The family of Chase Allan — a 25-year-old man who was shot and killed by Farmington police officers Wednesday — expressed frustration as they say police will not give them information. "We have learned more from media coverage about what occurred than anywhere else right now," the Allan family said in a statement late Thursday. "Police are stonewalling us."

At least we know Chase wasn’t guilty of driving while black.
“Officers claim it was a routine traffic stop, yet the officer requested multiple other officers to the scene a couple blocks prior to the stop,” family members said. “This resulted in the brutal murder of Chase at the hands of five Farmington police officers, with them shooting him while he was still in his automobile and likely terrified for his safety.”

Could have been drunk or on drugs and full of attitude, which seems to be the default mode for recent college graduates these days. Maybe the cops just effed up. I will keep an open mind.
He didn’t listen to the police, was confrontational, and ended up dead.
This is what my parents told me would happen if you did this stuff (confronted the police), and Farmington is a rural western community not unlike where I grew up a few hundred miles away. It’s yes sir(maam) and no sir(maam) and follow their instructions, or expect tragedy.
Maybe the police could have done it better, maybe not, but he is still dead. The information my parents gave me should be spread across the United States to save lives.
If he were black, we’d all know his name as well as we know that of George Floyd - with the attendant rioting and looting and 24/7 media coverage.

Doubtful. Considering that the propagandists are only throwing “their story” out, for their own interests, and probably not the truth, I would not believe anything that they say.
It becomes everyone’s job to “end the threat.”
My parents told me the same thing in 1975, before they let me drive the car.
Acceptable answers to police questions:
Yes, sir.
No, sir.
I don’t know, sir.
I’m sorry, sir.
And be sure to say “Thank you” if he lets you go with a warning.
Vehicle is said to have had no license plate. It definitely has very dark tinted windows, which might have occluded police view of what the driver was doing. The bullet holes suggest one shooter, firing from the passenger side. Impossible to call this one without dash/body-cam video. Seems like the police would share it with his parents ASAP if it shows the boy to have been at fault.
