A Call for Boycotts
This week a wave of controversy has been ignited by the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) section on Chick-fil-A’s website, stirring up discussions and garnering attention across various platforms.
While this content may not be entirely new, its emergence has prompted calls for boycotts from some individuals on social media.
Promoting Equality Upon visiting the DEI page, one encounters a statement that states, “One of our core values at Chick-fil-A, Inc. is that we are better together.” Additionally, it mentions Chick-fil-A’s commitment to embedding Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion in every aspect of its operations.
The company expresses its intention to achieve DEI by promoting equal opportunities, honoring unique experiences and perspectives, and cultivating a culture where all individuals can thrive.
A Hidden Agenda?
However, these statements are perceived by some as mere rhetoric and vague expressions that provide cover for a more insidious underlying agenda.
Based on observations in social media discussions, it appears that many Christians are being drawn in by the seemingly inclusive language used in the DEI messaging. After all, environments that are free from discrimination and prioritize harmony sound appealing and compassionate on the surface.
Potential Conflict for Christians
It is crucial to recognize that language is not always intended to be taken at face value.
The specific verbiage used in Chick-fil-A’s DEI messaging raises concerns and signals an alignment with progressivism, as it employs the exact same language that is commonly associated with progressive movements.
This alignment with progressivism poses a potential conflict for Christians, as progressivism historically has not been inclusive of the Christian worldview. These are Christian principles that are gradually being pushed aside in spaces increasingly dominated by progressive ideologies.
Significant Transformation of Company Values Furthermore, the statement asserting that DEI efforts are involved in “everything we do” raises additional concerns and speaks volumes about the scope of the shift.
It implies that the company’s DEI agenda extends beyond mere inclusivity and permeates its entire belief system, values, and mission. This mission, which was previously unequivocally Christian, appears to have undergone a significant transformation.
Straying from the Path
Chick-fil-A’s shift in embracing DEI principles raises questions and concerns among its Christian fan base.
A significant portion of the company’s success and support has been attributed to its alignment with Christian values and its refusal to conform to the patterns of the secular world.
It appears that Chick-fil-A may be straying from that path, aligning itself with ideologies that are at odds with traditional Christian beliefs.
The controversy surrounding Chick-fil-A’s DEI stance signifies a departure from the company’s previously cherished Christian values, raising concerns among its Christian supporters.
But they got woke. I haven't eaten there in more than five years and don't plan to do so anytime soon.
I’ve avoided Chick-fil-A for over 3 years now since the CEO (son) got political woke
Their food really isn’t that good folks
Are the stores open on Sundays?
So it sounds as though they’ll welcome school mass shooters also. “Everybody is better together.”
(Is Chick-Fil-A Straying from Its Christian Identity?)
Is Bismarck a herring?
I like it but it’s WAY overpriced.
Present some actual facts of things that happened in real life rather than boilerplate buried on a web page.
Put not your trust in princes, nor in a son of man, in whom there is no salvation.
When his breath departs, he returns to the earth; on that very day his plans perish.
Blessed is he whose help is the God of Jacob, whose hope is in the Lord his God.

Too much sodium.
"Any organization not explicitly and constitutionally right-wing will sooner or later become left-wing."
Probably ...
I havent been to one for nearly 2 years now ...
They scoffed at the idea of recognizing veterans on Veterans Day ...
It wasnt the lack of freebies it was their ugly attitude ...
Their corporate arms got twisted by BlackRock?
Yep, I’ve heard for years now, here on Free Republic, that Chick Fil A had gone liberal.
bkmk
I like it but it’s WAY overpriced.
********
My mom got a grilled chicken club meal & it was $13 ... she did not upsize anything ... I couldn’t believe it cost so much! Obviously, I don’t eat at Chik-Fil-A.
People should do some reading about Mao’s cultural Revolution. We are living this, on both extremes.
If anyone has enough energy to get worked up about what Chikfil a is doing, besides making chicken sandwiches, they should get a hobby.
The symbolism on the upholstery in these joints is occult imagery.
I don’t expect to get a decent chicken sandwich at church or a Bible lesson at Chick-Fil-A.
Yes, Chick-fil-A has been dead to me for years.
To me, they are worse than the other fast-food companies because they pretend to be a Christian-based company. They may have been at one time, but that was a while ago.
