The GOP-led House passed a Department of the Interior and environmental funding bill on Friday. The bill, formally titled the "Department of the Interior, Environment, and Related Agencies Appropriations Act, 2024" includes the budget for the Environmental Protection Agency. The legislation passed 213-203, marking the 7th of 12 appropriations bills to fund the federal government for fiscal 2024 that the House has passed so far. Congress has until Nov. 17 to pass a spending bill that funds government operations to avoid a shutdown.
