In a recent Lifeway poll they found only 2% of churches in the USA teach Bible prophecy. This is an amazing latter-days stat for several reasons: 1- Roughly 30% of the Bible is prophetic. They’re ignoring almost 1/3 of the scriptures. 2- 100% accuracy in past prophecies fulfilled literally separates the Bible from every other book on the planet. It not only claims to be written by God, it proves it by predicting the future. 3- The entire Book of Revelation was prophetic when written. Today everything from Revelation 6 forward is still in the future and likely to be...

We are on our way to Net Zero by 2050. It must be true because everybody says so. The entire $6+ trillion per year federal government is committed to the project, which obviously would not be the case if the whole thing were impossible. Equally fully committed are essentially all of the colleges and universities, where all of the smartest people are to be found. As well as every other elite institution of every kind and sort. Take the World Economic Forum. If there is a number one elitest among all elite institutions, this has to be it. At their...

A county in eastern China is offering couples a “reward” of 1,000 yuan ($137) if the bride is aged 25 or younger, the latest in a series of measures to incentivise young people to get married amid rising concern over a declining national birthrate. The notice, which was published on Changshan county’s official WeChat account last week, said the reward was to promote “age-appropriate marriage and childbearing” for first marriages. It also included a series of childcare, fertility and education subsidies for couples who have children.

SÃO PAULO – During a funeral Mass of a major figure in the Brazilian Church on August 28, a Muslim sheikh ended up receiving communion, sparking controversy among part of the local community and traditionalist Catholics all over Brazil, who called what happened a “sacrilege.” Cardinal Geraldo Majella Agnelo, who played a central role in the Brazilian Church for several decades, died on August 26. He was the archbishop of Londrina, Paraná state, for many years, until he took over the Archdiocese of Salvador, becoming the primate of Brazil. Agnelo, one of the founders of the Child Pastoral Ministry in...

…The under-regulation of homeschooling and Christian schools is a nationwide issue – one Americans should be even more concerned about in light of the recent growth of homeschooling and state-funded “school choice” programmes. The book-banning right’s current moral panic over LGBTIQ inclusion and so-called “critical race theory” in public schools, with “parental rights” as its rallying cry, has led to a renewed legislative push for “choice” in conservative states. This follows on the heels of an apparently very successful right-wing effort to use the pandemic to attack public schools – not least over reasonable vaccination and masking policies – and...

... The government’s new strategy is called the “Global Civilization Initiative.” And it’s become a major weapon in the Chinese party-state’s foreign propaganda arsenal. The initiative was first announced by Chinese President Xi Jinping in March. It complements two previously announced (and similarly named) diplomatic tools: the Global Development Initiative and Global Security Initiative. Together, these intentionally vague concepts are designed to expand China’s influence over international institutions and norms. They also advance Xi’s plan for the “great renewal of the Chinese nation.” ... China’s new initiative could have significant repercussions for human rights. First, in contrast to the respect...

A Russian passenger jet built almost entirely with domestically manufactured components completed its first test flight on August 29, a launch that gave Yakovlev Design Bureau and United Aircraft Corporation’s (UAC) respective shares on the Moscow Exchange a buoyant lift. Designed by Yakovlev and manufactured by UAC at its Komsomolsk-na-Amure factory, the new Sukhoi Superjet 100 (SSJ-100) is a narrow-body regional aircraft with a range of 4,578 kilometers (2,472 nautical miles) that can carry 87 to 108 passengers depending on seat configurations. It aims to compete with Brazil’s narrow-body, short to medium-range Embraer E190 on global markets. During the test...

According to Defense News, the US Army has canceled its planned upgrade of the Abrams Tank and is considering a different approach for the tank’s future. The Army is basically saying the tank is too heavy and too vulnerable to enemy weapons. Heavy European tanks and armored vehicles have faced operational problems in Ukraine, often getting stuck in the mud or running out of fuel. In addition, European tanks have proven vulnerable to enemy fire. In many cases, Germany’s Leopard tank – a tank that was considered superior to the Abrams – has not performed well. The Russians have already...

CV NEWS FEED // The parents of four female students sued a Michigan school district for a pro-“trans” policy that allowed boys to use the girls’ bathroom at school. According to National Review, the suit was filed “in the district court for the Western District of Michigan last week.” It accuses “the district, its superintendent, assistant superintendent, and two principals of seven civil rights and Title IX violations.” The lawsuit accused the district of “the intentional violation of children’s fundamental right to bodily privacy contrary to constitutional and statutory principles, including the Fourteenth Amendment.” “Although Plaintiffs are hard-working, high achieving...

On Saturday, August 26, three African Americans were murdered by a 21-year-old white gunman at the Dollar General Store in Jacksonville, Florida, who then shot himself. The murderer was motivated, Jacksonville Sheriff T K Waters reported, by an “ideology of hate.” The shooting took place 15 months after 10 African Americans were murdered in another racially motivated shooting at a grocery store in Buffalo. Racial violence against Blacks has scarred America since the first slaves were forcibly shipped to America. The Jacksonville murders, for example, took place one day after the 63d anniversary of Ax Handle Saturday, where 200 Ku...

On the evening of July 17, 2020, one of two things happened on a blocked thoroughfare in Charlottesville, Virginia. Either Morgan Bettinger, a rising senior at UVA, uttered a threatening and contemptible remark to Black Lives Matter protestors who were barring her way home. Or the young woman made an anodyne comment that was immediately—and perhaps intentionally—misunderstood. A new lawsuit filed by Bettinger asks a jury to find that the University of Virginia, in responding to the incident, violated her rights. The Bettinger affair—since covered by the New York Post, Reason, The Daily Mail (UK), and numerous other outlets—turns on...

A school district in California has been accused by a conservative legal group of wrongfully prohibiting a Christian student club from meeting at a local elementary school. Hayward Unified School District allegedly rejected multiple requests from Child Evangelism Fellowship to let one of its Good News Club chapters meet at Fairview Elementary School. Liberty Counsel recently sent a letter to HUSD Superintendent Jason Reimann demanding that the school district “immediately approve CEF’s renewed facilities use request to hold a Good News Club after school on campus at Fairview Elementary School.” “Prior to COVID-19, a Good News Club was held for...

A Virginia school board is being asked to clarify its policy on prayer after the board president would not allow a local resident to use her public comment time to pray for the school district. At an Aug. 10 school board meeting in Suffolk, resident Angela Kilgore offered to use the remainder of her allotted comment time to pray “for Suffolk public schools” and its board members when she was prevented from doing so by Board Chair Tyron Riddick. “I apologize, we can't do that,” he replied. “Why can't we?” Kilgore said. “I like to pray for our students in...
