Lawyers for Montgomery County parents argued in court Wednesday morning in defense of the freedom to opt children out of coursework that promotes acceptance of homosexuality and transgenderism. Outside the courthouse more than 50 parents gathered for a rally in support of parents’ and students’ religious rights. Represented by Becket, a law firm specializing in religious rights cases, a coalition of primarily Muslim, Catholic, and Eastern Orthodox Christian parents are fighting back against the Montgomery County Board of Education for mandating instruction of materials that the parents say conflict with their faith. Maryland law requires that school districts allow parents...

Pray For The Peace of JerusalemJohn 4Many Samaritans Believe 39 Many of the Samaritans from that town believed in him because of the woman’s testimony, “He told me everything I ever did.” 40 So when the Samaritans came to him, they urged him to stay with them, and he stayed two days. 41 And because of his words many more became believers. 42 They said to the woman, “We no longer believe just because of what you said; now we have heard for ourselves, and we know that this man really is the Savior of the world.” _______________________________________________________New International Version...

Justice and politics demand that Biden be impeached. With the most consequential presidential election looming, House Republicans have an obligation to take the fight to Democrats. We see that congressional Republicans’ constipation has flared up again. It’s a chronic, though voluntary, distress. Joe Biden, Merrick Garland, and Alejandro Mayorkas are begging to be impeached, yet Speaker Kevin McCarthy and other bunged-up House Republicans refuse to extrude. It’s time to -- well, you know what -- or get off the flippin’ pot. True justice -- unfashionable among most “progressives” -- demands action. And politics -- a dirty word to dainty Republicans...

Former President Donald Trump has many reasons to avoid the Republican primary debates. The quality of the Republican field ranks near the top of the list. But the former president has made a decision that could prevent him from participating in the debates even if he wished. According to Fox News, Trump told Newsmax’s Eric Bolling on Wednesday that he will not pledge his unconditional support for the GOP’s eventual nominee. “I can name three or four people that I wouldn’t support for president,” Trump said of his fellow candidates. “So right there, there’s a problem, OK?”

Remember the unmasking of phone calls of Trump administration members? If not, here's an old article on the subject: https://www.nationalreview.com/2017/04/susan-rice-unmasking-trump-campaign-members-obama-administration-fbi-cia-nsa Since there is "precedence" for this behavior, this technique can be used to reveal exactly what any of the Bidens were discussing with their overseas business partners, possibly including Joe himself. NSA records literally everything transmitted over air and since at least 9/11 has been slurping up everything on overseas lines at the switching equipment. Even if the switch taps are no longer in place, overseas cables are tapped by now (if they haven't been from the get go).

That silence you hear these dog days of a wilting empire is the calm before the storm and everybody knows it. “Joe Biden’s” final desperate ploy against the menace of Donald Trump looks about on par with the Ukraine spring offensive, hardly even worth a “hey, nice try.” So, the best they could do was to charge Mr. Trump with objecting vocally to an election that looked as rotten as Hunter’s uncapped teeth? We all saw what happened overnight November 3 and 4, 2020: what the numbers looked like in the swing precincts at midnight and the magic mathematics that...

On Tuesday, Ohio voters resoundingly rejected Issue One, an attempt by Republican legislators to change the rules of the state's ballot initiative process designed to sabotage an upcoming vote on an amendment to protect reproductive rights. Republicans had clearly hoped that this rules change would fly under the radar in a low-turnout August vote. It didn't pan out that way. Activists on the ground in Ohio recognized the threat, mobilized to get national attention, and successfully got out the vote around the state. Our organization, , was one of several national networks to support them. Once again, the pro-choice, pro-democracy...

LIN (Albania) (AFP) – Beneath the turquoise waters of Lake Ohrid, the "Pearl of the Balkans", scientists have uncovered what may be one of Europe's earliest sedentary communities, and are trying to solve the mystery of why it sheltered behind a fortress of defensive spikes. A stretch of the Albanian shore of the lake once hosted a settlement of stilt houses some 8,000 years ago, archaeologists believe, making it the oldest lakeside village in Europe discovered to date. Radiocarbon dating from the site puts it at between 6000 and 5800 BC. "It is several hundred years older than previously known...

More than 100 people attended the nearly two-hour town hall for a passionate and heartfelt discussion.... ....A spokesperson for Florida's education commissioner says the standards are in-depth and comprehensive. But critics say the standards are suppressing the bad parts of Black history and overstating the good parts, pointing out an update that requires teachers to talk about the skills African Americans gained while enslaved that could have led to their personal benefit. "For us to be sitting here in 2023 and trying to say that there was a benefit to slavery is appalling,” said the president of the United Teachers...

Fifth U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals Judge Jennifer Walker Elrod declared in court that the Biden administration's efforts to persuade social media companies to remove, throttle and suppress purported misinformation on COVID-19, Hunter Biden's laptop and elections reminded her of a mafia movie. That was just one of the most memorable examples of the frosty reception Justice Department Civil Division lawyer Daniel Tenny received Thursday from the three-judge panel considering whether to lift or modify last month's ban on several forms of contact between the feds and companies — currently stayed by the 5th Circuit — as the First Amendment...

One of the devil’s greatest achievements in our age of biological science and evolutionary thinking has been to convince natural science-and-evolution worshipping Westerners to believe that all that exists is the evolving universe of matter and energy (naturalism). The only problem, and it’s a really big one because unresolvable, is that though evolutionists have tried several different anti-creation models of the universe none can account for life, conscious life, and information. Additionally, recent research has shot them full of holes, leaving evolutionists with the hated Big Bang model.

A first group of six Ukrainian pilots is not expected to complete training on the U.S.-made F-16 before next summer, senior Ukrainian government and military officials said, following a series of delays by Western partners in implementing an instruction program for the sophisticated fighter jet. The timeline reflects the disconnect between Ukraine’s supporters, who envision F-16s as a key tool in the country’s long-term defense, and Kyiv, which has desperately requested that the jets reach the battle space as soon as possible, viewing them as critical for the current fight against occupying Russian forces. President Biden, after denying Ukrainian appeals...
