Surely the breastfeeding bloke will be the last straw? All last week, institutions of repute – ITV, the TUC, sections of the Labour Party – insisted that Mika Minio-Paluello is a mum. In truth, he’s a man. This former Labour special adviser and TUC staffer is a bloke who only says he’s a woman. Science, reason and every chromosome in his own body beg to differ. And yet ITV had him on the news saying the cost-of-living crisis is ‘tough if you’re a mum like me’. When actual women pushed back against this lunatic description of a man as a...

The Unemployment Insurance (UI) trust fund the California Employment Development Department uses to pay benefits is now “structurally insolvent” a new Legislative Analyst’s Office report states. The report – a reaction to the “May Fund Forecast” released by the EDD last week states quite bluntly that the “temporary” – now about 15 years and not the six or seven years the EDD originally projected – federal surcharge will be used to cover on-going bills before actually paying the $18 billion-dollar federal debt the agency incurred due to gross incompetence during the pandemic.

Original Beatles drummer Pete Best — best known for being replaced by Ringo Starr — believes the Fab Four wouldn’t have missed a beat if he had not been booted all those years ago. “I still think it would have been The Beatles and I still think they would have been playing the same music and I still think the sound would have been very, very, very similar,” Best, 81, told The Post from his home in Liverpool. “To this day I still don’t know why” he was dismissed, Best added. Best — the Beatles’ drummer from 1960-1962 — is...

Robert F. Kennedy Jr. on Saturday slammed President Biden for his plan to send indiscriminately lethal cluster bombs to Ukraine — suggesting that the choice ran afoul of Biden’s own ethics. “Last year, WH Press Secretary Jen Psaki called the use of cluster bombs a ‘war crime.’ Now President Biden plans to send them to Ukraine,” the Democratic presidential candidate tweeted. “Stop the ceaseless escalation! It is time for peace.” “Biden was opposed to cluster bombs In 1982 as well, when he opposed their sale to Israel,” Kennedy added. “What happened to his conscience?” Biden on Friday sought to explain...

Former Vice President Mike Pence said, “Nobody’s buying Biden” during an appearance on Breitbart News Saturday, discussing the importance of informing young American voters on the current state of the country. Pence, who has been blitzing Iowa, said it is clear that “people are ready for change.” “We hit more than a dozen events in ten counties over the next four days. And I gotta tell you, the enthusiasm out there for change for turning this country around is greater than anything I’ve ever seen before,” he said, touting the accomplishments of the Trump-Pence administration.

One-third of Seattle residents are considering packing up and moving elsewhere, largely citing home prices and crime, according to a Seattle Times/Suffolk University poll conducted in June. Roughly 33 percent of Seattle residents surveyed say they are seriously considering moving out of the city, while 67 percent say they are not. The survey was conducted with 500 residents by phone from June 12-16 and has a ±4.4 percent margin of error.

A security guard for a CVS store in Manhattan is facing murder charges for allegedly stabbing a serial shoplifter to death on Thursday, according to police. The incident occurred just after midnight at the chain’s Times Square location on Broadway and 49th Street, NBC New York reported. The security guard, Scott Enoe, reportedly tried to stop the man from stealing from the store. The men then fought, and Enoe allegedly ended up stabbing the man, according to police.

The recent Supreme Court ruling striking down affirmative action once again highlighted an uncomfortable reality that a minority group (in this case, Asian Americans) mostly opposes a position held by the progressive movement and the Democratic Party. The response from the left was to depict Asian Americans — who, polls show, oppose the use of racial preferences in college admissions to increase diversity — as dupes or tools being used by white conservatives to attack other vulnerable minorities.

Former Fox News host Tucker Carlson shared details of an interview he had with former Capitol Police Chief Steven Sund, which he said never aired before he was fired from the conservative network in April. During an appearance on comedian Russell Brand's podcast on Friday, Carlson said that Sund told him in an interview that federal agents were allegedly in the crowd that was present on January 6, 2021, at the U.S. Capitol. Supporters of former President Donald Trump stormed the Capitol building at the time in an effort to stop the certification of Joe Biden's Electoral College victory. Meanwhile,...

Pictures not loading when I post to FreeRepublic, but they are at the linked site.Curtiss SC Seahawk The Seahawk served as a scout for U.S. warships at the tail end of World War II. It featured two M2 Browning .50-cal. machineguns and could carry bombs, depth charges, or even radar on external pylons. If needed, this versatile scout could even rescue aviators or sailors. Entering combat service in 1945, the Seahawk saw the end of scout planes and was phased out for helicopters in 1949. Bud Light's business has collapsed since April, plummeting 30% in consumption, the result of the company putting a trans influencer on a can to celebrate the NCAA's March Madness basketball tournament. The resulting social media brouhaha combined with the head of marketing deriding the brand's out-of-touch humor and fratty connotations has led to the most crushing boycott of a large consumer product brand in modern history. Bud Light, legitimately, might be finished as a popular beer. As I demonstrated in May with an experiment that went viral, many beer drinkers simply refuse to be seen with a Bud Light. The...

QUESTION: Is it true that Zelensky is canceling elections? HZ ANSWER: On June 22, 2023, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy is a dictator installed by the West to create World War III against Russia. Zelensky told the BBC that Ukraine’s scheduled 2023 parliamentary and 2024 presidential elections would occur only if martial law had ended by that time, as reported by the New Voice of Ukraine. Hence, he has a personal reason not to seek any peace whatsoever. There is NO WAY Zelensky is fighting for democracy – this is all propaganda. He hates Russians and refuses to allow them to separate...

Ben & Jerry’s says that the United States was built on stolen indigenous land and that it should be returned. The iconic ice cream company made this statement on July 4th across social media platforms and its own website. This was an obvious response to Independence Day. There are groups of people across the nation who refuse to celebrate July 4th because of the subjugation of native and black Americans. There is just one small problem with Ben & Jerry’s message. Their own headquarters sits on “stolen” land in Vermont. Shortly after their social media post, a Native tribe with...

The Democrat-led movement to lower the legal voting age to 16 — or in some cases even younger — is gaining momentum as teenagers and other activists seek to score local victories while winning the support of some voices in the media. The so-called "Vote 16" campaign recently notched a victory in Vermont, where the Democrat-controlled state legislature last month overrode Republican Gov. Phil Scott's veto of a measure allowing 16-year-olds to vote in municipal elections and hold the highest elected offices. Specifically, 16- and 17-year-olds can now vote in the southern Vermont town of Brattleboro. Young voters will be...

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy returned from a visit to Turkey on Saturday, bringing home five former commanders of Ukraine's garrison in Mariupol despite a prisoner exchange last year under which the men were meant to remain in Turkey. Russia immediately denounced the release of the men. Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said Turkey had violated the prisoner exchange terms and had failed to inform Moscow. -snip- "We are returning home from Turkey and bringing our heroes home," said Zelenskiy who met Turkish President Tayyip Erdogan for talks in Istanbul on Friday. "Ukrainian soldiers Denys Prokopenko, Svyatoslav Palamar, Serhiy Volynsky, Oleh Khomenko,...

QUESTION: Do you think the BRICS would create a gold-back currency as proposed by Russia? SJ ANSWER: The Neocon has directed the Biden administration to remove Russia from SWIFT. Their single-minded goal is destroying the world economy, but they do not care. They think they will conquer Russia and China and dominate the world so they will worry about the monetary system afterward. You have to understand that if the BRICS followed that directive and created a single gold-back currency, they would have to end any idea of international trade. This proposal is understandable given the hostility of the United...
