Daniel Ellsberg, the man behind the largest and perhaps most consequential disclosure in U.S. history, said the latest intelligence leaks show that the war between Russia and Ukraine is at a “stalemate,” drawing similarities to the Vietnam War. Ellsberg, now 92, leaked the Pentagon Papers — a top-secret Defense study into the U.S. involvement in the Vietnam War — to the New York Times in 1971. The leak was devastating to the American government, an indictment of U.S. policy and detailing the country’s decades-long involvement in Vietnam and validating many of the anti-war criticisms.

America’s top infectious disease expert admitted that Covid vaccine mandates he championed may have fueled a dip in confidence in routine shots. In a rare admission of culpability, Dr Anthony Fauci said the policies were 'counterproductive' and turned vaccine skeptics off rather than gain their favor. Fauci has retired from a long tenure in the federal government, where the White House's top doctor was the highest-paid federal employee and made around $400,000 per year.

Transgender Missourians are posting heart-wrenching videos on social media about being forced to 'de-transition' once their sex-reassignment drugs are banned, under new rules set to come into force this week. Others are trading tips online about stockpiling the cross-sex hormones they need, or finding a telehealth doctor to help them once Attorney General Andrew Bailey's tight new emergency restrictions come into force on Thursday. Bailey's first-of-its-kind rule, introduced over fears of young people getting irreversible treatments in Missouri, impose numerous restrictions on both adults and children before they can receive puberty-blocking drugs, hormones, or surgeries. In one widely-shared TikTok video,...

Tucker Carlson and Don Lemon have hired the same lawyer after leaving their respective networks. Bryan Freedman is known as the go-to lawyer for multimillion-dollar payouts in messy media breakups. He's worked for former TV hosts at ABC, NBC, and CNN, and a long list of celebrities. Fox News host Tucker Carlson and CNN anchor Don Lemon both left their networks on Monday and have just hired the same powerhouse lawyer to handle their departures, according to multiple reports. Neither host has announced a lawsuit or dispute against their employers. But the litigator they've retained — Bryan Freedman — has...

Thousands of people have reported suffering from severe ringing in the ears after receiving the mRNA shots, but the CDC isn’t listing it as a possible side effect of the jabs. NBC News reports that over 16,000 people have reported tinnitus or ringing in the ears after receiving the COVID shots. Considering the millions of people vaccinated in the U.S., this may seem like a drop in the bucket, but tinnitus can be life-altering. The refusal of the CDC to acknowledge a possible link between the COVID mRNA shots and tinnitus is frustrating to some medical professionals. One of those...

CANBERRA, Australia -- Australia needs to spend more money on defense, make its own munitions and develop the ability to strike longer-range targets as China's military buildup challenges regional security, according to a government-commissioned report released Monday. The Defense Strategic Review supports the so-called AUKUS partnership among Australia, the United States and Britain, which in March announced an agreement to create an Australian fleet of eight submarines powered by U.S. nuclear technology.

With only weeks until South Africa hosts the annual two-day summit of BRICS nations in June, one official revealed that many countries requested membership to join the bloc of emerging-market states. BRICS comprises five countries—Brazil, Russia, India, China, and South Africa—with prominent emerging market economies. Anil Sooklal, South Africa’s ambassador to the organization, confirmed to Bloomberg on April 24 that 19 nations have expressed interest. “What will be discussed is the expansion of BRICS and the modalities of how this will happen,” Sooklal. “Thirteen countries have formally asked to join, and another six have asked informally. We are getting applications...

According to the UN, India now has a population 1,425,775,850, knocking China from the first spot for the first time since 1950, when the UN first started making population estimates. Earlier projections said we would overtake China in 2027, so it’s happened four years faster, mostly because of our young population,” said Muttreja. “But at the same time, we have also reduced our population growth and reached population stabilisation faster than we had imagined, and it will continue to slow down..."

A consortium of major media companies is suing the Justice Department and the FBI for ignoring Freedom of Information Act requests to obtain the still-secret recordings of January 6. Matthew Graves just received a court summons. As the U.S. attorney for the District of Columbia, Graves is rarely on the receiving end of a legal inquiry. In fact, Graves’ hand must be tired from signing thousands of criminal indictments, sentencing memos, and plea offers related to his ongoing investigation into the events of January 6, 2021. Just this week, the FBI arrested two more individuals on minor offenses, giving Graves’...

MSNBC host Joe Scarborough said Tuesday on his show “Morning Joe” that House Speaker Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) should get any January 6, 2020 Capitol riot footage back from former Fox News host Tucker Carlson. While the panel was discussing Carlson, c0-host Mika Brzezinski said, “I think the question about the January 6 tapes is a really big one. What exactly happens to those? Do they stay in his possession?” Scarborough said, “It just shows how ridiculously, outrageously irresponsible of Kevin McCarthy to send security tapes to a conspiracy theorist. Again, just mind-bending, that he sends this information to somebody who...

Liberal societies uphold the principle of sexual self-determination - in contrast to traditional church sexual morality. The Church could learn something from this, says moral theologian Stephan Goertz - without that meaning relativism. Stephan Goertz, a moral theologian from Mainz, believes it is necessary for the Church to commit itself to the principle of sexual self-determination. Behind the consensus principle there is far more ethical appreciation of the staff than behind the traditional nature principle of Catholic sexual ethics, the theologian writes in the current "Herder-Korrespondenz" (May issue). The Church could learn a lot from the moral sensitivity of liberal...

The Tucker Carlson Departure From Fox and the Power of Big Pharma Why would Fox News fire its most popular host? On average, one million additional people tuned into Tucker Carlson every night than to the Fox programs before and after his show. He drew four times as many viewers as the 8PM show on CNN, Anderson Cooper 360°. He was the leading draw on Fox’s streaming service, and there is no rising star at the network expected to take his seat. It wasn’t a lack of success that pushed out Carlson, so we are left to speculate why Fox...

One because one of the vehicles carjacked was a Tesla and, more importantly, this carjacking and police chase which involved all three South Florida counties of Dade, Broward, and Palm Beach terminated right near where I live. This happened a few days ago and had I decided to go to nearby Big Daddy's for a liquor pickup or to eat in the adjoining Flanigan's, I could have been the one carjacked on the way home.A very DRAMATIC carjacking notable for two reasons.
