Pray For The Peace of JerusalemLuke 11 Woes on the Pharisees and the Experts in the Law 37 When Jesus had finished speaking, a Pharisee invited him to eat with him; so he went in and reclined at the table. 38 But the Pharisee was surprised when he noticed that Jesus did not first wash before the meal. 39 Then the Lord said to him, “Now then, you Pharisees clean the outside of the cup and dish, but inside you are full of greed and wickedness. 40 You foolish people! WASHINGTON (AP) — President Joe Biden promised voters in 2020 that he knew how to get things done in Washington and could bring stability to the capital. It seemed like a message out of step with the more combative era brought on by Donald Trump. But Biden prevailed, and as he seeks a second term, he’s again trying to frame the race as a referendum on competence and governance, pointing to the bipartisan debt limit and budget legislation he signed on Saturday as another exemplar of the success of his approach. His approach, favoring pragmatism over Trumpian pugilism, will be...

There was a time when comedy was free to do or say just about anything as long as it made the audience laugh. Not anymore. The late-night comedy shows are no longer “set-up – the punchline,” they are “complain about the other side – applause line.” They are nightly mini-political conventions so afraid of straying from anything their audience finds agreeable that they’re boring. Same thing with movies and stand-up comedy; they’re all wildly predictable because participants aren’t free, either by fear or choice, to take the ballsy risks that made those professions worthy of admiration. It’s pathetic. But there...

This is Newt Gingrich defending President George Bush 41 on the bill that raised taxes called the Omnibus Budget Reconciliation Act of 1990. In all fairness to Newt, he and all but 10 Republicans voted against it, but listen to the way he defends Bush. It is the same as people defending the GOP today. This interview occurred on the Bob Grant Show on 10/25/1990. The bill was passed on 11/5/1990. ”>< /a>

Utah needs a proven fighter and conservative voice in Washington. Last month, Riverton Republican Mayor Trent Staggs, who became widely known in 2020 for his strong stance against mask mandates during the COVID-19 pandemic, announced he is running for Senate to unseat incumbent RINO Sen. Mitt Romney. Stagg’s campaign emphasizes the need for a fearless representative who is unafraid to stand against the Washington establishment and fight for the interests of Utahans. Highlighting the challenges faced by the nation and the state, Stagg outlined his plan to address critical issues that he believes have been neglected by current leadership. “Right...

Fallout shelters can cost millions of dollars. But this DIY underground bunker costs about $1,000. You wouldn't want to live in this makeshift underground bunker forever. In a pinch, this DIY fallout shelter would be better than an above-ground building, an expert said.In the event of nuclear war, the ultra-rich can hide away in their luxury bunkers that cost anywhere from $35,000 to $14 million. But what about the rest of us?Turns out, if a nuclear attack is imminent, you can build your own DIY fallout shelter for relatively cheap. You would just need a couple of days' time, some equipment,...

For shame. A podcast with hundreds of thousands of subscribers and followers across online platforms is stoking the flames of controversy — by belittling female guests and making them look dumb. “Whatever,” hosted by Brian Atlas, masquerades as a dating talk show while delving into gender roles, body counts and the legitimacy of the patriarchy. The podcast team uses social media to seek women panelists, only to later “roast” them online in snippets pandering to the virality of the inflammatory hot takes. In other words, it’s perfect clickbait. The “Whatever” podcast has been slammed for belittling women. In one episode,...

The skies over Washington DC were chaotic Sunday as a small plane flew overhead. Some reports indicate it even made it over the White House with Joe Biden inside. Sonic booms were being reported as explosions in the nation’s capital. F-16s were scrambled and the plane later crashed in rural Virginia. There is no confirmation that the plane was shot down by the military. According to The Gateway Pundit: "The plane that flew over Washington, D.C. Sunday afternoon and crashed in rural Virginia was allowed to fly almost right over the White House, according to flight tracking. The Capitol was...

Is Jesus woke? Since Christ is usually the lapel worn on the sleeves of those who oppose being woke, it begs the question, right? Would Jesus Christ be in denial or “aware of and actively attentive to important societal facts and issues especially of racial and social justice” as Merriam-Webster’s defines the adjective? First, did Christ behave in a woke way? A nostalgic recall of biblical stories throughout the ages says yes. One only need to recollect the parable of the Good Samaritan, the Woman at the Well or the Healing of the Roman Centurion’s Pais to support that Jesus’...

During a campaign stop in Grimes, Iowa, Trump spoke at an event where an audience member pressed him on “what were you thinking” or would “do different,” saying, “we have lost people because you supported the jab.” It is not clear if she was referring to lost lives due to vaccine-related deaths or lost jobs due to vaccine mandates. “Everybody wanted a vaccine at that time,” Trump responded. “And I was able to do something that nobody else could have done, getting it done very, very rapidly. But I never was for mandates. I was, I thought the mandates were...
