New voices are speaking out against “the ever-ready molders” of the transgender-affirming world out to change adolescent minds. Recently, Chloe Cole, a 19-year-old young woman who was pressured to undergo transgender surgeries, challenged a social media video by Neil deGrasse Tyson, the populist astronomer and science personality. Although a legitimate astrophysicist, Dr. Tyson’s public proclamations and videos are not always from his area of scientific expertise. In fact, they aren’t always scientific. In this particular video, Tyson asserted, in favor of gender ideology, that “no matter my chromosomes today, I feel 80% female, 20% male. I’m going to put on...

MOSCOW, August 9. /TASS/. Poland is planning to form a joint Polish-Ukrainian military unit ostensibly for security, but with the ulterior motive of occupying western Ukraine, Russian Defense Minister Army General Sergey Shoigu said. He drew attention to the dangers associated with Poland’s militarization. "there are plans to create a permanent so-called Polish-Ukrainian formation ostensibly to ensure the security of Western Ukraine, but in fact - for the subsequent occupation of this territory," he said.

When Hunter’s laptop was exposed, Joe Biden’s Justice Department worked overtime stymying any investigation into the president’s son. That knowledge worked its way up to the attorney general’s office, which appears to have lied regarding the independence of these federal investigations into Hunter Biden. Merrick Garland should also be impeached, but House Speaker Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) is starting to set a trap for Joe Biden on impeachment. The red line McCarthy established was the White House’s refusal to turn over financial documents. Today, he demanded Biden’s bank records (via NY Post): House Speaker Kevin McCarthy has called on President Biden...

The Biden administration unveiled new protections for renters last month, including efforts to address incorrect tenant screening reports and offer better advance notice of evictions — important first steps to tackling our country’s housing crisis. The White House now has a significant opportunity to build on this announcement and bring relief to millions of households across the country with a new national rent control policy. Following a wave of historic tenant organizing, the Federal Housing Finance Agency (FHFA) — which oversees government-sponsored enterprises that provide home loans and mortgages to landlords — is exploring ways to enact and enforce tenant...

Jews trying to defend themselves when attacked by Arabs are not "terrorists". Would Biden's State Department have called the Fogel, Biton or Palmer families "terrorists" if one of them have managed to defend themselves and killed one of the terrorists that attacked them? Would Biden's State Department have called the Yazidi women "terrorists" if one of them have managed to defend themselves and killed one of the Islamists that raped them? Both Yazidi and Jews are native to their ancestral land. The same way it would be wrong for the State Department to call the Yazidi defending themselves against Islamists...

The Florida governor's campaign is wobbling as he struggles to convince voters he is not merely a lighter version of his big rival Ron DeSantis’s new campaign manager could prove to be the shot in the arm his ailing presidential bid needs. The Florida governor is flailing amid a media narrative that his campaign has failed to inspire the support of enough Republican primary voters ahead of the first public debate on August 23. [cut] ...His supporters hope that the change of personnel, which also includes the appointment of former Ted Cruz strategist David Polyansky as deputy campaign manager, will...

It seems like the Ron DeSantis “reboot” is placing its bets on a somewhat risky scenario: the prospect of President Trump ending up behind bars, rendering him incapable of campaigning. That’s what a recent report from NeverTrumper’s at The Bulwark claims. According to the report, the DeSantis Super PAC “Never Back Down” is taking a strategic approach, gearing up for a potential delegate battle should President Trump face legal challenges that will render him unable to go on.

In today’s rapidly changing cultural landscape, it is becoming even more important for the church to defend our younger generation by teaching and standing firm on the foundational truths of Scripture. One of the most contentious topics of our day is the issue of “transgenderism,” particularly among children and teens. As I listened to one of Frank Turek’s recent podcasts on this topic with guests Alisa Childers and Natasha Crain, it seems more and more churches are grappling with this issue even in their youth groups. While I found myself in agreement with much of what I heard in the...

