For two days Bannon Warroom frequent guest, Attorney Mike Davis, has been trying desperately to defend his friend, RNC Committeewoman Harmeet Dhillon, for her participation in a California GOP scheme to support Ron DeSantis with proportional delegates. In a series of Tweets and statements, Mike Davis continually said he had firsthand knowledge the Trump campaign was aware of the rule change and did not contest it. However, Davis refused to say who on the Trump campaign had this knowledge and seemingly approved the delegate plan without challenge.Mr. Davis became increasingly unhinged when questioned about the issue, because it just did not...

In Mayor Eric Adams’s first month in office, he was confronted with a tragic crisis: the deaths of two New York City police officers who were responding to a domestic disturbance in Harlem. Mr. Adams, a former police captain who campaigned as a Democratic crime fighter, quickly sought to humanize the killings. The loss of the officers, he said, reminded him of the 1987 line-of-duty death of a friend, Officer Robert Venable. “I still think about Robert,” Mr. Adams said at a news conference at City Hall. “I keep a picture of Robert in my wallet.” A week later, Mr....

WASHINGTON — The first space-based hyperspectral imaging sensor built by San Francisco startup Orbital Sidekick, founded in 2016, literally went from the garage of CEO and co-founder Dan Katz to the International Space Station as an experiment for Air Force Research Laboratory. “That was a kick ass little sensor we … integrated in my garage in San Francisco, and then handed it off to SpaceX, which launched it. And then NASA, the astronauts, took it from the Dragon capsule and installed it,” Katz told Breaking Defense in an interview. Hyperspectral cameras break down pixels into hundreds of frequency bands and...

The National Republican Congressional Committee (NRCC) is recruiting former Rep. Mayra Flores (R-TX) to run for her old seat in Texas’s 34th congressional district. Rep. Vicente Gonzalez (D-TX) defeated Flores last year, and the NRCC has made the 34th congressional seat a prime target in the upcoming elections. The NRCC shared a poll that found Flores tied with Gonzalez and a memo that said Flores “has already proven she can win, and new polling shows she remains popular.” The memo claimed that the district is one of the better pickup opportunities as Republicans attempt to widen their House Republican majority.

Explanation: On July 4, an almost Full Moon rose in planet Earth's evening skies. Also known as a Buck Moon, the full lunar phase (full on July 3 at 11:39 UTC) was near perigee, the closest point in the Moon's almost monthly orbit around planet Earth. That qualified this July's Full Moon as a supermoon, the first of four supermoons in 2023. Seen from Cocoa Beach along Florida's Space Coast on July 4, any big, bright, beautiful Full Moon would still have to compete for attention though. July's super-moonrise was captured here against a super-colorful fireworks display.

Casey DeSantis will make her solo debut on the campaign trail in Iowa on Thursday when she launches 'Mammas for DeSantis' - a group aimed at boosting Ron DeSantis' support among women in the crucial early voting state. The Florida first lady will launch the group alongside Iowa Gov. Kim Reynolds in Johnston, outside of Des Moines, while Ron tries to make up ground in the polls with rival Donald Trump. The mother-of-three's move comes as one of her husband's top allies admits that DeSantis campaign is 'way behind' and Donald Trump is the 'runaway frontrunner'. Casey has joined Ron...

Former White House press secretary Kayleigh McEnany on Thursday dismissed the suggestion that the cocaine found at the White House over the holiday weekend belonged to the president's son, Hunter Biden, The Hill reports. "For it to be Hunter Biden, he left on Friday, he was at Camp David. There is no way, it is inconceivable to think cocaine could sit for a 72-hour period [at The White House], so I would rule him out at this point," the Fox News host said Thursday morning on the network's flagship program.

Following the French Revolution, the British philosopher Edmund Burke signaled a note of caution, warning that the desire for progress, uninhibited by convention, can lead to disaster. Revolutions in the name of lofty ideals—liberty, equality, science—can yield their opposites. A revolution in our time merits similar consideration: the transformation of human sexuality and, in particular, the rise of so-called transgender medicine. * * * The dismal metaphysics that lies beneath OHSU’s castration machines is academic queer theory, which holds that human beings are mere vehicles of “performativity” and that their nature can be molded and reshaped at will. In other...

