About two weeks into the Israeli-Hamas war, the Israeli Prime Minister's office has released some grim new arithmetic: 1,400 Israelis dead, 4,800 injured, and "at least 30 of the abductees are children under the age of 16."
"Two weeks have passed since the attack on the seventh of October," the briefing began. "Israel demands the release of the abductees without conditions. We want our children at home."
The Israeli Defense Force has also confirmed that 10 to 20 of the 203 kidnapped Israelis are 60 years old or older, the prime minister's office said. And it said some 7,380 missiles "have been launched towards Israel."
In retaliation, the prime minister's office said "over 100 targets in Gaza were attacked during the night, including underground tunnels and Hamas headquarters. A senior Hamas operative was eliminated."

And yet terrorist supporters flood the chambers of congress led by Palestinian terrorist sympathizers elected as congress members themselves.
Yet almost the entirety of the Mainstream Media and Social Media are firmly on the side of Hamas, and absolutely nothing will make them budge.
If the live cams in Gaza are believable, the attacks are continuing.
War hysteria is running hot enough. Would these Hamas animals be willing enough to martyr half of Gaza City by beheading atrocities? If the aim is total regional war, that would do it.
I’m not a student of history, but I would be hard pressed to find a more persecuted and targeted people then the Jews.

One of the scenes in the raw video was a body cam as the IDF went through a house that had been ransacked by HAMAS. The heartbreaking part was when they went into the bathroom and next to the toilet was a little kid toilet. And then they moved on to the bedroom and there was tons of blood in the bed.

I’ve wondered what the appropriate metric for murder is.
Is it constant, such that 1 murder is just as bad as any number?
Is it linear, such that 2 murders are twice as bad as one?
Is it logarithmic, such that 100 murders are twice as bad as 10?
Is it proportional, such that murdering 2% of a group is twice as bad as murdering 1% of a group that is twice as large, even though the number of murders is the same?
Is there any information about how many of the dead and hostage are civilian versus military?

It’s a serious question. The MSM treats murder very differently depending on how many were murdered, their identity, the size of their community, the motives of the murderer, etc.
Is such treatment valid?
Are “mass murders” (4 or more by the same murderer) worse than an individual murderer?
Is the murder of a rabbi in a synagogue worse than a bodega owner in his store? How about if it’s the bodega owner and three clerks?
Since Ukraine is about 4 times larger than Israel, are 40,000 dead Ukrainian soldiers equal to 10,000 dead IDF soldiers? Or 140,000 dead Russians?
It all depends on the narrative they want to put out.....Dems slaughter innocent people every day and media doesn’t care ....Dems treat military like garbage and media doesn’t care....... dems allow shootings and looting and destruction and media doesn’t care........Buuuuuuuuut,one white cop shoots one black criminal and all hell reigns down from the media.....
