I really don’t like the President of the United States. Joe Biden has spent his life working tirelessly toward one thing more than anything else: to convince people he is a good man. He is not and never has been, as evidenced by how it took four years and political pressure from New York Times columnists to acknowledge the existence of one of his grandchildren. Now that people are beginning to notice and ask questions about things like how he got so rich, Joe has defaulted to the only defense left for him: He’s not corrupt, he’s just a horrible parent and brother.
It’s an odd case to make, but it’s all Joe Biden has left. The evidence is mounting that he got huge sums of money from his degenerate son Hunter, who has no skills and offers zero in the way of goods or services for the pay. The only marketable thing the Biden family has ever had was Joe’s position in government, and they’ve milked that cow to the bone.
When asked about his involvement with the family business, Joe Biden has defaulted to what is not only the least believable answer – that he never talked to anyone in his family about their businesses – but also the answer that makes him look like the most enormous pile of garbage father ever.
“I have never discussed with my son or brother or anyone else anything having to do with their businesses, period,” Joe said many times. He then went on to say he went this “never” extreme to prevent even the appearance of a conflict of interest. “That’s why I never talked with my son or my brother or anyone else, even distant family, about their business interests, period,” he’s repeatedly said.
Does that pass the smell test? Of course not. But he’s reduced to arguing he’s a horrible father and brother, taking zero interest in the lives of his own family members so he can avoid what must be assumed to be the temptation to use his position in government to help make them money, right? That’s the only way to hear it.
Biden told a local reporter in 2019, “And because I don’t discuss things with my son and my family, because I don’t want to have any knowledge of any, I don’t want to be accused of ‘Well, you talked with your son’ or ‘You talked with your whomever,’ and so, the fact is, though, everybody’s looked at that…he did nothing wrong. Zero. Period.”
If you believe him, the fact that he deliberately told his family he didn’t want to talk about their businesses is an acknowledgment that he knew they were conducting business that he had the power to impact directly. Forced ignorance does not excuse corruption, especially when you’re wetting your beak from their businesses.
Joe refusing to educate himself about what his family does for money doesn’t mean they didn’t bring it up with him, it just means he wouldn’t have known if they did. He’s already declared Hunter to be the “smartest man I know,” what kind of idiot wouldn’t seek the advice of the most intelligent person in their orbit?
So, we’re supposed to believe the junkie son of a dimwitted politician, even if he’d never told his father who he was working for, and never brought up any of the topics of interest to his patrons? Never? Because why, no one is as trustworthy as a degenerate druggie?
Hunter accompanied Joe on official government trips now and when he was Vice President. Hunter didn’t attend official functions in China, he was off-cutting deals to rake in even more cash. What did Joe think Hunter was on the trip for? Was there a hooker and blow convention in Beijing that week?
But we’re told Joe never asked why his son came along but did his own thing while there. Did taxpayers pick up the check? We paid for Hunter’s Secret Service escort to court this week, why wouldn’t we suspect we paid for his trips to “escorts” elsewhere?
And Joe never asked about any of it? Never cared enough to bother?
I’d be inclined to believe Joe is a cold dad to his surviving kids; he seemed to have his favor shining on his eldest son and indifference to the rest. That’s bound to screw up a kid, as evidenced by both having addiction issues.
But it’s one thing to be a bad father; it’s another entirely to use that as your defense against corruption. Especially when your fortune comes from your kid

A Fox News Digital analysis reveals the extent of Hunter’s potential reach in the White House, while the corrupt Hunter skates away charged w/ only two alleged misdemeanor tax violations and a felony gun charge.

Hunter, who started serving on the board in 2012, and Sullivan both served on the Washington-based nonprofit’s board between 2017 and early 2019, according to internet archives captured by the Wayback Machine.
During that time, Hunter was also serving on the board of Ukrainian energy company Burisma Holdings and the Chinese private equity fund BHR Partners.
The federal investigation into Hunter’s foreign business dealings, which is still ongoing, also launched during the same time frame in 2018.
Sullivan was recently accused by former White House official Mike McCormick of being a “conspirator” in the Biden family’s “kickback scheme” in Ukraine when Biden was vice president.

During a crucial 2020 presidential debate w/ Trump, Joe Biden strenuously denied accusations that his son or family had received money from Chinese sources or that his son’s business in Ukraine was improper.

WASHINGTON — The House Oversight Committee released bank records Wednesday clarifying long-disputed details of first son Hunter Biden’s business relationships in Russia, Kazakhstan and Ukraine — bringing the total documented income from foreign sources to the Biden family and their associates to $20 million, the panel said.
Committee chairman James Comer (R-Ky.) said Hunter Biden appeared to deliver the Russian, Kazakhstani and Ukrainian businesspeople access to his father — noting that each of the post-Soviet associates allegedly attended at least one of two dinners at Washington’s Café Milano with then-Vice President Joe Biden and his son.
“During Joe Biden’s vice presidency, Hunter Biden sold him as ‘the brand’ to reap millions from oligarchs in Kazakhstan, Russia, and Ukraine. It appears no real services were provided other than access to the Biden network, including Joe Biden himself,” Comer said in a statement.
“And Hunter Biden seems to have delivered. This is made clear by meals at Café Milano where then-Vice President Joe Biden dined with oligarchs from around the world who had sent money to his son,” he added.
“It’s clear Joe Biden knew about his son’s business dealings and allowed himself to be ‘the brand’ sold to enrich the Biden family while he was Vice President of the United States.”
The files confirm that Hunter earned up to $1 million per year from Ukrainian natural gas company Burisma Holdings, beginning when his father assumed control of the Obama administration’s Ukraine portfolio in 2014 and that Kazakhstani businessman Kenes Rakishev transferred $142,300 in April 2014 for Hunter to buy a luxury car — reportedly a Porsche.

