Tenth-graders at a Missouri high school last week had to watch a slideshow on “oppression and privilege” that appears to violate state law by using information from a Planned Parenthood affiliate that lists abortion clinics on its website. The website of the Planned Parenthood affiliate tells teens about “porn literacy” and “hookups” for casual sex. The class of sophomores at Webster Groves High School near St. Louis watched a slideshow titled “Being an Ally,” which lists so-called oppression categories as “racial,” “class,” “gender,” “sexual orientation,” “religion,” and “immigration status.” “It’s wrong to teach that different categories of human beings are...

Ohio’s Issue 1 referendum is a contentious proposal that will undoubtedly impact the future of abortion policy within Ohio for the foreseeable future. So far, groups from within and outside the state have dumped more than $40 million into debating the so-called abortion rights amendment. However, some major policies outside the realm of the abortion debate will be impacted if voters write the language of the Issue 1 referendum into the Ohio State Constitution. Highly credentialed legal scholars have argued that Issue 1 will likely impact state policy on transgender medical procedures – including for minors whose sexual body parts...

On November 7, the U.S. Supreme Court will hear argument in U.S. v. Rahimi to determine whether laws that prohibit possession of firearms by persons subject to restraining orders are constitutionally permissible. The ruling could lead courts to invalidate “red flag” laws in more than 20 states across the country. While we will not know the outcome until 2024, this court has already made it abundantly clear over the last 15 years that it will take every opportunity to curtail common-sense gun regulations, even as gun deaths skyrocket in the wake of their rulings. Gun reform advocates have been fighting...

Call it “The Rich Men North Of Richmond” economy. Where the coastal elites drive the US economy off the cliff with insane spending and borrowing with much of the benefits flowing to big political donors, not the middle class. Think of Span Bankfraud Parboiled as an example. President Biden loves to spend billions and go on endless vacations (he is in Rehobeth Beach Delaware yet again). He (illegally) forgave student debt, keeps spending billions on Ukraine and keeps spending on failed green energy nightmares. Biden and his allies will tout the latest GDP numbers as an example of how marvelous...

On Nov. 7, Ohio voters will go to the polls to vote on Issue 1, an amendment to the state’s constitution that would enshrine the right to abortion until about 24 weeks of pregnancy, when a baby is viable outside its mother’s womb. Currently, women in the Buckeye State can get an abortion until 21 weeks of pregnancy. The amendment’s wording—“Every individual has a right to make and carry out one’s own reproductive decisions”—has also raised concerns about sex-change surgeries for minors. Critics of the amendment say the ambiguous language may create a constitutional right for children to undergo procedures...

Artists have been fighting back on a number of fronts against artificial intelligence companies that they say steal their works to train AI models — including launching class-action lawsuits and speaking out at government hearings. Now, visual artists are taking a more direct approach: They're starting to use tools that contaminate and confuse the AI systems themselves. One such tool, Nightshade, won't help artists combat existing AI models that have already been trained on their creative works. But Ben Zhao, who leads the research team at the University of Chicago that built the soon-to-be-launched digital tool, says it promises to...

The stepdaughter of Vice President Harris is publicly raising money for Gaza, The Post has learned. Ella Emhoff, 24 — whose father, First Gentleman Doug Emhoff, is Jewish — affixed a fundraising drive “supporting urgent relief for Gaza’s children” on her personal Instagram account. It makes no mention of the scores of Israeli children murdered among the 1,400 innocent Israelis killed by Hamas terrorists on Oct. 7. Her promotion puts the funding appeal in front of her 315,000 Instagram followers. The fundraiser, which has netted more than $7.8 million so far, is being operated by the Palestinian Children’s Relief Fund,...

Ross Abramson, a software engineer and recent New York University graduate, had a fairly conventional news diet until recently. He regularly checked his phone for The New York Times and The Wall Street Journal. And as a Jew with an interest in Israel, he would browse a handful of outlets like The Times of Israel. Then the brutal Hamas-led attack on Israel happened on Oct. 7, and Mr. Abramson found himself turning to an outlet he said he didn’t rely on much before: Fox News.

An 18-year-old Chicago man managed to violently rob a sporting goods store while out on pretrial release with seven previous cases pending, officials say. Jaquan Bush, who has six prior juvenile cases, was out on bond for an adult charge of possessing a stolen motor vehicle when he entered a Champs store in the city’s expensive Loop neighborhood on September 17, CWB Chicago reported. Prosecutors alleged Bush grabbed a Nike jacket off a display rack and rushed for the door. He was confronted by the store manager, who believed he recognized Bush from a previous robbery, and a struggle ensued....

Rep. Robert Garcia (D-CA) and Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-MA) are pushing legislation to require background checks for ammunition purchases. They are joined by other Democrats, including Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz (D-FL). The Democrats are pushing the Ammunition Modernization and Monitoring Oversight Act, or AMMO Act for short. In addition to requiring background checks for ammo purchases, Redstate noted the Act would also limit the number of rounds law-abiding citizens can buy over a five-day period and mandate that ammo dealers get a license separate from the Federal Firearms License (FFL) required for gun sales.

This list only includes destroyed vehicles and equipment of which photo or videographic evidence is available. Therefore, the amount of equipment destroyed is significantly higher than recorded here. Loitering munitions, drones used as unmanned bait, civilian vehicles and derelict equipment are not included in this list. All possible effort has gone into avoiding duplicate entries and discerning the status of equipment between captured or abandoned. Many of the entries listed as 'abandoned' will likely end up captured or destroyed. Similarly, some of the captured equipment might be destroyed if it can't be recovered. When a vehicle is captured and then...
