President Biden received a fact-check and a large dose of social media ridicule after getting a major point of his climate policy wrong in a recent post on the X platform (formerly Twitter). In a post touting the Inflation Reduction Act, the administration’s key economic and climate legislation that was passed last year, Biden’s official account got the target date wrong for when the United States power grid would be powered by 81% clean energy. The post received an official X "Community Notes" message noting the error and backlash from critics for the obvious blunder, and took heat from others...

The recent parting of ways between the Southern Baptist Convention and Saddleback Church focused on the status of women with regard to pastoral leadership and ministry, but a recent video clip of the Southern California church’s senior pastors, Andy and Stacie Wood, suggests that the problem is much deeper than the presenting issue. Leading worship while dressed as characters from the Toy Storyfranchise suggests theological problems that go way beyond debates about the nature of Paul’s teaching on eldership.

At least 80 foreign countries fund companies in the city?• Joe Biden, who gets his orders from Barack Obama, Susan Rice and Deep State leadership, in 2021, gave up the U.S. air base and $85 billion in military assets in Afghanistan–and much of this went to China? • Russia confirmed what others globally have been exposing: that the war in money-laundering Ukraine is backlash for the Deep State’s creation and usage...

A Chicago private school teacher was arrested and charged with attempted production of child pornography after authorities discovered him at Miami International Airport with a teenager. Emilio Amado Vrdoljak was in the airport with a 17-year-old Argentinian boy on June 29 after a flight from Buenos Aires when he was stopped, court documents said, according to FOX 32. The boy told investigators that Vrdoljak was his English teacher and that he was staying with Vrdoljak in the U.S. for two weeks as part of his studies. The boy said Vrdoljak asked him to sleep in the same bed while they...

Biden, who is vacationing in the Lake Tahoe area, was asked by a reporter on Friday if he could say anything about the uptick of COVID cases and a new variant. "Yes, I can," the president said. "I signed off this morning on a proposal we have to present to Congress a request for additional funding for a new vaccine that is necessary, that...

Donald Trump's campaign claims it has raised $7.1 million in donations since taking his historic mugshot following his Georgia arrest. The Trump 2024 presidential campaign attributed the remarkable upswing to the former U.S. President's tweet showcasing his own mugshot as he asked supporters for contributions to 'evict' President Joe Biden. 'I walked into the lion's den with one simple message on behalf of our entire movement: I WILL NEVER SURRENDER OUR MISSION TO SAVE AMERICA,' Trump wrote on X (formerly Twitter) Thursday. He then asked supporters to make a campaign contribution 'to evict' President Joe Biden 'during this dark chapter...

A majority of Democrat voters who backed President Joe Biden in 2020 think the investigations and criminal indictments against Donald Trump constitute "an interference in the 2024 presidential election," according to a new poll conducted exclusively for Newsweek. The Redfield & Wilton Strategies survey reveals a majority in every age group, gender and geographic location, except for the Northeast, think Trump's ongoing legal difficulties constitute election interference in a major boost to the Republican frontrunner. On Thursday, Trump was arrested and then released on a $200,000 bond over claims he broke the law attempting to overturn the 2020 presidential election...

Kyle Rittenhouse is facing a lawsuit from the estate of one of the men he shot in self-defense. The lawsuit was timely filed on the third anniversary of the death of 36-year-old Joseph Rosenbaum Friday. Rittenhouse was acquitted of all criminal charges surrounding the incident a year later Rosenbaum's estate is also targeting the City of Kenosha, its officials, the City of West Allis, six local Sheriff’s departments, and two police departments for “compensatory and punitive damages” over what it refers to as Rosenbaum's “wrongful death.” During Rittenhouse's trial, witnesses confirmed that Rosenbaum reached for Rittenhouse's gun during the Black...

Sometimes it’s better to let your curiosity rest for a little while, especially when a violent despot takes charge of the region you want to do geological studies on. That was the takeaway lesson for Adolf Schlagintweit (English Wikipedia page | German) when Wali Khan discharged the German explorer’s head in 1857 in the Kashgar region of present-day China. Schlagintweit and his brothers, Hermann and Robert, were in pursuit of knowledge, following up Hermann and Adolf’s drab and long-titled work Untersuchungen über die physikalische Geographie der Alpen, in ihren Beziehungen zu den phänomenon der Gletscher, zur Geologie, Meteorologie, und Pflanzengeographie...

The conduct of Fani Willis, Alvin Bragg, Jack Smith, Dana Nessel and their ilk needs to be compared to the conduct of disgraced and disbarred Durham County, NC prosecuting attorney Mike Nifong. Nobody in conservative talk radio is making this comparison. They ought to start banging on this drum immediately. The decision of the NC Bar disciplinary commission can be found here. It makes for very interesting reading. https://www.ncbar.gov/orders/06dhc35.pdf

If you can make your way through the rhetorical fog, should it pass, the initiative on the ballot this November would—plain and simple— enshrine unlimited abortion as part of the Ohio Constitution. “Issue 1” would have raised the threshold to change the Ohio state constitution from a simple majority vote to a vote of 60%. That lost 57% to 43% with about 1.7 million people voting against it, and about 1.3 million people voting in favor of it. There have been many pro-Amendment articles in the state press. Anti-Amendment articles? Not so much. One of the very best of the...

A judge has issued a ruling confirming that the state of West Virginia can ban the dangerous abortion pill to protect women and save babies from abortions. The abortion drug manufacturer GenBioPro filed a lawsuit that challenges a ban on abortion drugs in West Virginia. GenBioPro, which manufactures the generic chemical abortion drug mifepristone, asked the court to render the state’s pro-life laws unconstitutional, claiming that Congress gave the Food and Drug Administration the power to mandate nationwide access to dangerous chemical abortions—preempting West Virginia’s duly-enacted pro-life laws that protect the lives of the unborn and mothers. But a federal...

Now that men cannot rely on abortions anymore to shirk their parental responsibilities, many are requesting permanent sterilizations or vasectomies instead. And the abortion chain Planned Parenthood is stepping up to meet their requests. America’s biggest abortion business is doing more and more vasectomies. And its doing them for free in a mobile trailer ironically called “The Nutcracker.” You can’t make this up. Here’s what’s happening in Missouri, a pro-life state where unborn babies are protected from abortions. Planned Parenthood in Missouri will carry out 100 free vasectomies in October for uninsured or underinsured men to celebrate World Vasectomy Day....

An abortionist from Michigan who killed thousands of babies in abortions has passed away. And his abortion business has closed as a result. Criminal abortionist Thomas Gordon died Thursday at age 74. According to Lynn Mills, Director of Pro-Life Michigan, he spent his last day on this earth killing children by abortion. The clinic he operated, Heritage Clinic for Women in Grand Rapids, Michigan, is reportedly permanently closed as a result. In addition to thousands of babies who lost their lives by his hands, Gordon had a long rap sheet of offenses, including assault and domestic violence charges. His Michigan...

A federal court has ruled that a group of interfaith parents have no proof that a school district violated their right to free expression by removing an option to opt their students out of lessons teaching LGBT ideology that conflicts with their religious values. Parents from Muslim, Christian and Jewish backgrounds sued to restore their right to shield their children from content deemed offensive and pushing sexual indoctrination after the Montgomery County Public Schools (MCPS) enacted a no-opt-out policy. Books that the parents object to for pre-K through fifth grades as part of an LGBT curriculum include Pride Puppy and...
