The family of Chase Allan — a 25-year-old man who was shot and killed by Farmington police officers Wednesday — expressed frustration as they say police will not give them information. Don’t fall for this constitutional carry trap The true purpose behind everybody trying to load up their state laws with sensitive places is not really about prohibiting you from carrying firearms in those places. It's about designating so many areas as sensitive places that it creates only tiny little isolated pockets where you're actually legally allowed to carry, and you can't plausibly do it without technically violating the law dozens of times every single day. Because the instant they stop you for any mundane reason and you happen to be in or near one of those locations you're going to...

In a world-first randomized study, catheter ablation has been shown to reverse heart failure with preserved ejection fraction (HFpEF) in patients with both HFpEF and atrial fibrillation (AF). Researchers found catheter ablation substantially improved exercise capacity, lung pressure and quality of life in participants, and significantly, 50% of participants randomized to the study group no longer met the criteria for a HFpEF diagnosis. Dr. David Chieng said that catheter ablation should be considered as a treatment option for those with AF and HFpEF. "After catheter ablation, half of our study patients showed reversal of HFpEF using the gold standard testing...

Mark Ruffalo is an American actor who spends his free time spewing antisemitic rhetoric and dangerous anti-Israel propaganda to his nearly 30 million social media followers. In World War II, after Germany had conquered most of Europe, and just after the Fall of France, leaving England alone in Europe to carry on against the Nazis, a cartoon by the artist Low appeared, showing a defiant Englishman shaking his fist at the sky, and underneath was the caption “Very well, then—alone.” This cartoon comes naturally to mind when we consider the threat that a nuclear-armed Iran poses to the world, and the certainty that only one country can be counted on to prevent that threat from being realizing. Tiny Israel is now having its “very well then...

Media acceptance of lab-leak theory is the turning of the COVID ratchetThe mainstream media is attempting to reconstitute its COVID narrative after multiple government agencies confirmed that a Chinese laboratory in Wuhan was the likely origin of the virus. On Sunday, the Wall Street Journal dropped a report based on classified evidence from the Department of Energy revealing that the agency believed the lab-leak hypothesis was the most likely explanation for COVID-19. Even as progressive media outlets like NPR and alleged comedians like Stephen Colbert voiced opposition to government confirmation of a theory of origin that they had already attacked,...

The Black Lives Matter race riots in New York City were among the worst in the country. Racist mobs injured hundreds of police officers, started fires, looted stores and vandalized parks and statues. At least 450 businesses, many of them small and family owned, were damaged or looted by the rioters who claimed to be angry over the drug overdose death of George Floyd: a vicious career criminal who had previously robbed a woman by putting a gun to her stomach. While Black Lives Matter was swimming in hundreds of millions of dollars, funneled to it by radical nonprofits, major corporations...

According to Jacksonville 4 News Governor Ron DeSantis spent last weekend “huddled behind closed doors at a south Florida luxury hotel for a “Freedom Blueprint” retreat with more than 100 donors, elected officials and conservative influencers.” According to the report from those present, “Laura Ingraham hosted a fireside chat with DeSantis on Sunday.” You would think this ongoing network and relationship would need a mention, perhaps even a disclaimer, if the Fox News pundit was going to follow up with additional promotion of the same candidate. Alas, as more people become familiar with the tactics of the professionally Republican, what...

Six US Air Force personnel were fired for failing to ensure the safety and security of the country’s nuclear stockpile. Two commanders and four subordinates were relieved of duty at Minot Air Force Base in North Dakota after their units failed an inspection, according to CNN. The base houses strategic bombers and missile silos, two branches of America’s “nuclear triad” military structure. Both Commanders were part of the 5th Mission Support Group and the 5th Logistics Readiness Squadron. The news organisation says that the security inspection is a pass/fail test and that the results are classified. There is no suggestion...

This song is a Babylon Bee parody of the song “California Dreaming” by the Mamas and the Papas. Performed by the Bee Boys. Between 2020 and 2021, the once Golden State of California has lost over 300,000 legal residents. *Since 2010, about 7.5 million people moved from California to other states, while only 5.8 million people moved to California from other parts of the country. The only reason the population is not shrinking that much is because of immigration ( legal and illegal )* See here : https://ktla.com/news/california/californias-population-keeps-shrinking/

Yesterday’s inflation report (in the form on skyrocketing labor costs) helped lead Bankrate’s 30-year mortgage rate to over 7% … again. Here is yesterday’s horrible unit labor costs YoY chart showing the fastest growth in labor costs since 1982 and Fed Chair Paul Volcker. Jerome Powell, the current Fed Chair is trying to reduce the Bernanke/Yellen/Powell monetary stimulypto (with an extra dose of “sugar” from the Covid outbreak).
