Robert F. Kennedy Jr. on Saturday slammed President Biden for his plan to send indiscriminately lethal cluster bombs to Ukraine — suggesting that the choice ran afoul of Biden’s own ethics.
“Last year, WH Press Secretary Jen Psaki called the use of cluster bombs a ‘war crime.’ Now President Biden plans to send them to Ukraine,” the Democratic presidential candidate tweeted. “Stop the ceaseless escalation! It is time for peace.”
“Biden was opposed to cluster bombs In 1982 as well, when he opposed their sale to Israel,” Kennedy added. “What happened to his conscience?”
Biden on Friday sought to explain the “difficult” decision to provide the widely banned weapons. “The Ukrainians are running out of ammunition,” he said.

Most members of NATO have joined a 111-nation pact banning all use, production, and transfer of cluster munitions — but not the United States, Russia or Ukraine.

RFKjr would be a better Democrat candidate for President than Biden!
Like everything else that was never really there in any degree of quality or quantity to begin with, there's just not a lot going on between dopey joe's ears.
If the Russians are using cluster bombs (and against civilians) I don’t see a problem with letting the Ukrainians use them against military targets.
RFK Jr is the best on vaccines, but other than that he falls short. He’s wrong on climate change, and in my opinion also wrong on Ukraine. Putin is grateful for US weakness, but won’t thank us for it. He will just become more dangerous.
The old school, institutional left is turning against Ukraine military aid and proxy war.
This will force Biden in the same direction to preserve his 2024 position.
One thing everybody that supports Russia here is forgetting,
They invaded Ukraine!
This isn’t our war, however history tells us
that isolationism doesn’t work.
I’d bet many here never dealt with a bully,
too many pussies here that expect life to be fair.
But you stop bullies by fighting them.
We as a nation, conceptually could spend all
the money we are giving to Ukraine locally,
however since the “great society” started it has been a joke, so I don’t accept that argument.
Russia needs it’s butt kicked enough that it behaves itself and worries about it’s own people and not go after some ass’s dream of empire.
The world still has China to deal with.
They believe that they are the center of the universe.
If we don’t show some push back, what do you expect they are capable of?
Yeah, for gun control. Stop making love dovy eyes at just another leftist.
We shouldn’t be supplying them.
Even Psaki has called them (controversial cluster bombs) out as war criminal level arsenal. So has Canada and other countries.
Keep dreaming, that will never happen.
Remember when the generals and uniparty said president Trump would start ww3?-)
‘Stop the ceaseless escalation!’

Should be, ‘Stop the senseless escalation!’

What a bunch of unthinking garbage.
As far as I am concerned, any weapon that Russia uses in Ukraine, we should assist Ukraine in also using to defend themselves, if they want to. Losing a war because of excessive moral scruples is not a good idea.
NOT our war. Except in the sense that the Biden-ites did their best to provoke it.
No more escalation, no more weapons. This was and is a proxy war on Russia.
Who used them first???
And, again, we have NO business in this proxy war mess.
“RFK jr”
PFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFfffffffft.
In other news:
Where’s the Babylon Bee headline about Brandon sending the ukes nukular weapons because somebody detonated one attributed to the Russkies?
/s
“”””Even Psaki has called them (controversial cluster bombs) out as war criminal level arsenal. So has Canada and other countries.””””
Do you have a source for that claim, or are you ignoring that the targeting of civilians with cluster bombs is a war crime and pretending that they are calling the legal use of this normal American weapon a war crime?
