Zachary Rehl, a J6 political prisoner and former Proud Boys leader who was found guilty of seditious conspiracy, vows to fight for his innocence until he is “fully exonerated and so no one has to live in fear of persecution for exercising their 1st Amendment rights again.” The 37-year-old Marine Corps veteran was apprehended by the Federal Bureau of Investigations on April 17, 2021, for “his role in the Capitol riot.” His wife was six months pregnant when the bureau’s stormtroopers terrorized their home in a pre-dawn raid, shock and trauma reaped by the bureau that nearly resulted in the...

Secretary of State Antony Blinken on Thursday called for Russia to stop using food as a “weapon” in the war in Ukraine after Moscow suspended a deal to allow for the export of grain from the embattled country. Blinken told Good Morning America that the grain deal reached last year between Kyiv and Moscow allowed for the equivalent of 18 billion loaves of bread to get out to the world, but Russia “tore up that deal,” which many nations see as imperiling their food supply.

Republican presidential candidate Chris Christie suggested that some of his GOP rivals are “auditioning” for roles in former President Trump’s next administration, as they continue to defend the former president amid his expanding legal troubles. “In the end, I think that some of them are unwilling to do it because they don’t think it’s politically smart, some of them are auditioning for a potential Trump administration, and I think some of them just aren’t able to do it,” Christie said in an interview with Kara Swisher released on Thursday. “They just physically aren’t equipped to be able to be in...

As the theme of this year's Pride Month — "We're coming for your children" — echoes, more and more parents are speaking out against their kids' exposure to divisive Critical Race Theory, pornographic materials in school libraries, and exploring with six-year-olds how they can change their sex. By this spring, more than half of U.S. states had passed laws prohibiting curricula promoting radical ideologies, including Florida, New Hampshire, and Tennessee. Because the strategy of the progressive education establishment depends on forming today's captive schoolkids into tomorrow's leftist foot soldiers, they've moved to DEFCON 1. Moms for Liberty is one of...

As someone who has dealt with the back end of trafficking, namely the people who make it to the United States and are able to somehow find a lawyer to help them seek asylum and protection, I can confirm that many of the scenes depicted in “Sound of Freedom” echo what people have told me in the past about how they made their way to the U.S. So many of these people, both old clients and acquaintances, have talked about the subterfuge used to lure people into the sex trades, the random violence and brutality of the human traffickers, and...

Sen. Joe Manchin (D-W.Va.), who has railed against the nation’s record-high debt, on Thursday called Fitch Ratings’ downgrade of the U.S. credit rating from AAA to AA+ a “historic failure of leadership by both political parties and the executive branch.” Manchin, who is flirting with a presidential run as a third-party candidate backed by the group No Labels, has regularly criticized what he views as the lack of bipartisan cooperation in Washington. He blamed the nation’s latest credit downgrade on the inability of Republicans and Democrats in Congress and President Biden to make significant progress in addressing the nation’s $32...

So who got to Joe Scarborough? His wife Mika Brzezinski? His bosses at MSNBC, including head honcho Rashida Jones? Could it have been Jen Psaki, Biden’s former spox, now Scarborough's MSNBC colleague, letting Joe know he crossed a line? Or was it a call from the White House, rapping Joe’s knuckles? Or did the MSNBC suits themselves perhaps send Joe that iconic horsehead-in-the-bed clip from The Godfather? Be that as it may, Scarborough clearly got the message, and wanted to make amends. The reason for the speculation is due to a complete 180-degree turn Scarborough did from Wednesday to Thursday...

Jack Smith, in his rush to ‘get Trump,’ has done serious violence to our constitutional order and Bill of Rights.Special Counsel Jack Smith’s latest indictment against President Trump seeks to criminalize political speech and taking incorrect legal advice. Americans of all political stripes should be furious and deeply concerned by the course Smith has set this country on.I have reviewed the new Trump indictment closely, and sadly, it is exactly what we have come to expect from Smith’s team — a highly political document, riddled with legal and factual infirmities. This indictment should have never been brought to a grand...

Perhaps, for context, a higher perspective is in order.Governor Ronald Reagan was steered by the ‘powers that be’ to accept George HW Bush as his vice president. In 1981 President Reagan selected Eric Holder to be a Superior Court Judge in Washington DC; yes, that Eric Holder. The recommendation came from his Vice President. George H W Bush was CIA Director ’76/’77.Candidate Donald Trump was steered by the ‘powers that be’ to accept Mike Pence as his vice president. Pence recommended fellow Senator Hoosier Dan Coats to be Director of National Intelligence. Coats blocked all declassification efforts. A fellow by...

