When Chase Merrill took his first ride in his new Rivian R1S, it was his favorite car that he had ever driven. Merrill, 24, put down a deposit on an R1S three years ago at the urging of family members who also own Rivians. He was unsure about making the switch from his 2015 Ford Edge to a fully electric SUV, especially since he lives in a relatively remote area in the Adirondack Mountains, New York. But once he got behind the wheel of the $85,626 car on March 10, those worries melted away. "I was in a honeymoon phase,"...

Guests at a Super 8 motel in upstate New York were kicked out without notice this week to make room for migrants being bused in from New York City, according to local reports. Rotterdam town supervisor Mollie Collins told the Albany Times-Union that a Schenectady County official told her the migrants were transported from Texas to New York City before they were sent via bus to the motel in Rotterdam after the city signed a contract with the Super 8. She said it was not immediately clear whether the motel stay was temporary or how long the migrants had been...

Judge Aileen Cannon scheduled the trial for May 20, a compromise date later than prosecutors had sought but sooner than the indefinite delay requested by Trump. The trial will take place at the federal court in Ft. Pierce, Florida, according to the order.

Who is the emperor? The cabal that is prepared to do anything, no matter how unconstitutional, no matter how evil, to destroy Donald Trump. That would be Merrick Garland, Christopher Wray, and Jack Smith. Of course, this trio of thugs has many cohorts willing to do its dirty work. What kind of dirty work? The kind that has made judges, the mainstream media, and most members of Congress fear being canceled. The left's method of coercion is well known. Cross us, and your career is over. Read Alan Dershowitz's book, Get Trump. The elites who believe they are uniquely entitled...

A dramatic decrease in the level of firearms sales through the National Instant Background Check System (NICS ) occurred in June 2023. Monthly firearm sales in 2023 have been the third or fourth highest of the 25 years recorded in the FBI NICS records. In June 2023, the adjusted sales dropped 21% from the 2022 figures. The number of gun sales in June of 2022 was about 1.35 million. In June of 2023, it was about 1.06 million. Despite the drop in gun sales, the month continued the trend of over a million gun sales each month for the past...

A 71-year-old Los Angeles man died in California’s Death Valley National Park on Tuesday, likely due to heat, as the afternoon high recorded in the park was 121 degrees, officials said. The Inyo County Coroner identified the deceased as Steven Curry. Curry fell to the ground outside the restroom at the Golden Canyon trailhead, the Inyo County Sheriff’s Office and the national park wrote in a news release. Before collapsing, Curry had been interviewed in the early morning by a Los Angeles Times reporter at Zabriskie Point; he had hiked about 2 miles from Golden Canyon to the point. “It’s...

For decades, gangsta rappers have raked in money, fame, and recording industry awards hand-over-fist by promoting a culture of violence, drugs, crime, misogyny, hedonism, and greed. There has been not a peep of an objection from the Progressive Left to the damage this has done and continues to do to generations of young people, especially in poor inner-city communities, where rappers, gang members, and drug dealers are idolized and emulated by far too many. But let one country music star complain that American cities have degenerated into a wasteland of lawlessness and chaos, and triggered leftists leap to smear him...

Okay, I get it! From listening to Republican TV and reading Republican publications, I have learned that Joe Biden is a sleazy, mendacious, and demented chief executive. He has weaponized the entire Justice Department and the IRS against his real and suspected political opponents, thrown open our southern border to drug cartels, and reduced our armed forces and international posture to shambles. Moreover, Joe has a gangster son with whom he has engaged in illegal business ventures; and it’s entirely possible that the cocaine recently found in the West Wing of the White House came from son Hunter, who is...

Max was in dire need of grooming, but his family couldn't afford the procedure. They watched helplessly as their furry friend became increasingly uncomfortable, with matted fur weighing him down. Max's family loved him dearly and was devastated to see him suffer. Fortunately, Logan's Legacy stepped in to provide the necessary grooming with anesthesia.

Since the Floyd riots of 2020, the Left has promoted Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) programs as must-have credentials for woke corporations eager to show concern for “marginalized” minorities.DEI is marketed as a way to address racial discrimination in the corporate world with affirmative-action hiring practices. The programs also include LGBTQ+ identifiers, feminists, and any others claiming victimhood. Thus, DEI has been all the rage for the last few years as major companies scrambled to hire DEI officers for their workforce and boards of directors.Abandoning ShipThe rage is now over. DEI. is still around, but it has lost its luster. When...

