The Texas Medical Board (TMB) wants to revoke the medical license of Dr. Mary Talley Bowden for using an unapproved therapy of treating covid patients with ivermectin. In a private hearing they offered her as "plea deal" if she would agree she was wrong, pay a $5,000 fine, and take remedial medical education. Bowden refused their offer, saying "everyone of the 5,500 covid patients I treated recovered. None died. The same can't be said for those who received the approved therapy of waiting until they are deathly sick before going to a hospital where they are put on ventilators until...

Once whetted, the appetite of the woke beast is insatiable. But one senses it is nearly sated in its hate feast against Scott Adams. How do you imagine the woke beast? It is rough, surely, and slouches towards some unprofitable venue, so not Bethlehem. I think of it as something ravenous but episodic in its appetites, a sort of Polyphemus for hire. It gorges in a destructive frenzy and then retreats to some dank corner to belch and sleep and slobber. The world, appalled by the spectacle of its rampage, instantly begins making excuses for its viciousness—were not its victims somehow...

"Speech, expression and assembly" represent the triumvirate for truth. Short of breaking existing laws around physical violence and incitement to physical violence, the more we have of all three, the closer we come to that more perfect union, offering the most freedom for the most people with the least government interference. But in an age of internet technology with deep fakes, bots, hacks, and myriad pathways to craft and deliver mis- and dis-information, radical left-wingers can abuse and use those liberties to tarnish conservatives, desensitize our communities to certain phenomena, and squelch our freedoms. It behooves individuals, our government, and...

Old Joe Biden swung by Selma, Ala., on Sunday to commemorate the 58th anniversary of “Bloody Sunday,” the March 7, 1965, civil rights march in Selma that state troopers attacked with tear gas and clubs, leading to serious injuries to seventeen marchers. As is his longstanding habit, Biden seized the opportunity to embroider on his life story in order to demonstrate that he was not only on the side of the good guys, but had been all along. “I was a student up north in the civil rights movement,” Biden informed his audience in Selma. “I remember feeling how guilty...

The founder of Russia's Wagner group of mercenaries has warned the entire frontline will collapse if his troops in the Ukrainian city of Bakhmut do not receive more ammunition. Yevgeny Prigozhin, whose organisation has played a significant part in Russian military successes in recent months, said his ammo-starved forces were the 'cement' holding the frontline together and the last line of defence to win the war. 'Today, Wagner is the cement that, as I've said previously, is holding the Ukrainian army in place – grinding it down, destroying it and preventing it from deploying to other regions and occupying other...

New emails uncovered by House Republicans probing the COVID-19 pandemic reveal the deceptive nature of Dr. Anthony Fauci. They show he “prompted” or commissioned — and had final approval on — a scientific paper written specifically in February 2020 to disprove the theory that the virus leaked from a lab in Wuhan, China. Eight weeks later, Fauci stood at a White House press conference alongside President Trump and cited that paper as evidence that the lab leak theory was implausible while pretending it had nothing to do with him and he did not know the authors. ... That paper, entitled...

In China currently, the retirement age for men is 60, while for women, it is 55 for white-collar workers and 50 for blue-collar employees. These differences will stay in place to ensure policy continuity, said Jin. Jin said retirement age reform requires overall planning and coordination as it involves many supporting policies and measures. The reform also faces challenges such as promoting employment and entrepreneurship of older workers through more targeted means, and offering more social security subsidies to those who have difficulty finding jobs and helping them get reemployed, said Jin.

This list only includes destroyed vehicles and equipment of which photo or videographic evidence is available. Therefore, the amount of equipment destroyed is significantly higher than recorded here. Small arms, ATGMs, MANPADS, loitering munitions, drones used as unmanned bait, civilian vehicles, trailers and derelict equipment are not included in this list. All possible effort has gone into avoiding duplicate entries and discerning the status of equipment between captured or abandoned. Many of the entries listed as 'abandoned' will likely end up captured or destroyed. Similarly, some of the captured equipment might be destroyed if it can't be recovered. When the...

Why aren't the fascist far-left leaving the country they loathe? People usually don't try to transform and then destroy that which they love, so why aren't they just leaving? These days, the Babylon Bee has the range, and it's putting its rhetorical rounds right on target. Now it's just firing for effect, from a story about a man catching up on the latest news by reading two-year-old posts on a conspiracy blog to a satirical report from a few years ago about a group of leftists heading for the Socialist Paradise of Venezuela. It brings up a point you might...

Pray For The Peace of JerusalemMark 8The Way of the Cross34 Then he called the crowd to him along with his disciples and said: “Whoever wants to be my disciple must deny themselves and take up their cross and follow me. 35 For whoever wants to save their life[b] will lose it, but whoever loses their life for me and for the gospel will save it. 36 What good is it for someone to gain the whole world, yet forfeit their soul? 37 Or what can anyone give in exchange for their soul? 38 If anyone is ashamed of me...

The few sowed the wind, and the many reaped their whirlwind. American society is facing three existential crises not unlike those that overcame the late Roman, and a millennium later, terminal Byzantine, empires. Premodern Barbarism We are suffering an epidemic of premodern barbarism. The signs unfortunately appear everywhere. Over half a million homeless people crowd our big-city downtowns. Most know the result of such Medieval street living is unhealthy, violent, and lethal for all concerned. Yet no one knows—or even seems to worry about—how to stop it. So public defecation, urination, fornication, and injection continue unabated. Progressive urban pedestrians pass...

Climate change could cost Germany up to €900 billion ($956.8 billion) by the middle of the century, government research published Monday has shown. The study presented by the Environment and Economy Ministries was not to be understood as a prediction, but were meant to give an impression of what could happen under certain circumstances.