WASHINGTON (AP) — President Joe Biden’s grandkids say anyone who wants to take a crack at their “Pop” has to go through them first. When Biden calls to check in, he doesn’t stop with one grandchild but ends up dialing all of them for updates.
Even son Hunter Biden gets a nightly call from Biden.
Biden’s big Irish American family has been a prominent part of the White House scene during his first 100 days in office, with his wife, children and grandchildren providing the grounding that people close to the president say has served Biden during nearly a half century of public service.
“Anyone who wants to get to @JoeBiden will have to get past us first,” says the caption on a photo granddaughter Naomi Biden tweeted of herself, her sisters and cousins. She added emojis of a flexed bicep, a high voltage sign, a fist and a winking face with a stuck-out tongue.

During a family getaway to the Camp David retreat in Maryland over Presidents’ Day weekend, she tweeted photos of Biden wearing a tan cap they bought him. The front of the cap sported the presidential seal. The back was inscribed with “Pop” — “just to make sure the job title doesn’t get to his head,” she wrote.
Biden was shaped in part by the loss of his first wife, Neilia, and their baby, Naomi, in a 1972 car accident in Delaware after he was first elected to the U.S. Senate. The accident also injured sons Hunter, 3, and Beau, 4. The loss was compounded by Beau’s death from brain cancer in 2015.
The president and his second wife, Jill, also have a daughter, Ashley, 39.
“Joe and Jill Biden are incredibly close to their children and their grandchildren,” said Sen. Chris Coons, D-Del., who has known the president for decades. “Having lost Beau, in what was a great tragedy in their lives, has made them even more intensely close to both children and more determined to be good grandparents.”
The Bidens “have a sense of joy and of open-heartedness that comes even more abundantly clear when they’re in the presence of their grandchildren,” Coons said.

The grandchildren include: Naomi Biden, 27, an attorney in Washington; and sisters Finnegan Biden, 22, and Maisy Biden, 20, both in college. Their father, 51-year-old Hunter Biden, lives in California with his second wife, Melissa Cohen Biden, and their 1-year-old son, Beau.

The late Beau Biden’s kids are Natalie, 16, and her brother, “little Hunter,” who is 15. The president’s two sons were so close that they named their own sons after each other.
Ashley Biden, a social worker, is married to doctor Howard Krein. They have no children.
Biden credits Jill Biden, his wife of nearly 44 years, with making his family whole again. They married in 1977, five years after the death of his first wife and daughter, though he had to propose five times before she finally accepted.
She is the first first lady who didn’t give up her career. She’s taught English at community college for many years, and teaches virtually from the White House, or hotels when she travels.
Jill Jacobs always wanted to be her own person. Joe Biden made that complicated.
Biden returns to his home in Delaware most weekends so he and the first lady can spend time with their children and grandchildren.
He took grandkids on trips when he was vice president, and on campaign stops last year. Baby Beau has already flown aboard the Marine One presidential helicopter to Camp David.
Other grandchildren go with him to St. Joseph on the Brandywine, the Roman Catholic church where he worships in Delaware. The family recently gathered there for the confirmation of young Hunter Biden. The president lingered outside after mass, chatting with family and posing for photos with other congregants before he spent several hours at the teenager’s home.

Biden “likes to spend time with family and loved ones, and take a moment to take a breath, just like most people across the country do, when he has the limited amount of free time you have as leader of the free world,” said White House press secretary Jen Psaki.
Hunter Biden, who recently wrote a book about overcoming his drug and alcohol addiction, says he and his dad still talk every night. He also has a “healthy fear” of relapsing yet again.
“It’s too much a part of my story,” Hunter Biden told NPR. “I’m only one choice away from being back exactly where I was. And that’s the conundrum for everyone that’s in recovery. It never goes away. It only hides.”
Biden talks to his grandkids a lot, too. They were among those who encouraged him to run for president after two earlier failed efforts.
“He literally calls, not just like one of us every few days. He calls me, then he calls Naomi, then he calls Finn, then he calls Natalie, then he calls Ashley,” Maisy Biden told NBC’s “Today” during an interview with her sisters, cousins and aunt before Biden’s inauguration.
The kids call Biden, too.
“We have a rule, still, you know, today, that no matter where dad is, no matter what meeting he’s in, if one of the kids call you have to get him out,” Ashley Biden told “Today.”
“He’s just up and answering that call,” Coons added. “That sort of presence, that sort of engagement is an important part of how he stays connected to his family.”
Biden has encouraged his staff to prioritize their own families, too, and to not miss kid sports games or special occasions to stay at their desks to work for him.
“It runs deep with him,” said Ted Kaufman, Biden’s longtime Senate chief of staff and political adviser. “He basically wants the standards for the staff, for the people around him, to be the same standards he has.”
Biden has expressed feeling homesick at times as he adjusts to White House life, said an aide granted anonymity to disclose private conversations with the president, which partly explains his regular weekend trips back to his longtime home in Delaware.
Biden’s visits home frustrate Delaware drivers who get stuck in traffic backups from Biden’s extensive motorcade.
At the White House, Biden has a household staff that attends to and tries to anticipate his every need, and Secret Service agents who follow him everywhere — including inside the White House.
Biden, 78, also has a sister, Valerie Biden Owens, who managed his Senate and earlier presidential campaigns, and brothers Francis and James. Their parents are deceased.
Jonathan Russ, a University of Delaware history professor, said other presidents have been close to their families, but that Biden’s emphasis on his own family is “relatively unique.”
“This is such a part of his being, the fact that he talks and shares anecdotes about his parents or children, about his grandchildren,” Russ said. “I think that that’s something that you don’t see throughout American history. And I think people find it quite refreshing that here is somebody who does place great value” on his family.
