5:41 Establishment-backed Republican legislators in Georgia are trying to pass a bill that could allow illegal migrants to jump ahead of Americans for school-choice funding. On Thursday, the state Senate Education and Youth committee held a surprise hearing and vote for the bill after silencing opposition from D.A. King, founder of the pro-American New Dustin Inman Society. Next, “it will go through the Senate Rules Committee where the Senate rules chairman has one of the cosigners,” King told Breitbart News. “It’s a put-up job. … Then it will go to the floor,” King said. In "King Kong" Fay Wray screamed at a monster like no one in film had done before. Modern feminists scream. Loudly and powerfully. At normal men. May we and the good Lord restore to us the gender balances we had back then.

New York City is planning to compensate protesters from a 2020 demonstration following George Floyd's death with $21,500 each in a new settlement. In the proposed settlement, the city has agreed to pay $21,500 to each member of the class-action suit, plus an additional $2,500 to those who were issued "Desk Appearance Tickets." If it is approved by a judge, the settlement could amount to an estimated $4 million to $6 million. There were reportedly around 300 people in attendance at the protest, and roughly 90 have already settled with the city regarding alternative complaints. The class-action suit participants alleged...

Following her decision to use ivermectin to combat COVID-19 and issuing a declaration that she would only treat the unvaccinated, Dr. Mary Talley Bowden’s medical license is being threatened by the Texas Medical Board on behalf of complaints from two separate hospitals. Having treated more than 5,000 patients with COVID-19, neither of the complaints accuse Bowden of harming a single patient. “People close to me have encouraged me to give up for my own well-being, but I’ve witnessed too much and could not live with myself if I didn’t keep going,” said Bowden. “I did nothing wrong and will fight...

They’ve got a three-year itch. A group of Palm Springs residents are fighting to remove a towering statue of Marilyn Monroe in one of her most iconic poses, arguing that the work is a sexist eyesore that blocks traffic. On Feb. 23, the Art Newspaper reported, California’s 4th District Court of Appeals overturned a motion to dismiss a lawsuit by the Committee to Relocate Marilyn (Crema), which is battling to remove Seward Johnson’s 2011 sculpture “Forever Marilyn” from its current site outside the Palm Springs Art Museum.

FBI Director Christopher Wray said Tuesday that Covid likely escaped from a laboratory in China, issuing the first public opinion of the sort from the agency on the origins of the virus that plagued the world for over two years. The FBI had been investigating the question for months. Wray said that the Chinese regime has been attempting to “thwart and obfuscate” that inquiry. The bureau reportedly arrived at the conclusion regarding Covid’s source in 2021, but this is the first time Wray has publicly made the statement confirming the FBI’s acceptance of the lab-leak hypothesis. A declassified intelligence report...

The speed by which wind farms are being constructed across the U.S. is going faster than a spring wind in Casper. In about 20 years, the wind turbines put into operation today will be nearing the end of their lifespan. The ones built 20 years ago are nearing it now. Since the blades are very difficult to recycle, the waste stream created by the retired blades is a mounting problem. According to a 2017 study published in the scientific journal Waste Management, the world’s wind industry will be producing 43 million tons of blade waste annually by 2050.

London CNN — Russian oil is still finding its way to buyers around the world. But even those who spend their days tracking its movement across oceans struggle to work out exactly who is ferrying it. As Western sanctions against Russia have escalated over its invasion of Ukraine, more ships have joined an existing fleet of mysterious tankers, ready to facilitate Russia’s oil exports. Industry insiders estimate the size of that “shadow” fleet at roughly 600 vessels, or about 10% of the global number of large tankers. And numbers continue to climb. Who owns and operates many of these ships...

House Republicans are pumping the brakes on the release of Jan. 6 surveillance footage they’ve offered to Fox News host Tucker Carlson and going on offense against Democrats who have spent the past week slamming the move. Republican leaders are emphasizing that no clips will be broadcast without prior security clearance while accusing Democrats of neglecting the same precautions during the investigation by the House select committee last year — a charge the Democrats quickly rejected. Carlson, Fox’s wildly popular conservative pundit, said last week that he would begin airing footage from the Jan. 6, 2021, Capitol riot this week,...

Former President Donald Trump unveiled a key talking point for his 2024 campaign - an "America First" trade plan which would include universal tariffs on most goods imported into the US. Trump laid it out in a Feb. 27 statement, which called for a system of universal baseline tariffs on most foreign products, while rewarding American domestic production. The new policy will "tax China to build up America," according to Trump."Joe Biden claims to support American manufacturing, but in reality, he is pushing the same pro-China globalist agenda that ripped the industrial heart out of our country," Trump said in...

WASHINGTON, March 1 (Reuters) - The United States is sounding out close allies about the possibility of imposing new sanctions on China if Beijing provides military support to Russia for its war in Ukraine, according to four U.S. officials and other sources. The consultations, which are still at a preliminary stage, are intended to drum up support from a range of countries, especially those in the wealthy Group of 7 (G7), to coordinate support for any possible restrictions. It was not clear what specific sanctions Washington will propose. The conversations have not been previously disclosed. The U.S. Treasury Department, a...

Rapidly rising food, housing, medical, and tuition prices are squeezing Americans, and many do not understand the real cause of their falling living standards...That confusion opens the door for opportunistic politicians who promise supposed freebies to ease the pain of inflation. Many, unfortunately, succumb to this siren’s call.Perverse as it is, the policies offered to people suffering from inflation create even more inflation. In other words, inflation has a way of perpetuating itself, much like a heroin addiction. We are already seeing cockamamie schemes in the US, like “inflation relief checks,” which attempt to solve the problems of inflation by creating...