California Attorney General Rob Bonta has opened an investigation into the Chino Valley Unified School District, which authorized notification to parents if a child starts to identify as a different gender. Bonta claims he “has a substantial interest in protecting the legal rights, physical safety, and mental health of children in California schools.” Notably and maybe a little ironic, AG Bonta and Gov. Gavin Newsom are directing the Attorney general’s substantial taxpayer funded resources at parents over their concerns about inappropriate curriculum in public schools, while ignoring credible threats from the illegal Chinese-owned bio lab in Reedley, California.

The elites may have to hold one of their show trials in Florida, but the grand jury had to be in D.C. Judge Aileen Cannon on Monday asked the Justice Department to explain its use of an out-of-state grand jury in the Mar-a-Lago case. While the Mar-a-Lago case is being handled out of her Fort Pierce, Fla., courtroom, much of the grand jury work ahead of the indictment was conducted through a Washington, D.C., grand jury. A D.C. grand jury is an obvious rubber stamp for political prosecutors. A D.C. grand jury would indict a ham sandwich, as long as...

An article that ran in early June in the far-left, capitulationist Israeli newspaper Haaretz provides an enduring example of how the media demonizes the Jewish state. It describes the calvary of Palestinians who cannot get the medicines they need from their own pharmacies and clinics. The newspaper puts the blame squarely on Israel, suggesting that this lack of medicines is one more way that the terrible Israeli government makes life so hard for the Palestinians. The article can be found here: “As Critical Medicine Runs Out in West Bank, Palestinian Authority Points at Israel,” by Jack Khoury, Haaretz, June 8,...

I really don’t like the President of the United States. Joe Biden has spent his life working tirelessly toward one thing more than anything else: to convince people he is a good man. He is not and never has been, as evidenced by how it took four years and political pressure from New York Times columnists to acknowledge the existence of one of his grandchildren. Now that people are beginning to notice and ask questions about things like how he got so rich, Joe has defaulted to the only defense left for him: He’s not corrupt, he’s just a horrible...

The indictment of Donald Trump for speaking out against the results of the 2020 election, and in the words of the indictment, fomenting “a conspiracy to defraud the United States,” has been challenged by legal commentators from both political parties. These jurists consider the prosecutor’s “novel legal theories” dubious or even preposterous, not to mention unconstitutional. If successful, this politicization of the legal system that attacks one candidate for the presidency and benefits the other, carries with it a huge moral hazard. Democrat legal scholar Jonathan Turley has identified this risk: “The hatred for Trump is so all-encompassing that legal...

From the Richmond Whig, Aug. 6. There can be no doubt that the immense sums realized by the Yankee Government for exemptions, are applied to the payment of bounties in Ireland. There are few young men among the farming Classes in that country who would not be tempted to enter any service for $400. Estimating the relative value of the necessaries of life there and at the North this amount would be equal to $2,000 in New-York. Its value to the recipient, as the opportune medium of present relief and future hope to a family on the verge of starvation,...

"If I have all faith, so as to remove mountains, but do not have love, I am nothing" (1 Cor. 13:2). Loveless faith is useless faith. In Matthew 17:19 the disciples came to Jesus wanting to know why they couldn't cast a demonic spirit from a child. Jesus responded, "Because of the littleness of your faith; for truly I say to you, if you have faith as a mustard seed, you shall say to this mountain, 'Move from here to there,' and it shall move; and nothing shall be impossible to you" (v. 20). He repeated the same principle in...

Well this is a fishing tale for the history books. The mayor of Tampa, Jane Castor, says she was out fishing in the Florida Keys and reeled in a very unexpected catch. Yeah, someone just happened to drop $1 million of cocaine in the ocean and this important lady with rich important friends just so happened to pull it out! "We appreciate the ongoing support from our boating community. Thanks to the efforts of this Good Samaritan, 70 pounds of cocaine are in federal custody and off our streets. We encourage the community to immediately report suspicious activity to local...
