“There is no crueler tyranny than that which is perpetuated under the shield of law and in the name of justice.” --Montesquieu It has been clear enough since the Obama administration weaponized the DOJ and the FBI that there is no longer a single and equal system of justice in America. There are two; one for progressive Democrats that essentially ignores the Constitution, and a harsh, Kafkaesque version for conservatives. Remember when those Black Panthers stood outside a polling place in Philadelphia with baseball bats and Eric Holder refused to prosecute them for voter intimidation? Or when the Obama administration...

Kennedy dedicated a significant portion of his speech to the COVID-19 vaccine and the threat he said it poses to Americans.

Illegal immigration costs American taxpayers and hospitals billions of dollars in medical costs every year, the Federation for American Immigration Reform pointed out. Last year, when over 98,000 illegal aliens were encountered in the Yuma, Arizona, border sector, the local hospital found itself providing $26 million in uncompensated care to illegal migrants. CEO of Yuma Regional Medical Center Robert Trenschel pointed out at a Congressional hearing that many migrants come to America with “significant disease,” and often require major medical treatments, ranging from dialysis to heart surgery. This strain put on the American healthcare system is by no means limited...

In a great reverse Black migration, Brookings data says four of the top five states for Black population gains since 2010 are Texas, Georgia, North Carolina, and Florida. Black people are driving U-Hauls to Texas, Georgia and Florida despite voter restrictions. A new Republican majority on North Carolina’s supreme court is reconsidering redistricting and voting restrictions ruled illegal by the court’s prior Democratic majority. Florida banned an Advanced Placement African American studies course. Texas and Florida are ending diversity, equity and inclusion in state agencies, and limiting the teaching of race in schools. Some observers, such New York Times columnist...

Interest rates are an important driver of the economy and financial markets. And what has happened to the S&P 500 index since The Federal Reserve started raising their target rate on May 4, 2023 to fight surging inflation? Since that fatal day, the S&P 500 index has fallen -6% and equity REITs (commercial real estate) has fallen -16%. Although The Fed has pledged to keep raising rates to fight inflation (and further decimate retirement accounts), investors are pointing to a peak (terminal) Fed rate of 5.44% at the September 2023 FOMC meeting. "I, Daniel, observed in the books the number of the years which was revealed as the word of the Lord to Jeremiah the prophet for the completion of the desolations of Jerusalem, namely, seventy years. So I gave my attention to the Lord God to seek Him by prayer and supplications" (Dan. 9:2-3). God’s sovereignty doesn’t eliminate the need for prayer. Have you ever wondered if it's biblical to pray for things that God has already promised in His Word to do? Is it proper to pray, say, for the salvation of sinners, knowing that God will redeem all the...