Democrats have insisted since it happened on calling the riot in Washington on Jan. 6, 2021, an "insurrection." Setting aside the facts, which include that it was a riot by a few hundred people who vandalized parts of the building, and that President Trump had told his fans to protest "peacefully," there are other considerations. An "insurrection" would require some sort of plan to actually take over the government, to implement new rules, orders, policies and such. And what about commanding the military? There have not even been suggestions there's evidence for this. Nevertheless, Democrats insist it was an "insurrection"...

He did it. He said the quiet part out loud. Rep. Dan Goldman (D-NY) might have damaged the Biden defense irreparably due to the mounting evidence that the president and his son, Hunter, are involved in a bribery operation. The sordid activities of Hunter Biden and his unscrupulous government access deals are well documented. What he did with the cash got him investigated by the IRS, which seemed poised to charge him until the Biden Department of Justice derailed such efforts with their pervasive meddling. Democrats were unprepared to deal with IRS whistleblowers Joseph Ziegler and Gary Shapley during this...

The recent resolution of a class-action lawsuit in New York City has ignited a fierce debate, challenging the core tenets of justice and social order. The settlement, which involves the city agreeing to distribute $13.7 million to individuals who partook in the 2020 George Floyd unrest, has been met with significant backlash. This is largely due to the perception that the decision is disproportionately lenient towards the involved rioters, many of whom were not legally held accountable for their actions. Under the settlement, the 1,380 plaintiffs, who allege that their rights were violated by the New York Police Department (NYPD),...

[MULTIPLE VIDEOS REFERENCED AT LINK] Coming soon, but actually happening right now if you want to be totally accurate about it. What a world we live in folks. A few years ago, we had steaks. Just….steaks. They came from cows. Sure, there were different grades…. USDA Choice. USDA Prime. USDA Select. Wagyu. Dry aged. Wet aged. But they were all steaks, from cows, given to us by God. It was all pretty simple. Then suddenly this year we had mRNA beef, which came out of nowhere and is infected nearly the entire beef supply. If you could somehow dodge that,...

Federal Judge Aileen Cannon announced an updated schedule for the forthcoming trial of former President Donald Trump in the case dealing with his alleged mishandling of classified documents after leaving the White House and granted a continuance that will push the trial's start to May 20, 2024. Responding to the government's motion seeking a continuance, Judge Cannon agreed to grant the motion in part after finding that "the interests of justice served by this continuance outweigh the best interest of the public and Defendants in a speedy trial." The Trump document trial was initially scheduled to begin on August 14...

Two years ago chief diversity officers were some of the hottest hires into executive ranks. Now, they increasingly feel left out in the cold. Companies including Netflix, Disney and Warner Bros. Discovery have recently said that high-profile diversity, equity and inclusion executives will be leaving their jobs. Thousands of diversity-focused workers have been laid off since last year, and some companies are scaling back racial justice commitments. Diversity, equity and inclusion—or DEI—jobs were put in the crosshairs after many companies started re-examining their executive ranks during the tech sector’s shake out last fall. Some chief diversity officers say their work...

Just months after a Biden-appointed regulator teased a ban on gas stoves, the administration is working to enact a rule that would prohibit the manufacturing of nearly all portable gas generators on the U.S. market. A proposed Consumer Product Safety Commission rule limits the amount of carbon monoxide a product can emit, with the commission admitting that 95 percent of portable gas generators on the market cannot comply with its new standard. As a result, industry leaders say, the rule will prompt widespread generator shortages, as manufacturers only have six months to design generators that meet the proposed regulation. That...

(Daily readings from the USCCB)Jesus was going through a field of grain on the sabbath. His disciples were hungry and began to pick the heads of grain and eat them. When the Pharisees saw this, they said to him, “See, your disciples are doing what is unlawful to do on the sabbath.” Matthew 12:1–2When Moses gave the Ten Commandments to the people, there was a prohibition against working on the Sabbath. The Third Commandment said, in part, that “you shall not do any work” on the Sabbath (Exodus 20:10). By the time of Jesus, the Pharisees had added much commentary...

It’s legacy media hysteria time again: news outlets from The Washington Post to The Atlantic hyperventilate about what they spin as the latest scandale. Presidential candidate RFK Jr made comments at a dinner about ethnically targeted bioweapons. Mainstream media commentators claim that these comments are in themselves anti-Semitic.Some articles are going back in time, cherry-picking remarks RFK Jr has made in the past about the Holocaust, and about other aspects of historic totalitarianism, to strengthen the case for imprinting the “Anti-Semite” label forever on Mr Kennedy’s candidacy and campaign. With the (now AI-driven) global smear campaign in full mode, we...
