile photo showing her at a pro-Israel rally on Queens Oct. 9 holding a poster saying, “I stand with...

In 2032, India will need a billion tonnes of coal, partly to charge EVs in urban areas via power generated by thermal plants. Five Indian cities, including the capital, New Delhi, consistently rank in the world’s top ten worst air-polluted cities. Vehicular emissions are significant contributors; Delhi alone has around four million cars – no wonder the government of India is promoting electric vehicles (EVs) on a large scale. While India’s target is a 30% market share of EVs by 2030, the share is currently only 1.1%. Moreover, concerns exist about whether EVs are a green option if pollution is...

A couple years ago, I wrote a piece for The Wall Street Journal lamenting how companies I patronize have turned increasingly political and woke. Many speciously echoed Democratic Party claims that Georgia’s recent voting law is racist without specifying how so. Others have been woke for a long time and are becoming more political by the day. I received many dozens of messages—more than I’ve ever received about anything I’ve ever written—and the piece generated nearly 2,000 comments on the WSJ website

“The state of Israel will be based on freedom, justice and peace in the spirit of the visions of the prophets of Israel,” is what it says literally in Israel’s Declaration of Independence from 1948. What were Israel’s politicians and rabbis thinking back then when they appealled to the prophets and mentioned their prophecies in the declaration of the founding of the Jewish state? The biblical promise was the political trigger for the founding of the State of Israel. So someone must have perceived the visions of the prophets, and that is not something that can be taken for granted,...
