California Supervisor asks MyPillow CEO for money in case they are sued for voting changes

y Shasta County Supervisors to return to a hand counting system for paper ballots is getting national attention. This week, Supervisor Kevin Crye reported that he'd reached out to MyPillow CEO Mike Lindell.

.

KRCR asked Supervisor Crye about it and he says it was a simple request to ask Lindell if he was willing to pay for legal help should the county, or the supervisors, be sued over the hand counting pilot program that would include provisions for disabled voters.

And just who would pay to sue ?

Well,, maybe these folks...

The Center for Tech and Civic Life

The conversation between those who wanted to return to hand counting and those in favor of a new electronic voting system seemed pretty evenly divided.****

However, before a vote was brought, the board voted three to two to accept a $1.5 million grant from "The Center for Tech and Civic Life" as long as the money goes only toward a building.

The Center for Tech and Civic Life

Does that make ring a bell ?

In the lead‐up to the 2020 election, philanthropies backed by Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg and his wife Priscilla Chan provided grants to local election offices around the country to aid in administrative tasks, voter communication, and other work made more challenging by the COVID-19 pandemic — a program sometimes nicknamed Zuckerbucks.

The problem with all hand counting is the number of different elections happening at the same time.

You could have President, Senator, Representative, Governor, State Senator and Representative, other state offices and local offices.

Either you have separate ballots for each election which would be a nightmare to manage or all elections on a single ballot which means sorting and counting the same ballot multiple times.

I’m not sure I’m following.

1) The county wants to make an effort to have honest elections.
2) The county is afraid that Zuckerberg will take them to court to force them to continue to have dishonest elections.
3) The county is asking MyPillow to be a white knight and protect them from Zuckerberg

Perhaps I misunderstand. But this doesn’t feel like America.

Seems that Kevin wants to Crye if he doesn’t get his way.

Have you ever worked at an election polling place?

I don’t live in a city, but in a small town. We always hand counted until about 2 years ago.

All this mail in, early voting and expanded/modified absentee ballot crap is just Bull Crap. It is excuse for fraud.

The machines hide the fraud but multiply the possibilities in committing.

Yes, hand count can be done. And done accurately.

Of course the #ComDems want to keep stealing elections so all of this is by design for them.

All ComDem’s Lie, they must, if they ever told the “truth” no one would ever elect them.

Lindell was banned from Twitter for a second time after attempting to use a new account to access the social media platform. They decided that, two of them—it’s two-to-two; there’s five of them that vote—to get rid of the machines altogether,

We have a fusion center in redding iirc.

Plus the heavy hitter Megan Rapinoe.

So you could call it “ Occupied USA” imo.

It’s a struggle up here in the real northern Calif.

“We always hand counted until about 2 years ago.”

Were there separate ballot papers for each election or were all the elections on a single ballot paper?

Says you.

France hand counts and has results in one day.

If a whole country can do a hand count, I’m sure a tiny county like shasta can manage.

Many countries have entirely paper ballots and hand counting. But they also only have a single election at a time, occasionally two (with separate ballot papers and separate boxes).

But when you have multiple elections at local, state and federal levels all at the same time it becomes much more difficult. That is why the US has been using various forms of automated counting for over 100 years eg Shoup Voting Machines

"What, you a krcr urinalist ?

Search only for krcr urinalist?

It looks like there aren't many great matches for your search.

Try using words that might appear on the page you’re looking for. For example, "cake recipes" instead of "how to make a cake."

Well.....It looks like I'm still a Baptist. :)
