Max was in dire need of grooming, but his family couldn't afford the procedure. They watched helplessly as their furry friend became increasingly uncomfortable, with matted fur weighing him down. Max's family loved him dearly and was devastated to see him suffer. Fortunately, Logan's Legacy stepped in to provide the necessary grooming with anesthesia.

Uh, was it wise to return this animal to the owners?
Yes, they may love him and be too poor to pay a groomer, but they ought to be able to comb and clip.
My first thought too. I have a weakness for cat / dog adoption videos on Youtube. A surprising number of the adoptees were simply abandoned by their owners — dumped in a remote area or left behind when the family moves. The lucky ones were surrendered at a shelter.
We had an old english sheep dog, and the first time we had her fur cut short, it was like a totally different dog lol- quite a dramatic difference.
“Couldn’t afford “
Have they no scissors?
It doesn’t have to be a pro job. Just keep you pet comfortable and healthy.
Granted professional grooming can be expensive, but the owners don’t have scissors???????
Granted a non-professional job would look a little unkempt, but seriously, it would be far better than the shape the dog was in.
I don’t think giving him back to his owners was a good idea.
The average price for grooming a small dog is about $30 bucks.
These people don’t have $30 dollars?
I bet they’re staring into expensive Smart phones though.
And quality electric clippers can be purchased at walmart in the $25 range. No excuse.
Might have been a poor elderly person or couple without the stamina and dexterity to keep him groomed and it just got out of control.
I’ve adopted several dogs surrendered by seniors going into nursing homes. Got a 16 yr old schnauzer mix earlier this year. Mostly deaf, partly blind and wakes me up at 0 dark-thirty every morning to pee, but a nice affectionate pupper that just needed a new home.
BS.
I would bet every family member in this story could afford a phone and connection service. There's that.
B, go to WalMart and buy clippers.
C, if you refuse to give up your phone and you pretend you can't afford clippers, buy a pair of scissors and relieve the dog of all that hair.
