America’s top universities are consumed by Israel Derangement Syndrome. It cannot be overstated how important American Jewish culture has been to modern American life. American Jews helped shape their nation’s psyche. So to see the violent deaths of Jewish men, women and children in Israel being blamed on the Jews themselves, and by the American left no less, is a watershed moment in US history. American Jews have long felt that America was, outside of Israel, the safest and most welcoming country for them. After the events of the past few weeks, that looks to be no longer the case.Unfortunately, I...

Why don't quite a number of GOP House members just admit they don't want to be in a political party, don't understand what having a political majority can mean for all members of the party, and just want to stand out instead of being included - so why don't they just leave their party and be done with it, and provide the inevitable, handing the speaker role to the Dims.

Hundreds of American citizens are trapped in the besieged Gaza Strip under constant Israeli bombardment and have received no help in finding ways to escape, according to interviews with individuals on the ground. The State Department says as many as 600 Americans are in the enclave that since Oct. 7 has come under heavy retaliatory airstrikes by Israel after the Palestinian militant group Hamas, which governs Gaza, launched a terror attack against southern Israel that killed at least 1,300 people. “America’s not helping us, Biden’s not helping us, the embassy is not helping us,” Amir Kaoud, a Palestinian-American at the...

Kornik just weeks into the German occupation of Poland in 1939, fruit of a pre-planned Nazi project to secure the new territory as lebensraum. Operation Tannenberg (English Wikipedia entry | German | Polish) could be seen as a vanguard for the mind-boggling exterminations to come in subsequent years, cementing the army’s commitment to a campaign that extended well beyond territorial conquest. Alexander Rossino examines this understudied segment of World War II in Hitler Strikes Poland: Blitzkrieg, Ideology, and Atrocity and contends that “the unlimited, almost nihilistic violence of the Wehrmacht” emerges first in these initial weeks of the Polish campaign,...

About two weeks into the Israeli-Hamas war, the Israeli Prime Minister's office has released some grim new arithmetic: 1,400 Israelis dead, 4,800 injured, and "at least 30 of the abductees are children under the age of 16." "Two weeks have passed since the attack on the seventh of October," the briefing began. "Israel demands the release of the abductees without conditions. We want our children at home." The Israeli Defense Force has also confirmed that 10 to 20 of the 203 kidnapped Israelis are 60 years old or older, the prime minister's office said. And it said some 7,380 missiles...

One of the pro-Donald Trump fake electors charged in Michigan has agreed to cooperate with state prosecutors in exchange for getting his case dismissed. James Renner, 76, is the first defendant to strike a deal with prosecutors. Attorney General Dana Nessel, a Democrat, charged the group of 16 fake electors earlier this year. This is the most significant development in the case since Nessel filed the charges in July. She was the first prosecutor in the nation to charge anyone in connection with the Trump-backed fake elector scheme. As part of the deal, Renner agreed to provide “complete and truthful...

Atlantic hurricanes are over twice as likely to quickly intensify into major storms in the past two decades compared to a comparable period in the late 20th century, according to research published Thursday in the journal Scientific Reports. Author Andra Garner of New Jersey’s Rowan University analyzed more than 800 tropical cyclones originating in the Atlantic since 1971. She found that this century, storms grew from Category 1 minor storms to major hurricanes—those with winds of at least 111 miles per hour — within 24 hours 8.1 percent of the tine. Comparatively, storms only intensified that quickly 3.2 percent of...

In 1912, a farmer found an unusual, ancient-looking limestone tablet in his field. It seemed to have an exotic language, that he’d never seen before, chiseled into its surface. Over the next 50 years, he showed the stone to family, friends, and even took it to the fair, hoping to find anyone that could decipher it, but no one ever could.Fast forward to the late 1990's, and someone not only deciphered it, but tied it to the legend of Prince Madoc. As the story goes, Madoc sailed to North America from Wales, in the year 1170, 322 years before Christopher...

VIDEOThe most shocking thing about watching Joe Biden returning on his FAILED visit to Israel aboard Air Force One might not have been his obvious physical deterioration along with his brain freezes. We already knew he was quite frail and mentally challenged. Instead it might have been the sight of John Kirby standing near him because he appeared to be incredibly short. I never before gave any thought to Kirby's height because I have always seen him speaking and answering questions by himself at a podium so I assumed he was of at least average height. However, aboard Air Force...

While the Arab states make a hue and cry about Israel’s wrongdoings in Gaza, they themselves are not doing anything to help Palestinians in distress US Presidential aspirant, Nikki Haley has put the cat amongst the pigeons by asking some straight questions. She stated, “You're going to hear all those Arab countries vilify Israel for what's about to happen. You're going to hear all of them say, how dare you not do more for the Palestinian people?” and then posed bluntly, “But where are the Arab countries? Where are they? Where is Qatar? Where is Lebanon? Where is Jordan? Where...

The Hyper Tourer may be able to tell when you need some Barry White and a little mood lighting. Nissan has been revealing a series of concepts ahead of this month’s Japan Mobility Show. We saw the Hyper Urban, a road-going EV crossover and the Hyper Adventure, a more off-road-ready EV crossover. But the latest concept to emerge has us a bit more excited. It’s called the Hyper Tourer. It looks like a wild JDM van. And it has some downright futuristic (and kind of alarming) features. Here’s what we know about it. The Hyper Tourer is not your typical...

The outlook of Americans on the economy has turned increasingly pessimistic, mirroring the view of economists who see less growth next year. Back in January, when asked by pollsters for the Economist/YouGov survey whether they thought the economy was getting better or worse, half of Americans chose worse. Around 18 percent said they thought it was getting better. Twenty-four percent said it was staying the same. Nine percent said they weren’t sure.