Life.Church Wellington kicked concluded their At the Movies campaign with a Jurassic Park themed service, decking out the lobby with movie props, shrubbery, a waterfall, hanging vines, a cavern system, and several animatronic dinosaurs, designed to recreate the famous island zoo inside the church. It’s not a one-off for the 85,000-member, seeker-sensitive, multi-site-based Oklahoma church that has 40 locations, but rather something they do every year. Led by Craig Groeschel, the pastor and lead visionary who is an awful preacher and habitual scripture- twister, who recently launched the metaverse for the megachurch, and oversaw one of his churches doing the...

US Treasury yields are up today along with 30-year mortgage rates. There is a lot happening in bond markets. It’s been a tumultuous week for yields, with the Bank of Japan’s policy tweak, and the Treasury increasing its funding needs. But Fitch was the weatherman with its US downgrade, telling us about the downpour we can see for ourselves just by taking a glance at the fiscal data. In short, the US faces a perfect storm of a vertiginous fiscal deficit, a near-historically swollen debt load, ballooning interest-rate costs and collapsing tax revenues. First, the deficit. It’s close to historical...

The new district board overseeing Disney World in Florida has eliminated its Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) programs, including a DEI board. In February, Gov. Ron DeSantis signed legislation creating the new board and abolishing its predecessor, which was tightly linked with the primary business it regulated— Disney World. The act was part of Mr. DeSantis's war with Disney after its leaders came out against his Parental Rights in Education bill last year, one dubbed the "Don't Say Gay" bill by detractors. Since the district's 1967 creation, Disney had enjoyed a unique self-governing status, putting it outside Florida county or...

The transcript of Hunter Biden’s business associate Devon Archer’s congressional testimony was released Thursday. Archer testified about Hunter’s business dealings and President Joe Biden’s alleged involvement. Archer is a close friend of Hunter and sat on the board of Ukrainian energy firm Burisma alongside Hunter. The transcript alleges that Hunter had a “brand” as part of the Biden family, specifically due to President Joe Biden. Archer testified that while Biden had no involvement with Burisma to his knowledge, “Burisma would have gone out of business if it didn’t have the brand attached to it.”

(Last Updated On: August 1, 2023) NATIONAL GRAB SOME NUTS DAY | AUGUST 3 There are many “nut” days throughout the year such as National Almond Day, National Pistachio Day, and National Pecan Day, but August 3rd embraces them all. It’s National Grab Some Nuts Day! #NationalGrabSomeNutsDay Defining a nut is tricky. Though botanically an almond and cashew aren’t considered nuts, once they’re in the can, it’s hard to tell the difference. The same goes for walnuts and peanuts, even though they have the word “nut” in their names. Despite the confusion, these nuts, legumes, seeds, and drupes continue to...

Did Wisconsin police working a drag event ignore state law and instead choose to target a Christian street preacher for his beliefs? An event held at a public park in Wisconsin featuring men dressed as women led to a viral video showing police arresting a Christian preacher who was sharing the Gospel with the event’s attendees. The July 29 “Pride in the Park’ event at Riverside Park in Watertown, located about 30 miles west of Milwaukee, was hosted by Unity Project of Watertown. Video footage shared on social media showed Watertown police arresting a member of Christian apparel brand Rescue...

(Daily readings from the USCCB)“Do you understand all these things?” They answered, “Yes.” And he replied, “Then every scribe who has been instructed in the Kingdom of heaven is like the head of a household who brings from his storeroom both the new and the old.” Matthew 13:51–52At times, Jesus’ words are difficult to understand. How well do you understand what He teaches you? He often teaches in figures of speech, as well as with parables. The passage quoted above concludes a section in which He speaks three subsequent parables. The third of these parables, the parable about the fishnet,...

With the latest indictment of Donald Trump, special counsel Jack Smith has delivered a comprehensive and well-documented case establishing beyond cavil that Trump is a clown. Well, that's something we've never heard before! Oh no, sorry, I mean we've heard it every day for the past 2 1/2 years: It seems that -- stop me if you know this one -- after losing the election, Trump lied to his supporters about election fraud, which led to the Jan. 6 riot by a right-wing mob. The most shocking fact was that the mob was right-wing. Every other violent mob in the...