Promoting Equality Upon visiting the DEI page, one encounters a statement that states, “One of our core values at Chick-fil-A, Inc. is that we are better together.” Additionally, it mentions Chick-fil-A’s commitment to embedding Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion in every aspect of its operations. Educators at Palisades High School in Charlotte, North Carolina, called it “Right to Read Day”—a contest where students were encouraged last month to “fight back against censorship” by reading and making videos about frequently banned books. But many of the books promoted in this contest were laden with pornography, including graphic rape scenes, pedophilia and anal sex between minors. Headline USA learned this from Wendy Hawley, a concerned parent of a student at Palisades; and Brooke Weiss, a substitute teacher at Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools and the head of North Carolina local chapter of the non-profit organization Moms for Liberty. “When I...

Wednesday night on the Timcast IRL podcast, Look Ahead America’s Matt Braynard disclosed that he had been able to visit J6ers in the “Gulag”. This is a seemingly rare admittance. In July of 2021, Congressmen Matt Gaetz (FL), Louie Gohmert (TX), and Marjorie Taylor Greene (GA) weren’t even permitted access to the prison. (snip) A few moments later, however, Braynard made another shocking claim about Chrestman’s situation. Braynard stated that Chrestman told him he was offered a plea deal to plead guilty to the two lesser charges and also to “condemn President Trump and say that President Trump was the...

White House deputy press secretary Andrew Bates could not say whether or not the cocaine found at the White House on Sunday belong to Hunter or President Joe Biden, citing the Hatch Act “Are you willing to say that that’s not the case? That it [cocaine] doesn’t belong to them?” a reporter asked Bates on Thursday aboard Air Force One. “I don’t have a response to that because we have to be careful about the Hatch Act,” he claimed. The reporter did not follow up with Bates on how the Hatch Act applied to the situation

MSNBC contributor Donny Deutsch said Thursday on “Morning Joe” that 2024 hopeful Gov. Ron DeSantis (R-FL) was the “prince of darkness” while discussing the governor’s wrapping Pride Month campaign video. Deutsch said, “Well, first of all, DeSantis is flailing. He is trying to continually move to the right of Trump. This LGBTQ thing is just — do you think this is moving voters? Are you really going to to paint Trump as a patron of this group?” He continued, “You know, as an ad guy, there is one thing I learned over the years is people aren’t stupid. I don’t...

Disney stock has fallen to its Friday price of $89.28 from a high of $200 in 2021. Investment advisory company KeyBanc Capital Markets downgraded Disney’s stock last week due to concerns that growth has stalled for the Mouse House’s Disney+ and Hulu streaming services and lower attendance at theme parks. The company’s stock price fell after KeyBanc analysts lowered Disney’s rating from overweight to sector weight on Wednesday. According to Barron’s, analysts led by Brandon Nispel said, "While Disney appears less expensive versus its historical average, we believe the stock is unlikely to work until a number of items have...

Op-ed by Summer Lane | Photo: AlamyAmerican women form a powerful voting group in the United States, and therefore it has become essential over the past several decades for political candidates to tailor their policy initiatives to speak as loudly to women as to men.Notably, women comprise more than half the population in the United States today, and they have cast 10 million more votes than men in America’s recent elections, the Center for American Women and Politics found. Not only that, but women are also registered to vote in the U.S. at higher rates than men are.Obviously, capturing the...

WASHINGTON (AP) — When archaeologists first discovered the 5,000-year-old ornate tomb in Spain, they assumed it was for a man. It held a rock crystal dagger, ivory tusks and other lavish items. But now they’ve determined the remains are those of a woman, and all it took was two teeth. The researchers used a new method of determining sex that analyzes tooth enamel. This technique, developed about five years ago, is more reliable than analyzing skeletal remains in poor condition, according to their study published Thursday in the journal Scientific Reports. Most details about the life of the “Ivory Lady,”...

House Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer (R-KY) has issued a warning to Democrat President Joe Biden that “disturbing” new evidence has emerged. Comer revealed that “more findings” have surfaced in the Committee’s investigation into the Biden family’s business affairs. The top Republican said the Committee will make the new information public in an announcement that will follow soon. “We’re up to six banks now, Jason, and we’re gonna have an announcement hopefully next week,” Comer told Fox News host Jason Chaffetz. “More findings, more disturbing findings. “Bank records don’t lie,” Comer noted. “People make a big issue out of taxes...
